I found a slight mistake Aladdin wished he was a prince but at the end of the movie he becomes a prince when get married does that mean his first wish didn't count
I did see one mistake! The cave says “only one may enter”, but Abu enters with him. If he didn’t count as a person entering, then why did he count when he took the jewel?
I think the cave lets Abu in because he belongs to Aladdin. If it was just a random monkey Aladdin has never seen before, then maybe the cave wouldnt let him in He was just allowed to get in because he is Aladdins monkey. but he still isnt allowed to take anything. I hope this makes sense.😊
I was actually very surprised how Will Smith handled the role of the genie 🧞♂️. I was actually really happy with the out come.. he didn’t copy willams work, and he managed to still keep the genie as a fun loving character.. very happy with the work he did.
Robin Williams made the genie his own, and didn’t use anybody else’s comedic style. Will Smith honored the role without insulting Robin by replicating like Robin didn’t do it well enough.
Princess Jasmine :I will go to get bread Princess helper : for the Jam Genie : you know Aladin I have been in the lamp for 100,0000 but I rather stay there but not to be with you in this moment Prince Ali :😶😶😶
Aladdin: "You will never be as powerful as the Genie!" Jaffar: "Oh? Then my last wish is this: Genie, I want you to be free!" Genie looses his powers and becomes human. Jaffar: "Now then, brat, who is the most powerful Sorcerer on earth?" Aladdin: "Damn!"
That’s because it’s distracting, let’s say Pocahontas for example. Her people dont speak English but they still do, so it’s nicer for us to listen to. If they’re saying something that isn’t really important they talk in their own language, to remind us that they aren’t actually speaking English.
They're actually speaking Arabic (well, at least we should imagine that) and when they have an accent while speaking english, it's like arabs having an accent while speaking arabic. ...in my opinion, the only negative thing about the movie😅
Keery Windle is it done differently on Fridays? Or more commonly? I know Friday is the cultural holiday as opposed to Sunday but how is that relevant to the greeting? Sorry if it sounds like a stupid question I’ve just not gotten much clarity from trying to google it
@@hannahmarieartistry4603 Salaam's just greeting between Muslims. Here, I guess it refers to the greetings between them on their holy day (when they gather at mosques on Friday)
In the original it says brush up your sunday salam. Christians go to church on sunday . Muslims go every day actually but friday is special. So friday salam makes much more sense.
That was a great change. The original Jasmin is very pretty. It was very, "Oh poor me. I have a horrible royal life." I like that she became more interested in using her royalty to help the people rather than become them.
The new version portrays Jasmine as being more empowered! She wants what's best for her people and doesn't let gender stop her from realizing her dreams to become sultan.
@@scopolamin1 what? the opposite happens he is free therefore he becomes human is one of the mistakes I think was fixed from the animated movie, when the genie became free there were no consequences he just went to Disneyland like he is free to use his genie powers for whatever he wants the whole point of Jafar's defeat was that amazing cosmic powers come with the price of your freedom so having Genie at the end with those powers and freedom defeared the point for me.
Marissa Walls oh that’s funny, I thought the animated version did that part better 😂. I thought it made more sense for Aladdin to just pretend unconvinced that the genie COULD get them out rather than actually saying it without rubbing the lamp. Because later he really wasn’t rubbing the lamp when the genie saved him underwater.
@@gabriellagonzales4363 Rubbing the lamp while making the wish wasn't required in the original animated version. However, it was required to use the words, "I wish," which Aladdin specifically avoids using when tricking Genie in the animated version, which I agree is the better version of the trick.
In animation, Aladdin was able to trick Genie by playing into his "ego" Genie: "I'm an all-powerful Genie" Aladdin: "Huh, I bet you can't even get us out of here." Whereas in live-action, Genie appeared to have a certain "low expectation" about human-kind. He just wants to get the whole "make-your-three-wishes-and-be-done-with-it" routine ended. Which is how Aladdin is able to trick the Genie into escaping the cave. Genie: "The more wishes you have, the more you want." Aladdin: "That's not me." Genie: "We'll see..."
Yeah to add to that is the "Friend Like Me" sequence -- the first genie couldn't wait to tell Aladdin how powerful he is. -- the 2019 genie started out simple, and only went to the big number when he saw how shocked Aladdin still was. He wasn't really overexcited, he just wants to get the whole wish thing over with.

