Sharing a stage with Jimmy would be my dream as well. Until now, I only got as far as to share a place with him in the queue to the bar at a Michelle Shocked gig in London ... sigh...
Dave Groehl is a phenomenally talented man and the keeper of the flame for rock music. He shows such profound respect for his roots... May this guy rock on forever!
Jimmy and John enjoyed the hell out of this moments, remembering the good old days when Led Zeppelin was kickin ass through the world, they are godlike!!!!
How many times, when he just started playing the drums, Dave played their songs in the drums? How often did they dream of playing with Zeppelin on a sold out concert? That's a dream come true, on that night.
Bruno Adc I understand Dave's reasoning, and desire, (who wouldn't want to play with the 3 remaining members of Zeppelin?) but Jimmy, JPJ, and Robert made the right decision. Besides, it is more appropriate and traditional to keep Bonham in Led Zeppelin.
This is almost Zep pre 73, energetic, heavy and on point with a massive crowd. One of the best performances since it's time live with the original 4. Many since including Van Halen ,Phil Collins, etc have F'd up this great tune live.
This is the closest thing you can get to a Zepplin reunion. 7:23 and on you can see the pure joy in Page, take a look at the way he meets back up with the Fighters. The best!!!
Just found this...brings chills to my middle age bones!! Great to see JPJ and Page rocking after the Ahmet Ertegun Concert. Wish they would do one more tour with Plant, and Jason Bonham (or Grohl, or Zak Starkey).
As an proud American, I have to agree with you 1000% Just Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd alone. For me that is. But then you add Queen, The Stones, Beatles etc... classic rock bands yeah the Brits were sh!ting on everyone.(BTW just to keep things clear and in prospective even though I'm from 1987 my favorite music/band is classic rock specifically Led Zeppelin) But being loud and proud AF from Los Angeles born and raised since 87' say what you want but the 90's was all us baby! From RHCP, to Nirvana, back to Sublime, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Blink 182, Rage against the machine, Metallica I mean should I keep going because I can. You got to at least give us that(the 90's) RIGHT?
Wow, just fucking wow. I reckon for more than a few moments there Jimmy could hear and see Bonzo behind him. He was totally in respect of Dave's final drum roll, for a moment he was back in 1973. Jimmy once said you knew when the Zep were getting serious, he and JPJ would get in front of the kit and 'tune in' to Bonham's beat. Notice where they spent a lot of their time. There are bass players... then there is JPJ. And Jimmy just exudes rock n roll. Great stuff. Then there is Dave Grohl, what a drummer. Only he and Jason could rightfully sit behind JPJ and Page. Dave is rightfully the custodian of rock history, preserving and respecting the history and ensuring its future. Long may he and Taylor (his faithful wingman) keep the music alive for us all.
Robert Plant thinking “Not Bad” ... are you out of your mind? Robert Plant see’s himself as the Center of the Universe. Anyone else is not worthy of his time. Robert Plant is ... well, for lack of a better description; he’s like an Egomaniac with an Inferiority Complex! 😂
We all know that, while it was cool to get those guys on stage for the crowd, it was really all about Dave living out his boyhood dreams of playing in Led Zepplin for a massive sold-out arena. If he smiled any harder his face would have shattered!
For those who lived under a rock, You just watched best tandem ( Lead guitar - Bassist ) in the history of rock and roll. Suck it all in..... breathe it!
Page nearly burned down the f.....ing stage. Dave gives proper tribute to those that have gone before him. He's well aware who's shoulders he stands on.FF forever!
I'd much rather hear Ann Wilson of Heart doing the vocals. She can nail the high notes just like it came off the original album!! No bad feelings toward Taylor, but I think he has trouble with that upper vocal range that eventually wiped out Robert Plant's voice.😉
The look on Jimmy's face during the final drum solo. Priceless. More please.
Imagine how Dave felt looking out from behind the kit playing with Page and Jonesy. Dream come true.
@Babis Tse what lol
It would've been any drummers dream come true!!!!! Myself included!!!!!! OMG I love Led Zeppelin!!!
Drum come true! ;-)
Sharing a stage with Jimmy would be my dream as well. Until now, I only got as far as to share a place with him in the queue to the bar at a Michelle Shocked gig in London ... sigh...
CHILLS when Jimmy and JPJ were introduced.
JPJ`s bassplaying is immense, as always. What a musician. Dave Grohl is the gentleman of rock`roll. Brilliant performance.
Jimmy's still got it. You can tell that he's clearly enjoying himself. He often seems like a ship lost at sea without Led Zeppelin
That gorgeous smile!! ;D*
Jimi Jimi.., he just wants to play!
Jimmy is poseidon. You don't get anything
Jimmy and Jonesy still giving it large in their 60s. Brilliant !!
@@isabellac5669 nice tempo Jimmy was right there I bet he was feelin the love :) that night AMAZING

