Ich hab das ganze Projekt verfolgt und es war wirklich spannend! Dieses Video habe ich jetzt tatsächlich durchskippen müssen .. ein kurzes bräuchte ich auch nicht. Ich denke jeder defender 90 Besitzer hat nun einen Grund neidisch zu sein. Echt klasse und Respekt für die tolle Arbeit! Ich würde mich auf neue Projekte freuen! Weiter so 👍🏼
Ok so the build is amazing, but I'm more impressed by Mathis! He welds, doess carpentry, knows bodywork, knows mechanics, designs, paints... Chapeau!
Sensationell! Karosseriebauer, KFZ-Mechaniker, Mechatroniker, Lackierer, Möbelschreiner, Ingenieur, Designer - habe ich etwas vergessen? - alles in einer Person. Ein Allrounder, ein Genie.
Zwei Stunden beste Unterhaltung, die mir den Mund durchgehend vor lauter Staunen offenstehen ließ.
Nichts ist entspannter als jemand anderes beim Arbeiten zu zugucken 😂
Es gibt 3 Sachen denen man immer zugucken kann:
Fließende Gewässer, Feuer und anderen beim arbeiten.

This is a Cinematic Masterpiece. I just can't imagine how much time and effort it takes to shoot and work simultaneously.
I know how to do about 3/4s of the projects it took to transform this vehicle, but I’m almost 60. To have the ability to remake this vehicle to this high of quality at your age simply amazes me. Well done sir! Beautiful work.

Spätestens mit diesem Video sollte jeder/jedem klar sein, das mit U-Tube sein Geld zu verdienen nicht so einfach ist 😜
Als Content Provider muss man nicht nur irgendwas tun was andere lustig/spannend/interessant finden, man muss auch IMMER auf den richtigen Kamerawinkel, Musik und vieles mehr achten … und anschließend wahrscheinlich, wie hier zu sehen, Material für Stunden und Stunden … produzieren…
Mit anderen Worten…
Man ist…. Kamera Mann/Frau… Schauspieler… Toningenieur… Ausleuchter… Setdesigner… und Regisseur in einer Person UND man muss regelmäßig liefern … sonst sind die Kunden schnell wieder weg … und Ideen muss man auch noch haben …
Klingt alles doch wie ne Menge Arbeit…
In diesem Fall kann sich das Ergebnis sehen lassen… 💪

I did not imagine how much I would love watching this video for almost two hours. There were times I forgot that you were filming it and I wasn't just magically transported to your workshop. Imagining setting up the camera for each shot is a MASSIVE undertaking let alone the actual build process. Thank your for restoring the defender and taking us all on the journey with you. I own 2 defenders and 3 series trucks. I have been watching Land Rover RUclips videos for years. I have never seen a video that comes close to what you have produced here. There is no equal. Really Really impressive! Be proud of your work on this!

Unglaublich! Habe ein 110er Projekt angefangen, dass ich auch vollumfänglich restaurieren wollte. Nach dem mir am Unterbau aber 10 von 10 Schrauben abgerissen sind habe ich mir nur noch auf die Achsen und die Karosse konzentriert.
Du musst wirklich Nerven aus Stahl haben, das alles so konsequent durchgezogen zu haben!! :D

Stunning restoration, this is probably the best Defender 90 on the planet. The rooftop camper conversion was a great idea.
Well, I've seen some restorations, repairs, upgrades, but all those in one clip and on such level is something else. Man, you just nailed it. You have passed the entire game. No further levels. This is just insane. The amount of time, effort, money, skills spent, used and shown in this clip is just... You are my new idol!

The extent of patience that you show restoring this old Defender is truly astounding. If only Land Rover had manufactured this vehicle to the same high standards that you apply, there would be a lot more and happier Land Rover drivers. You are a genius!
80% of all Defenders are still on the road. We love them even if they can be a money pit. He did a nice job and I did similar on a 110 for Brighton to Cape Town, but not to the extreme of finish. I knew my would get knackered by the end. Being a right hand drive there were lots of offers at the end of the trip and I actually made money. 10 years later and I understand it's still going strong. Was a V8 rather than diesel as it actually easier to get petrol than diesel through Africa.

Excellent work! I bought a 1972 L88 Land Rover in Denver, Colorado just like the one you transformed. It brought lots of memories. I had a 1999 Discovery II and a 2009 Range Rover Sport and now I drive a 2016 LR4 (Disco 4) SCV6 Luxury. My youngest daughter Drives a 2021 Range Rover Evoque. We are a Land Rover Family. Thank you again, you are very talented!