@@shakilove8221 Prejudice in social media is very common. The sad thing is, that those people actually look on their prejudices as normal valid opinions, which nobody has a right to criticize.
however in the movie when aladdin asked what his wish would be, genie answered he wanted to be free, just like other people and travel around the world (sorry if i was mistaken) and genie grant wishes just as how he himself interpret it. just as the narrator in this video said, when jafar asked to be the most powerful being, genie interpreted as negative as possible and made jafar a genie, and when aladdin wished genie to be free, he did just exactly what he had in mind about a free being: human.
Also earlier in the movie, Genie claims to be the most powerful being in the universe, so Jafar's final wish makes sense for him to become a Genie himself
What is more powerful than a genie? The person who put the curse on the genie. Only idiots would think that the genie is the most powerful being in the universe. Which is exactly why this movie actually sucks. They think they are fixing issues, but they are creating new ones.
@@CaseyCharles According to Islamic legends it was King Solomon who imprisoned the wicked desert spirits known as Jinns into lamps and turned them into slaves. He did this not through sheer might but by using his wits and cunning.
Priceless scene. "Yam Jams!" "Please move away from the jams" And an underrated part Jafar's resting bitch face!! Hahahaha. I loved the new sexy but smooth talking Jafar, sue me!
Also, there is lyrics change in Prince Ali. It was "Heard your princess was a sight lovely to see!" And now It's "Heard your princess was hot! Where is sheeee?"
Honestly the fact that jafar wished to be a djinni is meant to show that he is so power hungry that he's not thinking rationally Ok I feel I should point out that in medieval middle eastern countries chopping off thieves hands was a real practice. It's like saying that it's a stereotype that the inquisition was an oranization of brutal zealots.
Evil Betty so that could have been to strike fear lmao he simply told her that’s what would happen and the only times it would be passed and okay if she did it was if she was poor or starving and sadly SHES A PRINCESS SHE AINT POOR NOR STARVING
I did like that they fixed a lot of the plot holes in the animated ones. It shows that not only do they know the source material, but they care enough about it make it better
When you say "source material" do you mean the original animated film or the actual story? If you meant the film then yes, but if you meant the story then no. The story of Aladdin that the movie is loosely based on is called Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp and was not originally part of the 1001 Arabian Nights. It takes place in China and the evil sorcerer lives in Africa. He's not an orphan, he and his mother are poor, he's a pervert, and does some pretty terrible things in order to get the princess. Three wish rule doesn't exist, he treats the genie pretty horribly and is all around a terrible person.
NarnianGypsy The remake has MORE mistakes than the original! They only fixed one mistake (number 7 in this list). All the other things mentioned in this list are not mistakes or mistakes they didn’t fix! And they actually managed to ADD some major plot holes in the remake that didn’t even exist in the original! 😂 Unbelievable. Like, how the hell was the genie able to make Carpet end up in the end of the world while being Jafars servant? So you can’t take someone/something out of the water without your master wishing for it, but you can do magic on Carpet so it ends up in the end of the world behind your masters back?? And when Jasmine takes the lamp from Jafar and then they’re chased by Iago, there was several times during that scene when they (Aladdin and company) had the lamp, when you have the lamp why don’t you just rub it? And you would think that during “A whole new world” they didn’t visit Greece China etc because that wouldn’t be reasonable to use in live action form, but no, because then they did that in the end of the movie anyway when Carpet flies with Aladdin from the end of the world back to Agrabah. And before Jafar pushes Aladdin into the water he says something like “if you have the lamp you will come shooting out of the water and if you don’t have it you’ll just die, either way I’ll find out”, that made no sense. Even if Aladdin does have the lamp, the only way the lamp can save him in that moment is if it is physically with him! And the genie uses his powers to fix Carpet in the end without anyone wishing for it! It’s like people were high and not thinking at all while making this movie.
Almost all Disney Princesses are 15 or 16. The plot of Sleeping Beauty revolved around Aurora's 16th birthday and Ariel famously shouted at King Triton that she was not a child, but that she was already 16. It's believed that Snow White was even younger at around 14 or 15.
I don understand why Aladin had to make a wish to be resued when drowing .. All the genie had to do was move him, which he did many times like the time he made Aladin dance or when he moved him closer to Jasmine. The Genie even fixed the carpet without it asking for it .
Genie moving him was to help him with his prince wish and was him being nice. as for saving him, that falls under a different situation and he technically wasint supost to. finally, him fixing carpet and undoing some things was because he felt bad as most of it was his fault so he was fixing the mistake free of charge. at least that's how I see it.
@@redwelch7547 I would agree too, dancing and the map situation all fell under the first wish, I would say that the first wish should have given him basic Royalty knowledge on the practices surrounding all things Royal. Fixing the Carpet I would say was a personal thing, Genie and Carpet are friends, there is no gain other than it's his oldest friend, since the "wish" requires verbal contracts, there can be no abuse. I do however think that the 2nd wish water scene is still BS, Aladdin is unable to actually make the wish, the contract sounds very suspicious and I'd have to pause to read it, but I don't think it counts.
Not really. They pretty much did the same thing as the first movie, but in a slightly different way. Don't see how moving an unconscious person's hand on a contract is any different than nodding the head of an unconscious person.
@@JonSmith-hk1bq [SPOILERS BELOW]] in the live action remake, when aladdin is revived after the rescue, the genie actually tells him it cost him one wish. aladdin then says it doesn't matter and he's just grateful to be alive.
@@august5250 To say he "only voiced" the Genie is to do a discredit to voice acting in general. Voice acting is just as difficult as "normal" acting, and is simply challenging in different ways. And I, for one, will always hold Robin's performance head and shoulders above this one, as good as it may have been.
Anyone that plays D&D can tell you that wishes always come with a price. For example, if you wish to be rich you'll come home to find a lawyer at your door to inform you that someone you cared about deeply has died but they willed to a small fortune.
Ali was never intended to be FROM Ababwa in the original. Ababwa was his surname. If he was supposed to be from Ababwa in the original, he would have been addressed as "Prince Ali *of* Ababwa". That's why Aladdin doesn't give Jafar an answer when he asks, "Just WHERE did you say you were from?" Aladdin answers, "Oh, much further than you've traveled, I'm sure," because he never said where he was from. So the question being fixed isn't "where is Ababwa", it's "where is Prince Ali from". I'm sorry to quibble so much and I don't mean to be rude or confrontational, I've just been a hardcore fan of the franchise since it first released when I was 8 and I've been part of the online fandom for 20 years. You know how it goes with fandom passion. lol
Not to bash what you're saying, but it does go along with how modern the original Aladdin was since no one started using surnames until 1066 in Normandy (England). Middle Eastern rulers would be known by first their name and where they come from. Also, Ababwa could also be referenced to a ruler's father's name if they want to be realistic. So there are several ways to realistically interpret it. But not introducing the place where you come from could be considered rude when you intend to court a sultan's daughter. So I believe that's why in the newer movie they called Ababwa a location. Not to say that the newer Aladdin isn't modern as well.

