I headed out to say goodbye to Jess and my favorite campsite in the world. It is eroding into the ocean and doesn't look like it will reopen again. It was just a normal relaxing camping trip without too much excitement but that's ok sometimes. Crazy neighbor towed me out to the campground in the brave little toaster with their nice big fancy motorhome.

People who go through grief or just mental health in general absolutely need people like you in their lives. People that don't jump ship when things are tough, but are there to help steer the boat and power through. I know this as someone who has both been through dark times and who has had immediate family members struggle with mental health issues. People like you are heros and literal life savers.. so thanks for being there for our friend Steve.

I’m a six foot 270lb tattoo covered biker, and yet here I set teary eyed my heart hurting for a stranger! That may say a lot about me haha but it should say even more about what a great guy Steve is!

I'm 6 feet 3, forgot my weight but it's usually in the 280's,no tatts & I've only been on a moped or E bike so, not necessarily a biker but hey, even I teared up some too

The gym hasn't done anything to provoke me & well, landing some full on blows to a lot of the weights results in a lot of pain, potential broken bones & well, anyone else there may not like me "hitting" the equipment l?
It's never boring, man. I come here to lay down, cozy up, and camp in my mind.

I have one of the best marriages, my wife and I are so intertwined that I could not imagine life without her. Whenever you talk of Jess, I tear up because I imagine my life without my wife. I feel your pain even though I have not endured it. She is always with you even though you cant touch her, she lives inside you now. I am crying writing this, Steve. Love you bud, stay humble.

Camping when it's cold, rainy, hailing and windy is way better than a beautiful weekend at home! So glad the four of you could go camping together (one of you in spirit, and the other three still here in the physical. ) I'll bet Jess was laughing (or screaming, one of the two) at the "French Fry & Hail Storm Frenzy". Love never ends.
I swear Steve gets some of the absolute *BEST* B-roll footage I've ever seen. It's not like he's out finding extremely rare hidden gem spots. Most of them are just regular camp grounds or stealthers. Some how though he finds beauty in every site! Perhaps that's the lesson I got from today's episode. Sometimes it's not about the place you're in but the views you look for from it.
Also cn saying "fairies dancing on the roof" That's the most Scottish thing I've ever heard and I watched Kinging It in Scotland 🏴 💙

Raw-cut potatoes, steam or boil mere-seconds (under 1min), spread-out, freeze, thus ready for deep-fryer: steaming makes a goo-layer but doesn't otherwise cook-them, freezing breaks inner-cell-walls for fluffiness; fried goo crisps and insides puff; but the best fries are tossed with rice-flour either before freezing or prior to frying; rice flour makes amazing texture.

That area, the waves and woods and sunbeams poking out .. the drone view ... spectacularly beautiful. We go to 'the lake' every year as a family and It's like this. A part of me is always there, and it calls to me until I retrurn.

Might be the most scared I've ever been watching a Steve Wallis video! Hey Steve if you see this and are still up island the French Creek marina (Parksville) has awesome fresh fish (right off the boat) if you time it right. If you don't time it right - and it's luck, basically - it's kinda overpriced but I had the best cod I've ever eaten in my life from there. Thank you so much for the video, it was very touching. I love that Steve is able to publicly relive memories with Jess. We all felt like we knew her. This was a nice, calming video and the fish and chips made my mouth water. I was a little anxious about that hot vat of oil and that wind. Happy it ended well!

Hey Steve, I dont know if you'll ever read this, but I just recently started watching your channel, and I love it. I got recommended the stealth camping in the round about video! Thought it was awesome. I've been watching about a week now, and it feels like I've known you my whole life. I work night shifts, so Im kind of lonely when I get home from work, and I watch one of your videos and it makes me feel like I'm hanging out with a good friend. That french fries cooking set up was straight out of a Jason Bourne movie, levelling a house as he wonders off down the back garden munching on fish and chips until his hand started shaking. That little camper is sublime.

My favorite wholesome channel. I love Steve. I love crazy neighbor. I am very sorry for the loss. I feel guilty at loving the channel after the horrible news. But I am so glad he is back.
I still go to sleep listening to rain on RUclips videos. It helps handle the pain of neuropathy in my feet. Rain on either a tent or on a motorhome roof is very soothing. On a warm rainy Summer night I opened the roof vent of my over cab bed slightly and the fine spray of the rain bouncing off the roof into my face was so cooling. My last motorhome was a six berth coach built affectionately named Granddad's Bus by the grandchildren. We took them all over the UK rarely using anything but wild camp sites, preferably next to a beach. Most of them are grown up now but they still chatter happily about those times when we all get together. Age has caught up with me now so it's hotels and dining rooms these days.
