I've got a 2" spacer kit for my 05' CRV, the spacers are for the struts only. Tyres are 215/65/16, so stock, no rubbing, no wobble, no issues. Check alignment and wheel balance. 100mph and no problems.
@@kevindiazzzz still factory after 18 years and 300kkm. I've only changed rear springs, the left one broke. The test is still factory and is going strong. But od I have to change, it would be KYB, had them on Sorento 1gen, good struts.
I installed the 1.5 inch lift kit on my 04 Crv. I had to get the subframe drop and the camber adjustment kit in order for everything to line up and get an alignment done properly. It was a pain for me but I am happy with the ending result. No drive issues or axle wobble.
I have the same setup as yours, and my crv is not bumpy at all. The ride is smoother, and the front tires does not rub, it might be the brand you have on. I still get good gas mileage on mine, as long as you get your alignment on point.

If you would like a better ride quality on your crv, I’d recommend a subframe lowering kit for the front and a spacer for the rear trailing arm for the rear to help your suspension articulate .

I dont want the subframe kit. Just lift 😅 any help on what I should go for
Wanting to lift my 2000 crv was going to start with new wheels and tires not sure what im going to need as my lift kit is going to take a bit to come in and i dont wanna get screwed over at a shop with the tires and wheels since i can just go pick them up. As an update to this I got spacers for the front and read additionally I had to get the following to get the allignment right I had to get Camber adjustment bolts On the rear my tyres are fine with the lift and the cambers bolts. However, on the front the nuts that hold the lift spacers in keep coming loose so I am going to change them out with Nyloc nuts today. I bought the Aerogenics lift spacers next time I'll get a different set for the fronts I think.
I've heard that my tires will fit the stock 2nd gen Crv but they will rub on the fender liners. My tires rubbed when turned hard left or right after the lift so I ended up cutting the fender lining.

Abbott to dude I want to lift a ep3 civic I hurd the struts the same on the top mounts triangle bolt patern I've not seen any yanks do a 7th gen si or any thing ect any info you know be a grate help
@@mcnorm4023 on the top strut you have 3 offset nuts will hafto have a look at my spairs for measurements. There should be technical dater of the measurements online with a bit of searching as I usto get the print off at honda with diagrams

I have wobble in acceleration on my 2003 crv, i know its the front axle. I have a 1 inch lift kit.

It was most likely the wheel spacers causing the rubbing. If you only got rubbing in reverse that indicates bad control arm bushing.
Yeah I had to down size my tires in the 2015 tacoma because of rubbing.
What size were the bigger tires?

My 97 sits a little higher in the front and I would think I need to go like 1” in front a 1 1/2” in the rear what do you think.

I have a truck so large lift isn't really needed as my $900 1997 crv got just to Carry dogs , pickup stuff
i have the same wheels and do not experience rubbing like that. the front tire rubbing the fender is caused by the spacers.
do you have upgrades on your engine after you lift your crv or its just the lifting kits you added? also does it add more gas consumption?
My crv is stock other than the lift kit and tires. Yeah the bigger tires did lower the mpg.

You can run this set up without wheel spacers. I removed mine a while ago.

So far only have the 1.5 inch HRG spacer lift kit. The rest is stock.

Thay can’t take a lift without damaging it in the long run if around 50mm with all the gear from HRG kits