I FOREVER WILL LOVE ROBIN WILLIAMS but Will Smith did an amazing job in creating a genie that still satisfies the plot and actually shows a connection between Aladdin and the Genie in the sense that he listens more to what he has to say

@@bubby14 I thought I was the only one who noticed that. I loved it too! I loved how he doesn't really care that much if Aladdin doesn't set him free for his final wish. He said that its all about Aladdin after all and its not about him.
This movie definitely gave Jasmine her own arc. Even the Sultan was smart and not like a bumbling baffun. I think Genie sacrificed a wish to save Aladdin. He kind of did bend the rules in the movie just like the Animated story. The travel around Agraba was beautiful and just focusing on that was perfect.
Jasmine was still a better character in the original. Her motives were more understandable, she had a better chemistry with Aladdin and honestly, her desire to simply be treated as a human being fits the narrative more than desiring to rule a nation. After all, the story is about two individuals longing to express their freedom.

Yes!! Especially in the first one where Jafar didn’t even see her pick up the lamp. She could have easily picked it up and whisper “I wish for jafar to disappear or never have been born or *something*” I thought the rule was whoever had the lamp control the genie. So she had the lamp- she controls the genie. Even same thing with Eago. I’m confused at why he didn’t think to use a few wishes for himself before giving it to jafar.
I think its bcoz jasmine wanted aladdin to use his last wish to eliminate jafar or something like that...she already is a princess and didnt want anything else for herself so she wanted aladdin to do the right thing and become a hero...but instead aladdin used his intelligence to capture jafar and saved the last wish so that he could set his genie free...

