Inside your Xbox settings did you ever check to see if you can have the audio come through headset? Then make sure you set the gameDac up in the correct spot

yeah but the things i adjust in the steelseries app on pc dont get saved as soon as i plug it in in ps5.. like the eq profiles and spatial audio deactivated. is there any method to transfer and save this settings from pc to ps5?

@@alexamplatz did you sync to the headset and gamedac so it can save gotta do that and the Spatial Audio you can turn off in the PS5 settings under audio but it does make the game play better you can customize that too

Now i think i figured out a little bit more:
So everything i set on the sonar app, only works on pc and doesnt get saved if i switch to console.
If i want to have things saved to console, i need to change them in the “engine” section of the gg app. Am i right?
Unfortunately there are much less configurations there :(
@@alexamplatz yes 🙌🏽 on the gg app you can save and sync to the gamedac then plug it back to the console and it will be available

I would like to buy this headset but I'm afraid to pay 250e and not use its full potential on ps5.
Is it fully compatible? as much as on a PC? and is it possible to make settings via Sonar and save them on ps5?
And is the sonar application really necessary?
If you have PC you can make more adjust to the headset and save your settings they will sync and run on the PS5, if you just using console only then you adjust your settings using the base station it come with, and yea the Xbox edition is fully compatible with PS5 it works I use mine on PS5
Can’t save sonar settings to the DAC, but I’m pretty sure if you adjust the settings using the GG software (on that same web page you’d download Sonar) they can be saved to the DAC and rollover to console.

@@imamakeit5163 if you have a Mac you can update but if you have no computer at all, then just unplug them and wait then plug them back in.
would i gain anything for using those websites if i only game on console or are those sites to run while pc gaming? i own a pc and a ps5 but i only game on my ps5
The website / software is for updating your headset to the latest software and bringing over Sonar Presets to console so that you can have extras on the console when using the gamedac, I only game on Console too but after updating made the headset better.
how's the hd60 x for Mac?? haven't seen an update
The HD60x on Mac is cool, I don’t use it though. There is no software for mac so you have to use OBS or Streamlabs or QuickTime for it, so you can’t change the analog audio in at all, I still use HD60S+ until I get the AVerMedia Live Gamer 3 capture card or something new soon

What do you mean? Are you using Wireless or Wired version of this device,

I got the wired and they sound really good. But for some reason I can’t access Chatmix, it says in the tutorial that you press the dial once and you’ll have access to it but it didn’t work for me. Do you know the solution to this problem?

I got the headset but the wireless version. It was fine and everything but the one downside was the sound distortion or static sound. Idk what causing it. Not sure if it the headset, ps5 or the dac. Any ideas?
Nice glad you got your headset, make sure when you connect it everything is plugged in well even if you have to power off your console then power it back on then make sure your volume isn’t super loud or maxed out on your console, tv or monitor, then try giving the headset an update if you have a pc
Anc is horrible on the headset disable it an the static will disappear. When your playing games the noise don't exist

@@CraytonTv I only own noise canceling products when your playing games that's got alot of sound you don't hear the static. But if the games are not that loud best to disable them. My normal Sony xm4s has static if it's idling
Their website says audio resolution is 96KHz/24-Bit but the DAC display shows only 48KHz. I have the wired PS5 version. Any idea how to get 96KHz?
Well you should be fine with the 48 cause 96 will offer more processing power and everyone uses 48
its only on PC on games that support that, apparently ps5 games don't use 24bit

Hello, I have two questions... The gamedac when connected to the pc and to the gg application shows me the sonar logo but once connected to my play 5 it does not show it anymore. Does it continue to work on ps5 even though you can't see the logo on the gamedac or am I doing something wrong ? On the other hand, if I activate the 3D sound in the play, can there be an interference with the sonar? I have the Artic Nova Pro wired.
Good question, well Sonar is a PC application, not all features sync over to Console more are coming, but if you have everything synchronized up from the PC software , when you connect to console they should transfer over so that you can have your saved settings just scroll the settings on the gamedac make sure it is set to stream.

Can you help me with the EQ settings? I can’t hear footsteps at all and I’m this close to selling this ish 😭. I have a pc and have gg downloaded but I don’t know what to do at this point. Lol

Audio is working on ps5. But I can’t hear footsteps like I did on every other headset I had :(

@@CraytonTvand just to clarify, I play only on ps5 but I did try to tweak the eq settings on the pc. I just have no idea what I’m doing when it comes to adjusting the eq. I have the wired. I can’t find much info on the wired for ps5

Hello, thank you for sharing the video. I purchased these headphones from Amazon for my PS5 two months ago. While the PS5 settings offer 3D audio, I haven't been able to experience the full 3D effect in some games. The sound quality is crystal clear and immersive, but it doesn't quite provide the illusion of Digital Dolby Sound as I expected. I don't know what to do!
Nice awesome, this headset is great, now to unlock the full potential of it if you have PC you need to download the Steelseries GG & Sonar applications off there website and then you can customize the headset to your liking then sync to the headset and you will be able to have the gaming experience you want, but if you got Mac like me you can only use Steelseries GG software only cause the Sonar not available for Mac right now even though I contacted Steelseries about it they never gave me a response or update for the mac side but PC get all the features

@@BTN454 yes you can you just sync to headset or gameDac
I'm pretty sure the settings from PC sonar do not copy over to PS5 eq. When switching back to ps5 the dac no longer shows Sonar as it's EQ, but instead shows whatever EQ you've selected on the dac itself. I believe sonar is exclusive to PC use.
I've also noticed that the dac needs to be hard reset "unplug everything that's feeding it power then plug back in" after switching from pc to ps5 for the ps5 eq to actually be working otherwise its just flat I think. I've had to do that a few times. Maybe it's a glitch or maybe it's actually sonar stating active. Not 100% sure, worth asking steelseries tbh

