Until people are genuinely converted by asking God to place HIS ONE LAW, containing Ten Commandments, from HIS HEART into our heart (Hebrews 8:10), then, attempting to understand Scripture , especially Divine Prophecy, will be according to the LAWLESS one, and NOT according to the LAW-ABIDING GODHEAD, particularly the Holy SPIRIT Who gives DISCERNMENT and CLARITY between truth and error..

Thank for this discussion, it is really helpful.
I have a verse that puzzle me. Myles constantly claim that "Within the vail" in OT always refers to the Holy of Holies. He gave several tons of verses which confirm his claim, but Number 18:6-7 puzzle me especially "The altar" meant(whether of sacrifice in the court or of incense in the Holy place and "within the vail" whether it refers to the Holy place or most Holy.
Again, number 18:7 seem to indicate that Aaron & his sons can simultaneously serve "within the vail" and before the altar.
If it means the Most Holy place, then his sons can't serve there since Aaron is still much alive and was still the High Priest.
That's my conundrum. I will be please to see what ADL says about that(Numbers 18).

No no Jesus is the antitype of the Lords Goat ! Who was sacrificed and died! Satan is the Scapegoat who does die ! But goes in to the wilderness, which is this earth after all the righteous are taken to heaven at the second advent of Christ, this earth is the wilderness during the 1,000 year ! Here satan is the scapegoat’s experience! This is all biblical according to Leviticus chapter 16 ! After Revelation chapter 20, satan and his fallen angels and all the lost of humanity will be cast in to the lake of fire ! This is the second death ! Christ died on the cross of Calvary and experienced the second death on our behalf !
Jesus, was separated from His Father for the very time because of His Love ( Agape) for the redeemed! So the Lords Goat was sacrificed for us on the cross for us ! Satan is punished for all the sins that he caused the masses of humanity of all time and the sins of one third of the fallen angels! Satan suffers long in the lake of fire ! He does not die, but stays on this planet as it becomes a huge wilderness! Which is typified as the scapegoat in the wilderness all this is mentioned in the great prophecy of Leviticus chapter 16 ! Now do you understand my brothers and sisters xx

One thing to add. The Lords’s goat also paid the price. What it cost Him, we don’t know but it must have been very great, since only He could pay it.

I am sorry but this doctrine cannot be drawn from Scripture alone in a straightforward fashion. It has to be assembled piecemeal. Even Hiram Edson did not come to this conclusion from Scripture alone without a special revelation in the cornfield, and later confirmed via a vision of Ellen White. This is why *no other Christians have ever come to this conclusion* in all of history of the Christian church.
Regarding the little horn, if Papal Rome is indeed the little horn of Daniel 8 during the latter part of the 2300 days, as SDAs claim, then what happened to papal Rome on October 22, 1844? Did the Papacy suddenly stop defiling the Sanctuary in 1844? Was it "broken without hand" (verse 25) in 1844? Why is there no event in papal history to coincide with the end of the 2300 days? Did any of the papal activities that SDAs use to identify it as the "little horn" cease in 1844? Did "compulsory unity in a visible church" end in 1844? Did "the authority of a visible head--the pope" end in 1844? Did "a priestly hierarchy" cease in 1844? Did "a system of salvation by works" stop in 1844? Did "the confessional and the sacrifice of the mass" stop in 1844?

Daniel and Revelation by Uriah Smith did come to this conclusion.

    • @Hiram_Bates
      @Hiram_Bates 2 года назад +4

@@anthonylangley6630 And of course Uriah Smith was a Seventh-day Adventist, and he had his doubts about the supposed visions of Ellen White.
Again no other Christian group holds to this doctrine for *it can't be deduced in a clear, straight forward, and unambiguous reading from Scripture.*

A view coming years after Christianity doesn't automatically make it moot. Otherwise the Bible refutes itself. The Bible clearly says that the book of Daniel will not be fully understood until the end of time. If your argument is it's a new view then therefore it's wrong then you have to accept the fact the book of Daniel will never be understood. Appealing to time is not an argument. The heavenly sanctuary is throughout scripture.

