Only HIRAM EDSON s false vision KEEPS THE SDA CHURCH going otherwise it would have ceased to exist after the Great Disappointment in the 10 of October 1844.

We agree in that, but even when you read at the end of revelations 20:2 the Bible says that Satan will be bound for 1000 years. but the evangelical eschatology takes this 1000 years and makes it a part of a prophetic time that it is giving to the jews and the milleniium of those that did not accept Jesus and the anticrist, which is not the true interpretation of prophecy. The other problem with the evangelical though is that they ignore the old testament as if doesn't have any foundation to explaing our precent experience (in the new covenant) so everything is ignore. which is another great error of bible interpretetion. Satan, lucifer, the dragon, the serpent, the scapegoat, it doesn't matter what name you give it, will have to pay for all the sins he comitted because that is call Justice. Spot-on Deonte! This doctrine of sin-bearing is f I undational in God's economy. Satan knows this and it is why he is bound and determined to take as m a ny of God's children with him. The more people who bear their own sins, the less transference of sin is placed upon Satan Sin is atoned for by our belief in Jesus who takes our sin away, but it doesnt magically disappear. It is transferred to Satan for those who belive! He will suffer in the lake of fire until justice is completed! Ps 89:14 shows God is both righteousness and justice. Scripture states revenge is the Lord's.
What about Leviticus 14:49-53? There it says: Levitikus 14,51 (ESV): and shall take the cedarwood and the hyssop and the scarlet yarn, along with the live bird, and dip them in the blood of the bird that was killed and in the fresh water and sprinkle the house seven times. (…) Levitikus 14,53 (ESV): And he shall let the live bird go out of the city into the open country. So he shall make atonement for the house, and it shall be clean.” Some argue that this passage isn’t different to the one in Leviticus 16 where a different situation occurs, yet with a very similar procedure. I once had the Geneva Study Bible (German) and it says that Satan is the scapegoat hahahaha. The Bible is a Protestant study Bible, but not an SDA study Bible. I always wonder where people get the idea that we are the only ones who teach this.
I could say the most wonderful gospel/doctrine in the Bible is the Sanctuary. The sanctuary message is not just all about my sins or your sins, IT IS ALL ABOUT THE HEART OF THE FATHER WHO IS MORE THAN WILLING TO CLEANSE EVERYONE WHO IS WILLING TO BE PURIFIED. Thus, Abraham sacrificing his own son is one of the greatest object lessons that point to THE FATHER SACRIFICING HIS SON ON THE CROSS that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Jesus bears his people's sin, the ones who chose the.oivw according to His word. Satan will bear the sin of both God's people and those who did not choose him during their lifetime. This is definitely on my head scratcher list: 2 Peter 3:8 KJV But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. My theory for us young earth people who take 6000 years is given for the earth’s history for sin to run its course and bear its fruit to completion. The culmination being the second coming of Jesus. The events being a ‘lesson book’ of sorts for God’s sinless creatures. The last remaining 1000 years when Satan is bound until the second resurrection being a sabbath. 6 days work; sabbath 6000 years; sabbath (1000 years) This ‘week’ mirroring the literal week and the millennium is when the earth takes its sabbatical. Another example can be seen in Lev. 25:2-4 albeit, literal years and not prophetic. I take the 1000 years to be literal and not 1000 days, 1 day or 360,000 days. Like I said, it’s just a theory and I cannot directly prove this from scripture. -Blessings

@@PrayWithPurpose2023 have asked the same question. that question was asked on bible answers with Doug Batchlor and Jean Ross one night. the 1,000 years is after Christ' return, ending time here of earth, or there is no longer a need for prophetic time. it makes sense to me. continue in the faith and we shall find out.
Good question, the thousand years is mentioned in Rev. 20:2-7 in every verse and does not hint at any other time period prophetic or otherwise. That’s why I take it literal.
Two goats chosen for a "sin offering" or to be used in the day of atonement ceremony, this simply meant that two goats ("one for the Lord" and "the other for Azazel") were two symbols being used to communicate the two ways sin would be dealt with via the one ceremony; not that both were to be substitutionary sacrifices!! The two goats being spotless and without blemish simply meant they were to be perfect communicators of a very solemn message. If Jesus was to be represented by both goats in the ceremony, then both goats would be "for the Lord", and no need would be there to cast lots to determine the destinies of each goat; it would be a natural foregone conclusion that both goats would serve as two roles of one substitutionary sacrifice for the Lord. But that's NOT seen in Leviticus 16!

