So much respect for Bill for his knowledge & talent! You are blessed to have his help. People's abilities amaze me! Great job & thanks for taking care of Bex. Makes me miss my Dad who always took care of my mechanical needs. Just wish he had taught me how to fix more things by myself.
Now there's a guy who has worked on a car or two in his day. Know exactly how to use the ratchet strap and jack to his advantage, and just the right amount of finesse on the hammer to get a bolt to cooperate. Improvement should help. Thanks for sharing this video..........
Great mechanic 😀I’m glad you’ve got a safer vehicle 👍 I enjoyed watching him solve each problem he knows what he’s doing . Be careful . Keep on trucking Cathy O
Hi from Tennessee. Great video and it wasn't to long. Very informative. Thanks so much for sharing. Have a fantastic day and can't wait to you post another video.
It is such a blessing and joy to watch a competent, skilled professional help you out like this, Bex! A true expert with a lifetime of experience, a mechanic like this is such a rarity and a true gem-of-a-person in these trying and deceitful times... God bless him abundantly always for helping you like this! When they have done tests on stressful events in peoples lives, death and divorce are the highest, but believe it or not, car repairs is very high on the list of most stressful life circumstances! To have the peace of mind of knowing that my car could be taken care of by a trusted and reliable individual would be a dream come true! You are blessed, Bex!
Man this guy knows his stuff. It's a pleasure to watch a good mechanic at work. Ask him if he knows about the Anti seize on the tool chest drawers? Cheers
Anti seize is used on threads of bolts. Your tool chest drawer just needs a spray lubricant. Some tool chest drawers might have small ball bearings in them and anti sieze it way too thick, as it is a paste, to function as a good lubricant for them. What anti sieze does is prevent a situation known as galling from binding the threads on a bolt to the threads it is inserted into. You can look up what "galling"is in a web search so you have and understanding of how it happens.
@@karincorbin2355 it wasn't used on the glides. They smeared the Anti seize under the lip of the handles. You couldn't see it standing in front of it. When you went to open any drawer your fingers got covered in the crap. But thanks for the grease lesson.
Wow the CRV has a really nice stance with the new rear suspension! And that picture is absolutely amazing! I use to watch you ages ago and couldn't get into my account so lost a lot of channels I was subbed to. Glad I found you again, hope all is well Bex!
If you can, I would suggest you order a 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV. GM has lowered the price and as an Oregon resident you get a $7500 cash rebate if you are lower income. There is an aftermarket class 2 hitch available for it, and the car has 200 horsepower. Lots of torque. Charging infrastructure being built out all over the US.
the suspensions of vehicles used in the camping lifestyle seem to be the main thing that needs specialty aftermarket beefed-up parts. thanks for the informative video.
Bex, I was curious how many miles on your CR-V, 257,000 is pretty impressive. Our 2009 CR-V has 185,000 but we don’t tow with it. It’s pretty impressive that your friend can do repairs in the field like that.
Bex, where in the world have you been? Dropping off the radar without a word is troubling among subscribers. If you would check in, that would be Cool 😎 Hope you are well
This shows why a good reliable and knowledgable mechanic is worth his weight in gold! Bravo to your friend!
Great comment!! I read to Bill and he smiles. Thank you so much.

Awesome. What a cool upgrade. That car has good to you & taking good care of it is a good investment.
Great video, gives me the confidence to take on this job myself.
nice you have a friend like Bill to help out on auto repair, as that can be pricey, I find the repairs you do on the car, trailer very interesting.
I've been thinking about doing an upgrade on my suspension as well. Thanks for this timely video!

With the stiffer rear springs, had the ride changed?
Yes, because my suspension was shot and was easy to bottom out. But also no, because the suspension was always on the stiff side and it still is.
💛💛💛
I miss my Honda crv.
How do you find these great people just when you need them!?
Hi. How did the Sumpsprings work out?
So your rear end is sagging ?
Not any more since I firmed it up!
;-)
Do they have a spacer for the front?
Both companies have lift kits but only Aerogenics has a 1 inch front spacer.
Lucky you, I was mechanic but your health is not forever, stopped work then stopped doing freinds cars, then stopped doing my car.
