Watched this long cut. I have no idea how the camper works or looks practice because there are almost no footage of it. It looks to extend but i have no idea what its like...🤷

Manchmal werden so lange Videos zum Ende irgendwann langweilig. Die Aufnahmen von der Fahrt nach der langen Arbeit sind sehr schön zu sehen. Hat sich gelohnt, bis zum Ende dranzubleiben 😊

Alter Verwalter! Was ein cooler Ausbau, was ein handwerkliches Geschick und Können und was für eine wahnsinns Tour! Und die Nummer im Winter! Chapeau! Dahinter können sich viele Ausbauer(ich an Erster Stelle!) hinter verstecken, bis man uns nicht mehr sieht😅 DAS ist auf einem ganz anderen Level!

Super krass! Das ist ja wie bei From Dusk till Dawn, irgendwann mittendrin plötzlich eine ganz andere Handlung:-) Du hast das supergeil geplant und gebaut, und wenn es eben im Herbst fertig wird, muss man halt dann seine große Reise im Winter machen. Mega, einfach Mega.
Ich wünsche Dir, dass Du die APE nie auf die Seite legst oder es Dich umfegt, und dass diese Schwerlastschienen halten, das wirkt ja etwas mühsam.

Very cool build, but I think it would need dual wheels on the rear to increase stability and handling. Also, make a chamber around the outside of muffler to heat the air going to the carburetor in cold, wet weather! This will keep your carburetor from icing up and stalling. Other than that, it looks like a lot of fun for camping!!😄👍👍

Fantastic construction and result. You’re a high achiever.
All the way through the build I was thinking "He's putting a hell of a lot of thought and work into something that's obviously just another click bait project that's being done purely to get subscriptions on RUclips. It's not like it's ever going to get used as a camper (beyond maybe a single night somewhere close to the creators home so he can get some closing footage). I mean, look at it, It's the most impractical base for a camper that you could start with. It's a tiny city delivery vehicle for gods sake !......... The things probably already parked up at the end of his garden and slowly getting covered in slimy green moss".
Even when he showed the map indicating that he'd drove from somewhere around Neumünster to Glückstadt, my immediate thought was "Bl00dy hell, that's got to be something like 40 miles. This guy's really pushing the boat out to get some believable closing footage"........... And then he kept on going, and going, and going, right across Europe !...... In WINTER !?!?!? HOLY CR*P !!!!! :D
My hat's off to you mate. I honestly didn't think you'd use it. I'm awestruck and kind of glad that I was so very very wrong. It's a very unique camper and incredibly well thought out.
The only thing that wasn't shown very clearly (Or I might have missed it) was how the two sections of body seal against each other when open? Is there something like a rubber wiper strip between the two sections, or is there something that only seals it when fully open and when fully closed? I'm just wondering about what happens if it's raining when you slide the extension back into the main body? Does the water on the extended area get "squeegeed" off? Or does it end up between the two roof sections, where it then runs off and out as you drive it?
When I saw that you were feeding the air from the diesel heater into the drivers compartment before then funnelling some of that air back into the sleeping area, I was puzzled for a minute, but then I thought about it and realised that this was actually a really good idea. Those little heaters kick out an impressive amount of heat even when idling, so if it was blowing into that small sleeping area directly, you'd literally cook ! Running it into the uninsulated driver compartment first would take some of that excess heat out of the air, keep the front windows frost free, and mean you don't have to get into a cold drivers cab in the morning. If the air was STILL too hot in the back, you could prop the cabs side window open a tiny bit to let a some of the positive pressure escape and limit how much air get's pushed into the back. It's quite a simple solution with multiple benefits.
Anyway, It was a brilliant video, an impressively well thought out project, and impeccably built. I'm incredibly impressed mate (So you've got a click on the like button, and another subscriber. :) ).