Uh, not to all us fans period an animation movie of the time.. Being politicize and kind of corrected with "gray" area.... which means anything can be done outside of a rules or physics.... That's actually funny to say but many will get my point
Number 3 makes sense, but Animated Jafar was way too desperate and insane to think about how to word his wish. The calm, cool, and inhumanly collected live action Jafar was able to think right, not being completely batshit insane. So, rather than not knowing that being a genie would’ve caused him to suffer a genie’s fate, 2019 Jafar knew what he was doing. Albeit, he knew too much of what he was doing. Also, 4:36 is giving me weird Black Adam vibes
I agree. I like the live action Jafar because he's smarter. In the animation he's seen to be cunning, deceitful and intelligent but yet he gets tricked like some flunkie by a kid. It makes sense he would be smart enough to know that becoming a genie means imprisonment forever.
One change I really liked was freeing the genie. In the original 1992 Aladdin, the genie is free from his binds but still retains all of his power. Basically if he were evil like Jafar, he’d be allowed to destroy and conquer anything he wants without the restrictions genies have. In the live action version, when he’s freed, he loses his power and becomes human. This makes a lot more sense for the rules of being a genie.
When I saw the soundtrack list for the first time I immediately noticed it didn't have the Prince Ali Reprise. I was disappointed. It was one of my favorites from the original.

I completely disagree, obviously the seduction scene was bad for the fact she was supposed to be 15 but the speechless song was a stretch to reference the old movie.
While I agree that the song and the idea is great, I really didn't like the scene they made out of it. As it's all inside Jasmines mind it just doesn't fit the overall tone and style of the film. But as I'm not sure how they could have made this scene more fitting, I can go with it.
@@dukelorange748 we all do, bud. However, Will Smith's performance as Genie was stellar as he brought himself into the role. Not trying to compete with Robin Williams but to respect his approach.
You didn’t mention that Aladdin did not tell genie his name before the song so he asks during the song in the live action because rob Williams said his name and didn’t know it in the first place
No, Genie (Robin Williams) DID know Aladdin's name coz he asked Aladdin for his name BEFORE he sang Friend Like Me. Remember when Genie was asking Aladdin "Can I call you Al? Or maybe Din? Or what about Ladi?" In the remake Genie didn't ask for his name until the song.
I don't think that Jafar wishing to be a genie in the original was a mistake at all. He was obviously drunk on power and hungry for more, but at the same time very jealous and coveting of the genie's power, because he's continually confronted with it...
In a sense, that change makes the GENIE, not Aladdin, the hero of the movie. He's the one that outsmarts the villain. Aladdin is just sort of.. there, at that point.
I get that but at the same time Jafar is shown to be a highly intelligent man. Surely if he knew of the genie's existence he would have known making himself a genie would be a dumb move.

Jafar wanting to be the most powerful being was a wish and it was very clever of Aladdin to manipulate the wish. Fun fact: the genie is voiced by Homer Simpson(well, his voiceactor) in Return of Jafar because Robin Williams had a falling out with Disney because he asked them not to use his performance to sell merchandise(he didn't want to be part of the capitalist machine) and Disney, being Disney, did just that.

❤ I love the scene how Prince Ali jumped to terrace and suddenly he came back riding on his Magic Carpet and asking Princes Jasmin to come with him and he said "Do you trust me?" ❤
I noticed in Friend like Me the genie said “Mr., say what’s your name?” instead of “Mr. Aladdin Sir” to show that he didn’t know Aladdin’s name yet since they were just meeting. I thought that was a nice, subtle fix as well!
Genie literally asks Aladdin's name in the original like 20 secs after he comes out of the lamp. He even gives the nickname to Aladdin asap. That1s not a fix as it was never an issue.
@@Paraldine13 That's just basic editing to how the new story-line is, but making it look like original made a mistake by mentioning Aladdin's name in the song is quite a bit weird to me.
It adds depth to the scene and the characters. Originally, aladdin immediately assumes jasmine can't do it, in live action it gives a chance for aladdin to believe in jasmine and encourage her. In og, jasmine jumps without any problem which seems inconsistent and flat given she has never left her Palace ever and even needed raja's help to climb a wall. In the live action, the hesitation helps to show jasmine's strength and determination and ties into her wanting to be a leader and sultan. Like hey I have fears and obstacles but I can overcome them and she takes the leap because she believes in herself. Lastly, it adds anticipation because in the og the couple isn't being chased. So the scene is just a light hearted little flirty moment between them. In the live action the nervousness of jasmine and aladdin's encouragement adds to the scene cause you're in your seat like is she gonna jump is she gonna jump quick they're coming instead of like oh they've already jumped and ran off. Well then... :) omg I love this movie too much that I wrote this whole paragraph dissecting 30 seconds of a scene. Sorry!!
While I do think the original line is better and flows a bit better, I do have to respect that this is one of the many things that's done for Will Smith to be his own genie rather than copying Robin Williams, which would have failed miserably. Plus, it's not a bad line at all and matches the new genie's personality perfectly.
The acting was horrible. Are you kidding me? Is was lackluster. The only good acting was Will Smith. I did like Jasmine singing. The CGI didn't matter to me, but that was rough.

