The actress that played the Queen of Spades is a martial arts expert named Chihiro Yamamoto. She actually worked with Usagi actress Tao Tsuchiya on the stunts for this game. In an interview, Tao said her character was a fit climber but not a fighter so her training they purposefully created stunts that were "clumsy" for Usagi. Likewise, the actor that plays Arisu had never handled a gun before. He was given a prop shotgun that would have a similar blast as a real one which is why he's especially awkward with firearms (most of us would honestly not be handling firearms like in movies so kudos to the process of that bit).
Something I'd like to mention is that Arisu's "skill" is heart games. That gets glossed over in the adaptation but it's pretty important. I'd recommend the manga anyway because there's a whole heart game with Arisu that got cut. In said game we get to know another main character who's really important but they're completely cut from the adaptation so you'll never know until you read the manga. I highly recommend it!
It's really sad that Dodo (and Mahiru Yuuji) was cut off. And it's sad because the manga in face card games gave us reason to root for the other players as well. It pretty much turned into PvE in the manga, in which Citizens vs Players/Visa residents, and made us root for them. But the netflix adaptation of s2 stuck with the main characters hence using guide characters for each battle (Chishiya in J of Hearts, Arisu and the gang during K of Spades, Ann's exploration), I kinda didn't liked it, but really loved the Netflix original which is Q of Spades.
@@loving.a.wolf_ it's available in any manga sites, it might be titled as "Alice in Borderland" or "Imawa no kuni no Alice". If you have the chance to buy the physical, it's highly encouraged.
@@4ricz813 Doudou is awesome 😭😭 but since the adaptation already used a side character game in s1 and put Arisu/Usagi in it I wasn't really surprised that they also did it in s2. At least Chishiya is a good fit for the game and YES the queen of spades game is amazing. I'll keep viewing the manga and adaptation as separate stories though cuz that each are similar enough but have very different vibes (especially bc in the manga you have a bigger focus on other ppl also trying to survive).
Arisu just kinda showing up at the game was random but I’m glad he’s back together with usagi and I agree the games for this season are a lot more intense
where Ann saw all the mountains means it's still Tokyo because at the end of the mountains there were mount Fuji, It's like Tokyo of another dimension or just the urban view is disappearing
My solution in the game of Queen of Spades is just gather in one place throughout the whole game, and just tag each other back when the red team's round is over, that is if everyone cooperates.

@@ShamShammie so true, i've seen endless comments under reactions of this episode where people are like "she's my favorite" "she's so badass" etc. and they completely gloss over the fact that she tried to assault Arisu. it's really sad that noone took that scene seriously just because Arisu's a guy. but I don't like her, I never got to like her even to the end and her flashback also didn't make me like her more. She slept with a guy who was in a relationship just for the thrill and she likes to rile people up and try to assault them when she's bored. she only cares about herself and her needs and wants and if other people don't want to cooperate that's their problem... i'm sorry but how is that a likable character?!

26:43 that’s scene references the “border” for a game. All of you must be familiar that every game like open world game has a border to keep the players from escaping (like GTA or Red Dead Redemption). That’s why in that scene its show as rocky mountains like that.
"lost a part of my own precious self" is prooobably not about Akane's foot, but rather the doctor's payment, yeah. it makes a lot of sense that Arisu found Usagi in that game as the Jack of Spades was cleared by Kuina and the King of Spades is an obvious no go, and Usagi would without a doubt be best suited to protect the kid without him being a problem in a Spades game. It's also just a very sweet moment regardless so even if it actually was random I'd still be cool with it. and yea Arizzu has more game than he should for a NEET lol, but I'm confident in this specific case the Queen of Spades is taking him from Usagi to try and prove her wrong more than just being outright down bad. man, this show is a thousand times better than the manga in every way, it's kinda unreal how every change has been a major improvement. almost flips the netflix adaptation meme on its head all by itself
Akane was in a critical condition is real world that's why her first game is a tough one. She survived meaning she has so much will to live. The game is tough and I think it should be rated more than just 7 of ♠️
I miss Doudou 😔 I've really gotten attached to the little family man😭😭 not to mention the game he gets introduced in is fire too and pretty cinematic, I can't believe they ditched it

Idk if this is a spoiler but the "collect the cards" was hatters lie to unite Sojurn *borderlands* each card has to be beaten once is the requirement not to be the one person with all the cards And as far as how long have the citizen's been there Kyuma said he's been in sojurn for 5 months before arisu

I may be reading to much into it but it seemed to be played for laughs because some of the friends I watched this with were chuckling at that scene though it wasn't funny at all. It seems to happen a lot in many asian dramas where when it's a girl or woman who's acting like a pervert, they try to make it look comical and it's kind of gross because it seems we're being conditioned to think it's okay or harmless when it's a woman being forceful. i guess they wanted to show perverts appear in all genders? i just wish they stop making it like a light-hearted or funny scene because people should know that it is never funny or okay for anyone to molest or make another feel uncomfortable by acting like a pervert. minus that uncomfortable scene, i actually like Heiya along with all the other characters in our final group-everyone is calculating, self-sufficient and strong, and no one is acting like an annoying helpless damsel.
