I think Naomi Scott did outstanding and her voice is gorgeous, but there is just something about the crystal clearness of Lea Salonga’s “A Whole New World” that gives me chills every time I hear it.

People take sides and jump on band wagons and just liking both sides of an issue seems like taboo to some. People just automatically sead with out Robin it was bad and compared too much. It was different and the blending of new and classic elements was well done and Will Smith and everybody else did a great job in my opinion.
This movie is exactly how a remake should be! Including the brilliance of the original, with added bits of modern cinematic magic, a few extra themes and scenes, and of course, songs.

I was talking about how Aladdin's lead cast are skilled/trained singers. Emma, on the other hand, isn't skilled/trained. You can literally hear the awful autotune in her voice and some notes were pretty much flat in the songs in Beauty and the Beast.

So, due to that, they changed Sunday which is the holy day in Christianity to Friday ( holy day in Islam) so it fits the movie even more and makes more sense.

I gotta admit.. Before I went to see Aladdin 2019 in the theaters, I was really skeptical after only hearing the songs. They felt a bit too "pop-ish" for me and I missed the "typical Disney sound". But honestly, after watching the 2019-version, I am crazy about it! The movie was amazing with incredible scenery and background-soundtracks. So the songs fitted in PERFECTLY! Can honestly say I love both version equally now - and the actors were amazing! xx

I’m 100% excited about the Lion King Live action, Mowgli/The Jungle Book was done well, so i’m having high hopes on Lion King (also, pretty hyped about the “Long Live the King” scene-)
Robin Williams was a great comedian, but I think he let his sense of humor get the better of him a tad bit too much in the 1992 film making that genie a little weird

As much as I'm tired of live action remakes, I think the new Aladdin is my favorite and probably the best of all of them. I really like the acting and singing.
I feel like in the cartoon they obviously have a lot more freedom that the live action can't really do like in Prince Ali Genie stacked some guys on a pig. But in the live action it just gives great visuals and the singing and expressions felt real. They're both really great so I can't really choose the best out of the two. Don't forget in the cartoon version the carpet flew them around the world in the course of about 4 minutes, whereas in the live action version they just flew around the kingdom. Do u realize how fast they would've had to have been flying in the original version to go through all of those world landmarks so quickly? 92 carpet had to be flying at like Mach speed

The 1992 one was more of a work of Animation... But the new one(2019) had a lot more work of realistic actors screenplays and CGIs along with those remake of songs and stuff... And since did so much work to the new one... They deserve some respect though😇

My own opinion but I prefer the original Aladdin better. The 2019 Aladdin is pretty good and was better than I expected, but I still like the original better.
Speechless, a supposed power ballad about Jasmine standing up for her own but when it's sang in the movie it's just her excusing herself from everyone and singing it alone... In short only she hears it.
All these remakes are cash grabs that hold little to no originality and only serve as to using your nostalgia to milk money out of your wallet. Disney is no longer an art studio with the passion to create amazing, new stories for their audience to inspire and have them at aw.... No... Now it's a large corporation manufacturing facility, copy pasting and shitting out the same old thing over and over like a product on a conveyor belt. So long as people like you continue to support them, Disney will continue on this path in which I fear it will finally end.
Aladdin is my fave disney, a whole new world is my fave disney song. I used to have a casette tape of the soundtrack. I used yo sinh a whole new world to my bestfriend who died a few weeks or a week before the live action was shown.. I felt so emotional now..

I absolutely love both of the Aladdin movies. The live action one was one of my favorite movies of 2019. It was so fun and colorful and inspiring and powerful.
I have seen both the films but I still prefer 2019 version. All the songs have some more clarity and they are powerful. Naomi and Mene have done good job at singing these songs
Might want to wait a little while before you call Any Disney live action remake as "Memorable." Not realizing the old Aladdin and many of the classic Disney movies still hold up today and are never forgotten after 20 to 81 years. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if people forget these live action Disney cash grabs, I mean remakes in the next half decade or less. if it does stay as a memory, it would be more as a meme to mock at rather than a gem to respect.
Music wise id say almost comparable. For the animation/film. The 1992 version still holds. I know disney could have made the live action far superior and hold decades. But instead it was done at the same quality as a alright indie film. Now. Thats a bad thing saying disney could easily create better films.

I feel like in the cartoon they obviously have a lot more freedom that the live action can't really do like in Prince Ali Genie stacked some guys on a pig.
But in the live action it just gives great visuals and the singing and expressions felt real.

Don't forget in the cartoon version the carpet flew them around the world in the course of about 4 minutes, whereas in the live action version they just flew around the kingdom. Do u realize how fast they would've had to have been flying in the original version to go through all of those world landmarks so quickly? 92 carpet had to be flying at like Mach speed

The 1992 one was more of a work of Animation... But the new one(2019) had a lot more work of realistic actors screenplays and CGIs along with those remake of songs and stuff... And since did so much work to the new one... They deserve some respect though😇

I have seen both the films but I still prefer 2019 version. All the songs have some more clarity and they are powerful. Naomi and Mene have done good job at singing these songs
While the 1992 is classic and nostalgic. The newer version is more modern and memorable. So in my opinion it’s an even win.

Might want to wait a little while before you call Any Disney live action remake as "Memorable." Not realizing the old Aladdin and many of the classic Disney movies still hold up today and are never forgotten after 20 to 81 years.
