For me, Lorna Shore's new album "Immortal" is a close second. It is HEAVY, especially Death Portrait and King ov Deception. I understand Lorna Shore is an entirely different sub-genre of Metal but yeah that's just my two cents.

Crazy Chaos Emppu as well. Also no I have some concerts to attend first and it isn’t in my budget at the moment. I’m waiting to see Tarja and Within Temptation hopefully next year if hope lets us us finally go to concerts again

I listened to it like 4 times in a row today while I was working or cleaning the house a bit. Lovely disc to feel at peace. I also stopped doing stuff at times to look at my plants and just appreciate the beauty of our world (well, I mostly looked at my fern, because it's the cutest thing, plus a living fossil, dating back to the carboniferous and stuff. Gotta love nature)
This album is simply stupendous in its depth and complexity, both musically and lyrically and conceptually - Tuomas is a genius and NightWish are the perfect vehicle for him to unleash his genius on the world 🤘

10/10!! I have been impressed by this band before but this time I'm absolutely and completely speechless. How ever... am I going to need a encyclopedia to be able to keep up with this band from now on :'D? It's getting so much more cryptic, mystical, classical and demanding. I really have to focus on listening but I love every single bit of it. Yeah... that's pretty much perfection to me!
Such an atmosphere in Pan. It captures mysterious wonder so well. And just when you think its over, the final breakdown comes in. Kai must REALLY hate that china cymbal....
great reaction, I must confess that the first time I heard the album I was not convinced, but each time I hear it I discover new things and it is truly a masterpiece and this is one of my favs (the choir rocks!), try Tribal next and do the skeleton dance! xD

Yeah honestly never imagined this! We didn’t even have a goal or anything we were just playing around and did a couple videos here and there without any expectation. And boom! Now we are doing this full time because of the demand. I’m so humbled by everyone’s kind words and that we get to bring some joy to the world during times like this!

Incredible, phenomenal, other worldly. Tuomas is a genius. And Floor... I can't think of anything else to describe her unreal voice and presentation of Tuomas' music. Nightwish. Just. Great. Period.
u should also check out a song tuomas did called a lifetime of adventure. i love the melody, hes playing the keyboards. i read up on it his wife is singing and it also says tony the singer from sonata artica is also in it and troy from nightwish is playing the guitar.
The vocal movements throughout the all album are super interesting and apparently hard to do. Floor said in interviews that the hardest song to sing was Shoemaker (a song in honor of the founder of planetary science, Eugen Shoemaker, who's the only person resting on the Moon). She talked about the fact that she really had to rehearse many times, but also that the last part of the song wasn't to their (Floor and Tuomas) taste until the choir recorded and she was very impressed with the finished product. Gotta react to that one.
The only possible explanation to Floor's vocals is that she's a Space Marine from Warhammer 40K hand has two hearts and three lungs... I mean, when and how does she breath when she sings crazy shit like that?

So good, they feel like Frito Lay's Potato Chips: So good, you can't have just one, lol.
Something tells me when you guys hit up Shoemaker, especially if you read his backstory beforehand... you're gonna need to find whoever was cutting up onions and make them stop.

I have Human :||: Nature and it's such an amazing album. My 2 favs are Tribal and Endlessness. Marko's vocals on Endlessness are so beautiful so much emotion. His best song to date.

My fav is Music...because I think it sums up everything Tuomas feels about...music. Pan would be my 2nd.
I use to say that in this music Tuomas said to Floor: "Girl, you gonna sing the same notes of Emppu"s solo, at same speed..."