No sacrifice could be brought to the temple with a spot or blemish. So therefore the scapegoat would have to qualify to be sacrificed and his blood put on the mercy seat. Instead, the "luck of the draw" he becomes the scapegoat. So SATAN is perfect and without blemish. That is heresy. He has to be considered equal to the sacrificial lamb. Then according to the Day of Atonement, EGW states it began in 1844, and since Jesus hasn't returned, that day is still ongoing, at 180 years and counting. So that does away with 1 day = 1 year Prophectically.
Satan is not a sin bearing is about his own sins as well as those he caused. Jesus never died for satan or caused anyone to sin and would thus never carry satan's as a scapegoat. The purpose of satan carrying is for both him as the cause or sin and sin to be deployed for ever. If you then make Jesus a scapegoat is making him carry satan's sins as well as punishment for satan s teaching I find to be a satanic. If Jesus was to be a scapegoat it means he will have to die the second time and be resurrected again. What this further means is that we were meant to die two times. This means that his death at the cross was not enough. This is the serpent's language coming from people who see us as a cult.

My theory for us young earth people who take 6000 years is given for the earth’s history for sin to run its course and bear its fruit to completion. The culmination being the second coming of Jesus. The events being a ‘lesson book’ of sorts for God’s sinless creatures. The last remaining 1000 years when Satan is bound until the second resurrection being a sabbath.

6000 years; sabbath (1000 years)
This ‘week’ mirroring the literal week and the millennium is when the earth takes its sabbatical. Another example can be seen in Lev. 25:2-4 albeit, literal years and not prophetic. I take the 1000 years to be literal and not 1000 days, 1 day or 360,000 days. Like I said, it’s just a theory and I cannot directly prove this from scripture.

Good question, the thousand years is mentioned in Rev. 20:2-7 in every verse and does not hint at any other time period prophetic or otherwise. That’s why I take it literal.

Two goats chosen for a "sin offering" or to be used in the day of atonement ceremony, this simply meant that two goats ("one for the Lord" and "the other for Azazel") were two symbols being used to communicate the two ways sin would be dealt with via the one ceremony; not that both were to be substitutionary sacrifices!! The two goats being spotless and without blemish simply meant they were to be perfect communicators of a very solemn message. If Jesus was to be represented by both goats in the ceremony, then both goats would be "for the Lord", and no need would be there to cast lots to determine the destinies of each goat; it would be a natural foregone conclusion that both goats would serve as two roles of one substitutionary sacrifice for the Lord. But that's NOT seen in Leviticus 16!

No sacrifice could be brought to the temple with a spot or blemish. So therefore the scapegoat would have to qualify to be sacrificed and his blood put on the mercy seat. Instead, the "luck of the draw" he becomes the scapegoat. So SATAN is perfect and without blemish. That is heresy. He has to be considered equal to the sacrificial lamb.
Then according to the Day of Atonement, EGW states it began in 1844, and since Jesus hasn't returned, that day is still ongoing, at 180 years and counting. So that does away with 1 day = 1 year Prophectically.

Satan is not a sin bearing is about his own sins as well as those he caused. Jesus never died for satan or caused anyone to sin and would thus never carry satan's as a scapegoat.
The purpose of satan carrying is for both him as the cause or sin and sin to be deployed for ever. If you then make Jesus a scapegoat is making him carry satan's sins as well as punishment for satan s teaching I find to be a satanic.
If Jesus was to be a scapegoat it means he will have to die the second time and be resurrected again.
What this further means is that we were meant to die two times. This means that his death at the cross was not enough.
