Bex, You have amazing friends with Kristofer & Kelli + their beautiful pup Coya💖 Kristofer has REALLY come a long way on developing his homestead! Kelli has added so many homey touches making it into the prairie home Kristofer was aiming for it to be💓 It's fun to see y'all get together
I enjoyed seeing Kristofer hauling his water. It reminded me of when I did the same back in 71. I had three 55 gallon barrels in my VW bus. After 5 years, I finally got a well.
Where there’s a will…there’s a way. It appears your homestead is functional and affordable with personal added touches to make it home-sweet-home although I’d miss some shade trees. 🏡 👏
Wow. What a nice friend. I always wondered how people filled the water tanks on a regular basis (on a trailer of course). Lots of ingenious homestead devices. Bex. Thanks for sharing.
🌻 Bex - Nice to see you’re doing okay in the outback; wish you filmed more often. Hope you’re enjoying the Memorial Day weekend amongst friends and beautiful country settings.
Hi Bex!Just found your channel. What gems you, Kristofer and Kelli and Coya and Stella are. Very interesting and ingenious homestead they have out there. I too have been considering a similar situation. The crane flock footage at the end really was stunning. Took my breath away. You captured the beauty and ruggedness of homesteading off-grid with poetic sweetness. Really blew me away with that stunning bit of bird footage. Keep up the great work you guys. You have a new subscriber in me!
OMG SOOOOO many good ideas. I live off grid as well. You can come to my channel and see my setup but mine is temporary until I can get a rig and build it out. I plan to buy some land out west just like that and do a tiny house for a west home base. Kristofer is doing a wonderful job living the life and seems really happy. 😊
I’ve been watching Kristopher since he lived in Frankie. All of this homestead was due to hard work and ingenuity plus a willingness to roll with the punches. Like when the barn was delivered by a newbie who ran into Kristopher’s car. Yikes! Thanks for adding subscribers to his channel.
Hello Bex, Thanks for the video, Kristofer' has done a great job with his homestead; I was wondering where his partner Kelly is? She isn't in the video.

Very informative and he is very creative. Thank you both for sharing this life style. Are you thinking about homesteading Bex? I have watched Aussia turn her place into a little paradise. I have also seen a woman homesteading on limited income. I am impressed with their will and hard work to do/get what they need. 🙏✌️🌎💞
Yes, I have thought it would be nice to have a little place where I could stay indefinitely if I wanted. Problem is, I still want to travel around so I wouldn't be able to leave anything there for fear it would be stolen. So I'll keep to using my friends land for the time being.
@@BexCatherder thank God you have good friends. I find at my age-I have outlived most of mine. Not complaining just observation-may God bless you in your journies Bex. I have dreamed of traveling in a van since I was in high school. My fixed income keeps me from purchasing a vehicle not to mention the cost of fuel. I look forward to all the videos of your nomadic tribe to keep my hopes up. Thank you so very much for sharing ❣️. 🙏✌️🌎💞
Those are right down the road from Kristofer. They were so loud in the evenings. Thankfully, they are only there for a couple of months when they migrate.

Some people can get water delivered, like my friend Ausia does at her homestead. But then you have to pay a little extra.

Thank you Bex. Lovely.
I like this work with what you can get or got. Don't need anything fancy.✌️
Yes, me too. Much of the wood he used on his fence is free or reclaimed.
I subscribed to their channel, I enjoy seeing peoples journey.
If I could, I would definitely do this. Thanks for sharing.

She did not want to be filmed, which I can understand.
@@BexCatherder , Ok, That's understandable, I wish them both the very best.
You need to get drought and heat tolerant trees for shade
How does one, just get trees.

this was so informative about how they live..its great lots of work but off grid..were those birds Sand cranes?
Good for him! Thanks ❤️
Was the water free?
Great video good job love your videos
Thank you. I'm glad he was up for it so I could practice filming someone else and editing. :-)
❤
Does Kristofer have a vlog on how the Berkey like filter was constructed?
um looks like power on his roof lol
Curious, Is the water free? And how often does he have to fill up?
What kind of grill is that ? Propane?
Yes it's a regular propane
Oh Or did u mean her grill?
Is there a fee for the water?
$9 for every 1000 gal
Hm