The grey area explanation doesn’t correct the issue. Genie created the document in the moment and signed it with Aladdin’s hand, while he was incapable of consenting to the wish, therefore, genie STILL technically stole that wish from Aladdin, only now we are simply capable of making a longer argument. I spotted other issues as well.
Great job! I'd also point out that in the original film Aladdin pretends way too well to be a prince despite his humble and poor origins. Instead in this remake Prince Ali looks more uncomfortable because he actually doesn't know how to behave, so I definitely appreciated this change! Well done Guy and Mena!
When I went to this movie yesterday I noticed that, when they are just out of the cave that the magic carpet is building the Disney castle and then sprinkles the sand over it just as the sparkles in the opening scenes of Disney!
I agree. He’s a poor thief. Why would he have both a shirt and a vest? In the original, Aladdin only stole what he NEEDED. Now he’s gotta steal something he doesn’t need just to be more “politically correct”?
I don't consider any of the costume changes to be improvements at all. I miss Aladdin and Jasmine's iconic outfits! The new outfits suck (at least by comparison)!
All the people here taking it seriously and missing the point that you just meant the actor who plays him is hot and should be bare chested more often xD
they fixed the "who the peddler is" in the third movie. which was actually pretty good. I thought it was obvious though, the cloths and beard match the genie. also in Persian folklore genies are djinn, and yes you have to be spesific with wording your wish or face the consequences.

So we care so much about realism that we have to make the magic carpet ride cover less area.......yet Aladdin and Jasmine have no seat belts on (most likely because it wouldn’t “look as pretty”) even though “realistically” they would’ve fallen off ages ago? This is the problem with the obsession with photorealism and realism. We lose all the great things in the name of realism, yet it’s clear that they themselves are willing to compromise realism for the sake of aesthetics. There’s nothing wrong with photorealism within itself, but acting like having photorealism and more esoteric realistic elements (without thinking through the multiple plot holes and lack of logic that comes from trying to address them) automatically makes a film better or great *is* a problem.
I like that they made some things more realistic, like the clothes for example. But they shouldn't have changed the scene with the stealing or the texts about cutting off ears and having slaves. Sure, those are bad things, but that is how it was in many parts of the world back then. So it would have been just realistic.
Yea but you have to remember that this is still a Disney movie and meant for kids more than adults so they’re probably gonna be more careful with what they include and what they don’t

Omg it genius
Every character has Arabian accents but the main characters 😂🤷🏽♀️
Ebiere Izonritei mena can speak arabic fluently except not in this movie.
I don't really mind that , actually i'm arab and i'm pretty sure i don't have any accent at least an "arabic" accent
Actually “Aladdin” had an accent as well. “Jasmine” is American so doesn’t have an accent. She was basically the only one without the accent.
How could you forget the most obvious one: they added the explanation that no one can recognize that Prince Ali is Aladdin due to Genie magic.

@@gabriellagonzales4363 Rubbing the lamp while making the wish wasn't required in the original animated version. However, it was required to use the words, "I wish," which Aladdin specifically avoids using when tricking Genie in the animated version, which I agree is the better version of the trick.
In animation, Aladdin was able to trick Genie by playing into his "ego"
Genie: "I'm an all-powerful Genie"
Aladdin: "Huh, I bet you can't even get us out of here."
Whereas in live-action, Genie appeared to have a certain "low expectation" about human-kind. He just wants to get the whole "make-your-three-wishes-and-be-done-with-it" routine ended. Which is how Aladdin is able to trick the Genie into escaping the cave.
Genie: "The more wishes you have, the more you want."
Aladdin: "That's not me."
Genie: "We'll see..."
Yeah to add to that is the "Friend Like Me" sequence
-- the first genie couldn't wait to tell Aladdin how powerful he is.