    • @Hiram_Bates

@@xintimidate If you look at my post above you'll see that I am arguing that nothing changed within Catholicism on the October 1844 date. The little horn of Daniel is supposedly the Roman Catholic church per Adventism, yet nothing became of Catholicism as per the prediction.
Unlike William Miller who admitted that he had been wrong, the early SDA followers of his predictions insisted that something must have occurred on the Oct 22, 1844 date. The date could not simply not be wrong rather the event must have been wrong, hence the investigative judgement doctrine was created to explain away the obvious error.
So we have millions of SDAs who believe whole heartedly in an invisible/spiritual event that has *no historical correspondence whatsoever*
Consider the implications of this type of "date setting" calculations, which Jesus Himself stated that we should not engage in. The Jehovah Witnesses have made similar date setting events that cannot be proved, yet they believe to this day.. For example, when the return of Christ did not occur in 1914 (as their impeccable calculations predicted) they stated that 1914 did not mark a literal "coming" of Christ but His invisible "presence." Only those with "with eyes of understanding" could perceive what was going on. So apparently in October of 1914, they say, Jesus cast Satan and his demons out of heaven to the vicinity of Earth, and this is what started World War I.

//I am sorry but this doctrine cannot be drawn from Scripture alone in a straightforward fashion. It has to be assembled piecemeal.//
No, it's not a piecemeal assembly. It's a pretty systematic doctrine that can be seen through a variety of books, pamphlets, scholarly works, etc. Any new doctrine takes time and effort to explain it in a cohesive way. It's been like that throughout history.
//Even Hiram Edson did not come to this conclusion from Scripture alone without a special revelation//
How is that any different from any time in history, especially the Bible? Prophets were given special revelation all the time.
//This is why no other Christians have ever come to this conclusion in all of history of the Christian church.//
Truth is progressive. How long did it take to see that Sola Scriptura, Baptism by immersion, Justification by faith, were actual truths? Just because the majority doesn't agree with it doesn't make something less true.
//Regarding the little horn, if Papal Rome is indeed the little horn of Daniel 8 during the latter part of the 2300 days, as SDAs claim, then what happened to papal Rome on October 22, 1844?//
The prophecy just said that the "sanctuary shall be cleansed." Are you assuming the cleansing of the sanctuary means that something needed to happen to papal Rome? Revelation 12-13 already deals with those details that Papal Rome would receive a wound and that wound would be healed.
//Was it "broken without hand" (verse 25) in 1844? Why is there no event in papal history to coincide with the end of the 2300 days? Did any of the papal activities that SDAs use to identify it as the "little horn" cease in 1844?//
By 1844, the papal rule was wounded; 1798 when the Napoleon regime overthrew the Papal power. Daniel 7 already established that detail.
//Did "compulsory unity in a visible church" end in 1844? Did "the authority of a visible head--the pope" end in 1844? Did "a priestly hierarchy" cease in 1844?//
The prophecy doesn't call for that to happen. Sounds more like Revelation 18, the fall of Babylon, which is a future prophecy from now.
//Did "a system of salvation by works" stop in 1844? Did "the confessional and the sacrifice of the mass" stop in 1844?//
By 1844, the truths of the Bible and the sanctuary was restored, many people left the Roman system through the Protestant Reformation. That was enough to restore what God needed to prepare a people to stand true to him at the time of the end post 1844.

William Miller admitted he was wrong, yet the SDA pioneers built upon this faulty foundation. This is why they have to defend it to this very day. They should have let this doctrine go years ago when it was front and center in their dialog.

The Adventist were right in their reckoning of the time prophecy. The only admittance of error by them was in the event. 1844 didn't fail, it was a glorious beginning of a new phase of Christ’s heavenly ministry as the earthly high priests ministered from the Holy to the Most Holy Place during the typical service. The mistake and disappointment of the disciples in thinking that Christ would set up an earthly kingdom at His death did not prevent the prophecy from being true.

William Miller and the Great Disappointment of 1844 was predicted in the Bible.
      Revelation 10:9-10.
However we are told, “thou shall prophecy again “
      This is what is happening.
      Jesus is Coming Again.

    • @1844.Failed
      @1844.Failed Год назад +2

@@eugeniamoyo8867 So nothing actually happened on October 23, 1844. If you assert that something happened in the "heavenly realm" you are making an appeal to something that is unverifiable and has no historical correspondence.
The investigative judgement is based on "date setting" calculations, which Jesus Himself stated that we should not engage in. Act 1:7 He said to them, *“It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority"* . Every time someone has made a prediction for Christ's return they have been 100% wrong and thus were *not being guided by the Holy Spirit* . Yet this forbidden date setting is the very foundation on which Seventh-day Adventism was formed. To say that Miller had the correct date but wrong event is simply an attempt to save-face.
