- The perfect camping opportunity presented itself with a U-Haul rental depot directly across from a campground! It just took a quick trip to Canadian Tire and a thrift store to get the van ready for camping and I was all set. It turned out to be a surprisingly appropriate vehicle to camp in for the night!

Only Steve could set off what look like a bomb in the fireplace and the very next thing we see is him sitting calmly in a lawn chair not speaking a word about what just happened... Love it!
It was legitimately a sparkler bomb without the tape. I was shocked he kneeled so close to the thing.

The part around 9:15 with lighting fire and Steve's reaction was pure comedy. There's this violent burst of flame and Steve shouting and running away, and then the next shots are Steve calmly sitting by the fire and introducing us to a pizza oven. This is hilarious man. Your videos are great.

My best friend Natalie was in the hospital for awhile. She almost died..... I couldn't afford a long term stay at a hotel. So I rented a U-Haul, so I could sit next to her, in her hospital room all day, till visiting hours were over. At night I slept in the U-haul, in a sleeping bag, in the parking lot of the hospital. Steve, watching you decorate the interior of the U-Haul added sweetness to my memory of a very tough time that I went through. Thank you.

OK I'm not sure what happened but we went from super humble camping behind city welcome signs and abandoned trains and isolated highway medians to glamping with curtain rods and a TV in an U-Haul, using large sparklers to start a fire, and a pizza oven in just a few videos. I LOVE IT. And like everyone is saying, anything you do in this unique creator space is watchable but all these extras are very welcome and entertaining.
As a former UHAUL employee and an avid watcher this answered so many of my questions I had while working on these trucks 😂 this made me laugh

My friend has a climate controlled storage unit in a place that has enough room for 10 cars inside. She stats insude until 10 pm...bathroms.. and then she pulls her small U-Haul just outside in the parking area with a box spring and a mattress that she normally stores in the climate controlled storage facility. It is only two blocks to a gas station that opens up at 6 in the morning and it is in a nice suburb of Minneapolis-Saint Paul
I wasn't expecting such an explosion from 119 sparklers lit together. Thank God Steve is ok. The U-Haul was set up nicely and that was a beautiful campground too.
Yeah, I used to light bundles of normal sized sparklers and they never took off like that. I wondered if he maybe doused them with lightler fluid or something.

Used to make "Sparkler rockets" as a kid, 20-30 sparklers wrapped in a lot of electrical tape, goes flying, huge shower of sparks, good times.

@@daveh7720 It happens when a bundle of sparklers are put in a confound place, where the gases can build up and cause an explosion. We used to light them and put them in peoples letter boxes in the 90s when we were kids lol

As far as uhaul, I totally understand how this is NOT what their vans are intended for, but as long as you are not damaging it, there should be no problem! Also, you said you only moved it a very short distance, so that means ZERO wear and tear on the equipment! Looks to me like: No harm, no foul!

Steve, when you pulled out the sparklers to light I giggled. Then when you started wrapping them together i knew exactly what would happen; probably 15 years ago at this point for new year's, my extended family decided we would get rid of a bunch of sparklers by lighting them in one big bundle. Our "sparkler bomb" as we called it took a bit longer to go off but it was just as exciting as yours. Especially since we lit it in my uncle's backyard 🤣

@@braves9652 Hang in there, ...sounds recent-mine was killed by the hospitals & quarantine in May 2020 , it still is really bad at times knowing her suffering was avoidable but there are good times to counterbalance. It'll be a roller coaster of pain/emotions,...once again,-hang in there > watching Steve's stuff helped me through some of my tough times also. Be well and get better, God bless

This is the funniest video video I've seen in a while. The whole Sparklers Segment was hilarious from beginning to end. And then the Pizza Oven part-- "You can cook all sorts of things in it! Um.. Pizza--" *Cuts away to next scene immediately*

Steve, you just brightened my life up immensely with this!! On Good Friday, my workplace announced major job cuts and on Easter Sunday, my ailing mother died. I'll be fine, but this was absolutely the pickup I needed. You'll never know how much you uplift people. Cheers, Steve!

I lost my dad Easter Sunday a few years ago. A big surprise. I am so sorry you lost your mom. And you will find, as I have, because Easter Sunday changes every year, it is two days, not one that are the anniversary. We learn to survive all these losses. But it is hard. Especially holidays, birthdays and death days. Bless you Terri and may you have love and support.
I hope that you feel relief from her passing. Caring for an elder is very hard so please don't feel guilty for feeling relief. Good luck on your new adventures.