I recently just got the headset for my ps5 and I watched the steel series setup and I don’t have any sound coming from the headset. Can someone help me with that idk if theirs certain settings on the tv I need to fix but i feel like it shouldn’t be this hard
Did you set up correctly and is your volume up & did you check your settings on your PS5
@@CraytonTv Yeah took the cord that goes from the game deck I plugged into the back of the game deck and the USB end and plugged it in front of the PlayStation and went to my settings and the input & output says connected to the headset

I need EQ settings for the regular GG software not sonar as sonar settings don’t sync to the headset unless the app is opened and connected to pc. I use the wired version on ps5 these sound like trash to me.
Do you have a PC if so it allows you to download the software for the GG software so you can adjust those settings then sync it to the headset and use it on PS5 or on the PlayStation use the base station and adjust the settings on that with some custom ones

@@soulja617 oh that is easy, so have you tried the basic settings on the game base station they give you 3 of them one is bass boosted, another is flat the other is focus ?

I've had these headphones since their release. But I can't find the microphone noise canceling option on ps5. Does anyone know how to enable this noise reduction for micro specifically on PS5? On PC, if you turn it on, then it does not work on PS5.

@@CraytonTv Yes, I downloaded it. But the settings don’t seem to be saved for PS5. Now I logged in and see there is a new update. I haven't played on them for about three months and haven't updated. So I decided to deal with this problem again. I'll update and try now. Can Sonar now be activated for PS5? Thanks.
@@gette2006 sonar is PC but on the software you should be able to sync to the gamedac and be able to get the sonar presets now

Yeah when you save your settings they should sync to the headset make sure you have the headset plugged in

@@CraytonTv pc do I use the usb 2 to connect the dac to the pc. Been trying to research some vids to see if I was doing it right but can’t find none.
@@Dmak4 yes use the usb on the dac to connect to the pc then make sure you have downloaded everything you need, now on pc you may have to restart your computer then once it come back up everything will be solid

Is wired the same as wireless? Is wireless more expensive because of better sound or just because its wireless?
Just because it’s wireless 🛜 and you are able to move around more and not be stuck in one location, but me I got wired they work fine I don’t plan to walk around and game at the same time.

wired usually sounds better especially for mic but wireless ofc is more sought after because you can move around more
@jellolina well wired will always be good cause the connection is direct and with wireless yeah you can move around but you still got other features that can happen too because of Bluetooth, and all your devices running. But both headsets are awesome 👏🏽
So what are the best settings for warzone 2 please?
Couldn’t tell you cause everyone process audio differently, I would say try to r war zone 2 presets and see how you like it, if you want to make adjustments then you can on the SteelSeries GG software then just save it and you should be good.

@@Speedy_G_Gaming so first make sure you have updated the headset/ gameDac itself after it’s update connect to the console, and on the gameDac push and hold on the big dial turn knob, then scroll to audio options, press it for presets, press again then you scroll through the presets for the games and WarZone 2 will be in there get to warZone 2 see how you like that preset

In pc my mic works really got at noise cancelling but in ps5 it sounds like trash how to fx it ?

How long is the wired
The one that plugs to the headset it’s an ok size you can still get up and move around but the actual length of it idk I never checked
My only question is, on ps5 will this xbox version of the steel series. Can i actually use its mic in ps chat and in ps games or is only on pc and xbox?
You can use the mic it works just make sure you go to your settings or control center and change your mic to the headset it will work

I must have a different nova pro, mine doesn't say USB or Xbox, it just has USB 1 USB 2
You have the PlayStation version still the same thing just only works on PlayStation and PC and Nintendo switch

@@outcastml8276 yeah your works fine, reason why I bought the Xbox one was cause it works on all platforms so if I ever get a Xbox then I can connect the headset to the Xbox and the PlayStation one was sold out
@CRAYTON TV yeah I have both a ps4 and 5, I heard the headset was great. I have some Astro A40s which I love but they're bulky and starting to fall apart, so I was hoping these would be just as good
@@outcastml8276 yeah these are fire, and you can custom the audio sound using the Base station or if you have PC plug it to that and download the sonar app and adjust the settings then sync to the headset also

@@CraytonTv I have the Astro A40’s with the mix amp and the Arctic Pro Wireless and both require an hdmi splitter to enable game chat audio mix. It’s super annoying… it’s the main reason I won’t upgrade my headsets. 😞😤

@@askeladd5844 the Sonar Settings you can’t do it on the PS5 but if you have a PC you can download it adjust your settings save it to the headset / GameDac and it will give you more features then you can use it for your Xbox or PS5 depending on what version you have but Sonar is only PC thing at the moment hopefully it comes to Mac OS

Yes you can, you download steelseries gg software which is the engine, after that go to settings for mac, scroll down to privacy & security go inside there scroll down to input monitoring then toggle on the switch for SteelSeries then you can open the software

@@wimbabax yes if you make changes and save it then the headset settings go over to the GameDac and sync so you can use the PS5
Why chat mix doesn’t work
It works! Have you adjusted your settings on the gameDac or PlayStation settings then enable it in the control center of the PS5

Yes it is, audio is super clean, and even better if you use it on windows PC to get the software features.
For ps5 users this headset is not top tier it doesn’t support sonar

That headset is $250 the wiresless one is $350 but if you got a PC you get way more features to make it sound even better