The genie in the original ask to only have his freedom not to be a human as well so in the end he still had his powers he was just a free genie
however in the movie when aladdin asked what his wish would be, genie answered he wanted to be free, just like other people and travel around the world (sorry if i was mistaken) and genie grant wishes just as how he himself interpret it. just as the narrator in this video said, when jafar asked to be the most powerful being, genie interpreted as negative as possible and made jafar a genie, and when aladdin wished genie to be free, he did just exactly what he had in mind about a free being: human.

@@energy_1978 Presuming you mean the animation it was clearly stated by the Sultan that it was her 16th birthday.

You know how it goes with fandom passion. lol
Very true and one I going to point out. That was his name not kingdom
But in some cultures the royals last name is where they are from some cultures said 'of' some just used the name of the place by itself

This movie definitely gave Jasmine her own arc. Even the Sultan was smart and not like a bumbling baffun. I think Genie sacrificed a wish to save Aladdin. My question is when Jasmine took the lamp, why didn’t she just rub it herself......
I WAS THINKING THAT SAME THING IN THE MOVIE
I’m confused at why he didn’t think to use a few wishes for himself before giving it to jafar.
then the movie will have a different ending xD
I think its bcoz jasmine wanted aladdin to use his last wish to eliminate jafar or something like that...she already is a princess and didnt want anything else for herself so she wanted aladdin to do the right thing and become a hero...but instead aladdin used his intelligence to capture jafar and saved the last wish so that he could set his genie free...

Even a lot of the problems have been fixed I'm still dissapointed that Jafar didn't have a song. Prince Ali reprise would have been so awesome

Or what about Ladi?"
In the remake Genie didn't ask for his name until the song.
He asked for a nickname how would he know his full name if he didn’t ask. Lol Idk anymore
He asked what his name. Aladdin told his name to the genie. Then the genie asked his nickname
I think that was fun, Genie having his 100th master not caring anymore about his name

In both movies I seems like they forget that Aladdin can make his wish and then Jasmine can set the Genie free
That last wish was the iconic move of true friendship. A friend would sacrifice everything to get the best things for their pals 😁
Or, Jasmine could wish for Aladdin to become a prince with a kingdom and stuff, and she would still have two wishes for things like eternal youth for the pair or things the like. Subsequently Aladdin could set the genie free using his final wish
Aladdin is the Diamond in the Rough. He learned that swindling your way to what you want won't fulfill you. Aladdin wouldn't have tried to cheat like that by the end of the movie.

How about how the first wish was never granted? He wished to "become a prince." And does the genie grant this wish? No. He certainly was dressed like a prince. And he certainly had subjects if only for a parade. But he had no kingdom. No kingdom; no prince.
He had the kingdom off-screen
@@YoYoVideosFun
A kingdom no one ever sees. And what is there to prove it exists? The words of a “prince” no one has ever heard of, his unorthodox follower, and a parade worth of people who just leave after a song and dance never to be seen again.
Even the map Jasmine looked at didn’t have such a kingdom until the genie noticed and altered it. If the kingdom existed after Aladdin’s wish was “granted,” then everything related to that kingdom’s existence would have occurred at that time.
@Jane
That would only make sense if Aladdin received his wish. If he truly became a prince, complete with country and citizens, and then failed to find happiness or love (which were his real desires), then your idea would fit. Like if everyone acknowledged his kingdom’s existence, but Jasmin still rejected him and he was more miserable than ever.
But that never happened. He received a charade. It would be like if a man wished to be a CEO of a billion dollar company, and instead he was given a nice suit, a butler, a bank account with millions of dollars, and fraudulent documents that claim such a company exists and that he is CEO. But nothing else. It would still be fake; a con. He wouldn’t be a CEO of a billion dollar company. He would just be some rich guy pretending to be.

@@zitagirl1 Will Smith's genie said that the whole song itself was the instructions so that part of the song is being used broadly.
@@Paraldine13 That's just basic editing to how the new story-line is, but making it look like original made a mistake by mentioning Aladdin's name in the song is quite a bit weird to me.
Why did they change the rooftop jump scene? Originally Jasmine jumped across with no issues.
A stuck-at-home princess shouldn't be having those type of skills.
Sorry!!

