Awesome, Starshine :) Explaining the most important things pretty clearly... Maybe on the next one with tips and tricks (special things). Well done, Winters
Hey homie, just wanted to say you have an excellent cities and knights tutorial! I have some cities and knights gameplays posted on my channel, and I link this video in the description so people can learn 😎
Glad you like the expansion! For me the base game also feels like something is missing (after you played Catan with a Expansion). I thinl it is a lot of fun! Agree! 😁
Nice video. I disagree that paper is by far the best commodity. It's really good but cloth is underrated imo cos the yellow progress cards are really strong in the mid to late game.
Oh yes, yellow cards can definitively compete against the green ones. The problem here is the aqueduct for me. It gives you so much flexibility and advantages so that paper is for sure the right choice to go if you ask me. But I see your point of view! 💯 Thank you for watching! 😄
I really like this expansion but paper feels too strong, I wish it gave you a random resource instead of letting you choose, that would still be strong but would at least tone it down.
That is not bad suggestion, agree! I think one problem is also the relativly strong deck of sience progress cards which makes paper even more valuable. Maybe it would also help to nerf that one a bit down? 🤔 Thank you for thoughts and your comment anway! 😄
I think paper is meant to be strong since in base catan wood isn't. Wood is good at the start for roads and settlements but your use for wood very quickly dries out as map space runs out and people start focusing on making cities and development cards, which don't require wood. Therefore in C+K paper being the strongest city resource makes sense since it makes wood tiles a bit better overall instead of just for the first few turns.
I agree with that, however, I personally do think that it makes wood tiles way to powerful, although wood itself is the most useless ressource in the game. 🤔
How come C&K isn't as popular amongst the other top players in Catan on Colonist? Feels like very few channels play it and instead focus on regular Catan which feels...limited.
The editing from 2:25 to 2:40 could be better. Listing off the 3 castle gates is not synced with when the colours show up on screen (they lag behind the speech). I don't know why there is a black screen for a few seconds. And the graphic that shows which red die corresponds with each city upgrade is only onscreen for less then 2 seconds.
Thank you for your honest Feedback! I looked up the black screen on the original file on my laptop and it doesn't show anything wrong with video there (👍 for YT therefore 😂) I agree, the colours aren't synchronised (at least the last 2). I wanted to make it step by step but and already removed the animation as it otherwise would have even be more unsynced. 🤔 And oh yes, I guess that was a bit to fast, I went a bit quickly there as I thought an example is coming afterwards anyway where u see the same grapic again, but I totaly agree with u there! 😁 I am at the end of the day not a professionel cutter, but of course I try my best! I am sry u didn't like the video. 😕
Well done! Great production quality!!
Thank you very much for your comment! Very much appreciate it you take your time! 😊
I still can't wait to get that 1st game of C&K or Incas with ya! 😉

Very helpful for beginners for sure! Well explained! Really don't understand why RUclips puts a black screen there! :-)
Me neither, but I don't wanna take the video down because of that 😂

@@Starshine.7207 Yes both are great. I would rate paper and cloth similarly with maybe paper being slightly better.

Wood & brick are useless in the later stages of the game, but wood got an insane buff while brick still stayed sub-par
