Greetings from Iowa! At 63 this is my second winter working on staying in shape for casual summer bike riding. This really helped me keep up with my husband who is a year older and never works out, but seems to always have more strength and energy than me. I always chalk it up to Asthma.

Fairly new to indoor training. When it’s tough to keep up the efforts, is it better to drop down a gear or two and maintain cadence OR keep gear up high and reduce cadence?