Aladdin is the best movie ever it had every single emotion in it like
It's funny it's sad it's romantic it's magical it's adventurous it's serious it's everything 😃💕💖👍👍👍
Now I'm waiting for lion king I hope it is as good as aladdin
your comment made me happy!
Amna Kazi for real!!
@@CRIMINAL827 my pleasure
I feel so sorry for you.
@@scopolamin1 why do you feel worry for🤔❓
I liked the new one better than the first Aladdin. I love Mena Masuod as Aladdin and Will Smith as the genie 🧞♂️
That random person LOL yh also liked this one better
Vincent VAN DIJK Will is.
@@vincevdijk7430 Will Smith wasn't trying to be better. He was trying to create his own genie. And he did a stellar job with the character.
Yes the drowning wish should not have counted.
Great job! I'd also point out that in the original film Aladdin pretends way too well to be a prince despite his humble and poor origins. Instead in this remake Prince Ali looks more uncomfortable because he actually doesn't know how to behave, so I definitely appreciated this change! Well done Guy and Mena!
In new version Jasmine has messy hair after magic flight which is more realistic than perfect hairstyle in the movie
That sounds really pedantic.
I'm very salty about them changing "you're my only friend Abu" to "I only have a friend or two" like wtfffff
didn't even notice it.
It was a subtle nod to the Broadway version where, instead of Abu, Aladdin had 3 friends.
"Need a friend or two"
When I went to this movie yesterday I noticed that, when they are just out of the cave that the magic carpet is building the Disney castle and then sprinkles the sand over it just as the sparkles in the opening scenes of Disney!
I don't consider Aladdin wearing a shirt an improvement!
I agree. He’s a poor thief. Why would he have both a shirt and a vest? In the original, Aladdin only stole what he NEEDED. Now he’s gotta steal something he doesn’t need just to be more “politically correct”?
@@MollyMargolisBillCipherIsBae however,he need a shirt
I don't consider any of the costume changes to be improvements at all. I miss Aladdin and Jasmine's iconic outfits! The new outfits suck (at least by comparison)!
All the people here taking it seriously and missing the point that you just meant the actor who plays him is hot and should be bare chested more often xD
they fixed the "who the peddler is" in the third movie. which was actually pretty good. I thought it was obvious though, the cloths and beard match the genie.
also in Persian folklore genies are djinn, and yes you have to be spesific with wording your wish or face the consequences.
3rd?
@@dougmusgrove8970 There are 3 Aladdin animated movies. The original, the first sequel Return of Jafar which basically serves as the pilot for the Aladdin cartoon series, and the second sequel King of Thieves which has Aladdin's father show up and serves as the ending of the cartoon series. The Peddler appears in the closing moments of King of Thieves, ending the story as it began.
I love that they went through the movie and fixed all of the mistakes it makes the movie way better for the audience! Amazing video🧞♂️🕌🧡🐯
Tatianne Briaga The remake has MORE mistakes than the original! They only fixed one mistake (number 7 in this list). All the other things mentioned in this list are not mistakes or mistakes they didn’t fix! And they actually managed to ADD some major plot holes in the remake that didn’t even exist in the original! 😂 Unbelievable.

Tatianne Briaga I did to some extent. For instance the jam scene was very funny.

Having Jasmine not weeing revealing clothing is a good influence on young girls.
Will Smith was the best thing about the film, without a doubt!
The "grey area" practically solved everything
I like that they made some things more realistic, like the clothes for example.
But they shouldn't have changed the scene with the stealing or the texts about cutting off ears and having slaves.
Sure, those are bad things, but that is how it was in many parts of the world back then. So it would have been just realistic.
Yea but you have to remember that this is still a Disney movie and meant for kids more than adults so they’re probably gonna be more careful with what they include and what they don’t
Childish Landino oh yeah disney movies so soft
Disney: shows the villain being clearly hanged through a shadow at the end of one of there most beloved films
Like would anyone care that much
y z x t what movie are you referring to, sorry I can’t recall that
@@yzxt7535 I'm sorry didn't you think about Jasmine?
Childish Landino Beauty and the beast how do you not know lol
The only plot-hole from the new film that bothered me was Jasmine taking the bread and giving it to the children without paying. With how smart her character was, I feel like she should have known better
