If you listen to Devil and the Deep Dark Ocean or Slaying the Dreamer from the same show, you can here a lot of similar style of arrangements and sounds as in this one. These songs are from the early years 1998 - 2002 and have a clear sort of 80s metal mixed with musical vibe to them. That's why there are those back and forth vocals as well.

I've also, sadly, noticed this behavior in the comments. I believe the culprit is the "go to" first reaction of almost all NW reaction channels on YT, GLS w/ Floor @Wacken. I got Oceanborn for my BD wayyy back in 1998, had my doubts/was "shocked" about Annette (but I was corrected when the album came out). I truly think it's horribly wrong to compare these incredible vocalists, they're all great IMHO, I do, however, sometimes favor the original over Floor (She's been absolutely amazing, ever since I "found" After Forever... -07 -ish?). I love this song and i really like how Floor sings it. What it throws me off is the semitone change. It is too low and lacks the energy of the original with Tarja.

Actually I have to correct you, Travis! Your last remark was not correct. Although it was 2019, this tour did not feature a whole lot of new work. In fact it was a nostalgia tour, on the occasion of the release of the Decades album, which compiles 20 years of Nightwish. In other words a compilation album. So in fact they played quite a lot of very old songs in that tour 😉🤘.
Hi both, this is one of my favourites. I still think Tarja's version is better and that's quite a thing for me to say as I prefer Floor over all of the 3 lead singers. Floor did turn up the dial and did a brilliant job as the song went on admittedly but this is definitely a Tarja song. Nice reaction :-)

I also notice Tarjaholics never suggest Tarja's solo work - just the old Nightwish stuff. It's like the only thing that matters to them...is Tarja with Nightwish...
