The fight scene with the king of Spades is an instant 10/10. Special shout outs to the choreographer who choreographed this masterpiece of a scene.

This is one of those episodes that reaction channels were made for. All of the emotions you guys had, I did the same thing during that fight. Dude was a terminator.
This episode was a violation to the squad they absolutely got there shit rocked.
The characters also can live/die based on their own will to live. For example, a character like niragi has a very strong will to live so it takes more to kill him. In contrast, many side characters can die in 1-2 shots if they don’t want to live anymore. It’ll make a bit more sense next episode
They all should have died. I understand this explanation but thwy still should have all died. At a stretch you can say the agunni pumpfake is fine because thats his gimmick but the rest should definitely be dead

I just want a season 3 and for it to be a happy slice of life season where they all meet up and find each other again, then maybe regain memories
What this show gets right is that they straight up would just kill the main characters and not hesitate to kill them, unlike other shows

I fr was mad when people survived. I like the characters, but the way they got shot and stabbed etc, they shouldn't even be moving let alone be alive.
You would be surprised how many people survived +30 stabs or +13 shots

You’ll realize why many people survived even if the situation was impossible for them to be, in the last episode where they’ll explain what the borderland truly is.
I agree that this is one of the best live actions out of a manga. Though in the manga, all these things never happened. Heiya, Aguni and another character (who was never included and introduced here in this series and was supposed to be the potential lover of Heiya; instead of Aguni) were all able to beat the King of Spades without the other protagonists. Arisu and Usagi just fought with the queen of hearts.
And the reason why the King of Spades game is to kill everyone, he remembers his friend who he killed to end his friend's suffering. He thought that by killing everyone, he would end their suffering. It was a little foreshadowed by Nigari at the beginning of the episode. Originally in the manga, it was explained that all of those face card masters were all once game players just like them. (This was never shown in the series)

Terminator shouldn't survive the explosion, as well as some of the action scenes were almost bollywood-ish level of absurdity, but i liked how brutal this episode was