Page can still wail on that guitar. JUST FUCKING AWESOME !!!
No one can rock like Page and John Paul Jones. Amazing that they can still kill it at 70+
No one has more stage swagger than Jimmy
SWAGGER that's it!!🤝🏼
Jimmy Page is the GOAT!!
Keef Riffhard
When the lead singer goes behind the drums and fulfils his dream of playing with his idols...😍 What a line up!
Jimmy Page & John Paul Jones..... the best of the best!!!!!
But Blackmore is one
JPJ is so good, but Blackmore is one
@@focies1959 Not even close.
so glad this masterpiece is recorded💯
I play it more than I should....about half the plays on the counter are mine.

Woow, what a performance! Jimmy and JPJ, very cool!
Every once in awhile Grohl gets on the skins and you remember he is one of the greatest drummers in Rock history.
In tears. Damn. There are no other words!!!!!! There will never be a sound like Zep. Dave did a hell of a job on drums.
Dave’s face when he starts the song says it all!
I love the fotos at the end. I think Jimmy and jpj are enjoying it as much as the young lads!
Kings of rock and roll! Long Live Rock 'n' Roll!!!
you can tell it was all honor for dave!!so great.luved it
JP and JPJ...does it get better....Foo fighters just add more crazy to crazy good...Jimmy..into that big time, and John Paul just givin it.....superb
Spirit of the Zeppelin still flying ! Puissant et convainquant !
Foo Fighters and Led Zep. Doesn't get any better than that.
This is almost Zep pre 73, energetic, heavy and on point with a massive crowd. One of the best performances since it's time live with the original 4. Many since including Van Halen ,Phil Collins, etc have F'd up this great tune live.
Dave looks quite happy. Man, what a gig!
How much would you pay to see these four mother F'ers play!! Holy shit!! Awesome and Jimmy Page is the greatest!
that moment when the gods come down to earth and remind us of who they are and how we got here
Perfect Mr. Lopez!
you just won the "well said prize of the year "

Insane amount of energy.
Led Zeppelin best band ever 🤘great to see JP and JPJ, I was lucky enough to see the Zeppelin reunion gig a couple of years before this in 2007.
Absolutely fantastic
This is real music
Great performance by these 2 living Rock and Roll Icon....Just like the real thing ...Rock and then lets Roll it...

This is why Britain are the kings of rock, queen, led zep, Beatles, stones, AC/DC (on a technicality), no contest.

This was awesome!!! Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones are gods and the vocals were also amazing but the drumming is legendary :)
Is it me or does Jimmy Page get more badass with every year? What the hell?!?!?

Legendary!!! Wow, speechless.
If you had only one song/one video to enjoy forever, this would be it.
I saw Nirvana 3 times...and I was there in 1995...at The Reading Festival when they played the first UK gig....xxx
I like to imagine Robert Plant somewhere, listening to this performance and thinking, "Not bad."
I think it would have Robert Plant cringeing and turning it off after the first 15 seconds.

Gr8 concert! Both drummers can sing as kick ass as they drum! So much talent oozing on this stage❣️
Fifty Years of rock in few minutes. God!
Two of the best drummers in rock, who also happen to have great rock voices.
el mejor homenaje a los mas grandes de la historia ...memorable

Dave could not smile any bigger than at the beginning of the song looking at Jimmy!
One of my favorite live performances. You could feel the energy through the screen alone. I could only imagine in person. Gah❤️
Beautiful!
Holy Crap!!! Awesome!
Very nice to see that. Thanks.
Great to see how excited Dave and Taylor we’re RIP ❤️🇺🇸✌️
Thank you for putting this video back up. It was blocked for so long.

Taylor Hawkins in his element & absolutely killing it. RIP 💔🥁🙏🏼

2:30 when the crowd realises who the old dudes are you sauntered onto the stage haha
If I make it to 70 years old and play 1/50th of page I'll die a happy man.

6'50, Jimmy Page trying to stay cool but nonetheless being impressed... Maximum respect!

Una versión salvaje, desde el canto hasta la batería, impresionante..
Those two guys will never die. Some things do really seem immortal.
They could do a tour with Taylor singing and Dave on drums. They nailed that.
Taylor was really really good here!
If only 😢
I'd much rather hear Ann Wilson of Heart doing the vocals. She can nail the high notes just like it came off the original album!! No bad feelings toward Taylor, but I think he has trouble with that upper vocal range that eventually wiped out Robert Plant's voice.😉
