I think it's a 2nd gen. 2002-2004. The 2005 model had a few changes, including making the doors solid colored... no more dark rubber on the doors.

Stock ground clearance on a 2nd Gen is amazing. The 3rd and 4th Gen are noticeable lower. Idk why Honda did that.

I have a 2002 Honda Civic LX Coupe I had quit the time with Sensors I replaced the Crankshaft sensor with a after market sensor it would not start so I put the old one back on it started so i ordered an OEM HONDA Sensor no problems had the same thing happen with camshaft sensor buy OEM. The Drivers side door window switch went bad. Could not find aftermarket switch and the oem was outrageous so i tapped into the wires and put a rocker switch on the door panel works well.

Looks great. I need to do something similar but I don't have a factory switch. I noticed your head lights need to be restored. I used a kit from advanced auto. I only needed a spray bottle for water. Now mine look like new the kit has a uv protection spray as well.

No major issues because its a 2nd gen.. change the oil every 3k miles with full synthetic, might seem excessive but oil is cheap and clean oil never blew up a motor. All drain and fill the diff and transmission every 20k

Most of that stuff is easy to fix eBay or junkyard I just replaced all the bulbs in my cluster and got lock actuators off Amazon and RockAuto has a complete AC kit

I had the same door lock issue, I fixed the issue by replacing the driver door lock actuator. It wasn't terrible and the part was cheap, but my 03 got totaled just a few days later

The new Prius has 200 hp. I would love an affordable MR2 with 200hp! For cost savings it can even be FWD. It will be a great city car that you can have some weekend fun with. Unless they have a family, most people drive alone or with a maximum one passenger. If Toyota keeps the car affordable it can even be a second car in a household. The wife can have the SUV for going to Starbucks and taking the kids to school while the man can daily the MR2.
