This is easily one of the funniest shreds I have seen on RUclips. Most shreds people make end up being mediocre because they just put in random terrible sounds with no rhyme or reason. But you put in wonderful effort to line up the playing, stay to the well known tune, line up the lyrics, and it paid off. The humor was crude, but it worked very well. I commend you. Great job.

Aside from a slight pitch issue on one verse, I thought this was one of the finest musical performances of all time. The guitar solo alone will inspire a whole new generation of players, and the decision to mic Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, and John Paul Jones was brilliant. Their reactions and commentary brought me to tears. Great job, CBS!

Possibly the funniest video I've seen all year. When the off-key chorus chimes in, I damn near fall out of my chair, convulsing with laughter. I'm sure that the "real" version is great, but let's face it; most of us have heard "Stairway to Heaven" hundreds of times throughout the course of our lives. This version is SO much more fun.

Shreds are definitely not for everyone. IMO most musicians or serious music fans tend to enjoy them.

I love them shreds too! For example also "KISS" shreds, Marylin Manson" shreds or even "Steely Dan" (but it´s called "Steely Dan are out of practice" - but it takes some minutes until it gets funny) with kind regards from Stuttgart

First of all, this is amazing. I've watched this over and over again and it remains one of my favorite shred vids; It's hilarious beyond words. Secondly, I never understood the reason why the the like bar is almost half dislikes, but I have a theory: After reading the comments, there's this "Lèse-majesté" vibe that you can detect from the older people who love these artists and are seeing their dignity drowned in front of them. This is one of the few videos I've seen that has this level of push back and I want the creators that make these to know that you all do amazing work and shouldn't let peoples' reverence for "off limits" musical icons coax the enjoyment out of this.

I couldn't stop laughing. One of the best shred videos I've seen. To those that are bitching about this, go google shred video and find out what a shred video actually is. They're supposed to be awful, have ironic titles to it, and ultimately be hilarious parodies/dubs of good, often times great, videos.
