Blanket Fort Camping

- I have finally completed my lifelong dream. To camp in a blanket fort! It seems silly, but it actually worked out better than I thought. I went to a regular campground with other respectable campers and put together a blanket fort with rachet straps, clamps, and tent pegs. It was a very acceptable camping shelter and a relaxing couple of days!

I feel like we've witnessed a real evolution in your culinary skills. You've gone from fritos with chilli and cheese to halibut with a white wine reduction and fresh veggies. You're a legend.
There was a glint in your eye during this camp Steve that we haven’t - understandably - seen for awhile. I hope this little camping trip brought you the happiness/peace it seemed to in the video.
You can thank my grandma Anna for the quilt with the canoe’s. Donated that a month or two back and this is not how I thought I’d run back into it 😂
When my anxiety gets really bad I like to watch Steve just so I can live vicariously through him and feel what it's like to escape for a little bit
The fact he redonated the blankets sums up why I love this channel. In a world of shallow influencers and douchey rich kids pranking others for internet clout a kind man enjoying simple things gives me hope. Thanks for being you Steve!
You kept me sane while you suffered. I am so sorry for what happened. Thanks Steve for always being there. You will never know who you supported while you needed support, but you sustained.
How can anyone not love this guy? What a pleasant corner of RUclips. God bless you brother
Oh man. I never comment but I've watched steve for years, this is hands down in my top 10 episodes pf camping with steve! The blanket fort was amazing felt so cozy and nostalgic, the crunching of the snow when you walked to the beach, the gourmet meals looked super yummy and your surprise 2nd night stay was a nice surprise. Its nice to see you smiling steve, glad you had a great time!
Only a legend like Steve could pull off camping for 2 nights in winter with only blankets, pins and a ratchet strap. I really want to try this sometime.
Considering what you've been through, the fact that you still show up with these great videos says a lot about your character. Keep calm and carry on. I'm sure Jess would be proud of how you've handled this situation as are all of us. Carry on camping Steve. Tony
Steve's ability to maintain his whimsy and humor after everything he has been through, I find to be absolutely remarkable and inspiring. No doubt there are private moments we don't see, and that's perfectly okay - healthy to the healing process even - but his commitment to continue on doing what he knows Jess would have wanted is truly a testament not only to his character but to his love and devotion to honoring her memory. Thanks for all you do, Steve. You are an inspiration to many, whether you feel that way or even believe it yourself.
The quick little cut to Steve sitting by the campfire after he said hes having salad, then back to where he left off in the video was the funniest thing to me
"There's a fine line between looking creepy and looking whimsical." Words to live by. Thanks for landing on the whimsical side! Loved the blanket fort and the camp grub you made.
Today on Steve Wallis, Steve earns his Whimsical Tent Craft merit badge, his Thrifting and Upcycling badges as well as his Gourmet Camp Cooking merit badge and Organization badge. Way to go, Steve! A step two salute for you, my friend.
As a Texan, I'm super impressed how you Canadians nonchalantly deal with the cold. This episode in a blanket fort no less. I have to pee every 10 minutes just watching your videos 🥶
currently HUNKERING DOWN in a motel bc my family lost our house due to the bank taking it. your videos bring me comfort knowing you were strong enough to get through tougher situations than me.
Well I must say that this is probably one of my all-time episodes of camping with Steve. You had happiness and your voice and I could see it on your face. That took me back to being a kid and doing the same thing. Thanks for sharing and taking us on the adventure Steve we love you.
Steve, dude.
I've watched this one again and again. Had me laughing every time. Blanket fort, return of the "sad salad" shot, gourmet campfire cooking , complete with wine and Salt Bae, breakfast, 2nd night, and Jiffy pop too! Instant classic!
Awesome gourmet meals, cooked on an open fire in the snow. A blanket fort. And... and, a propane pizza oven in the boot. Steve is full of surprises.
