The software has presets that make it sound so much better, change the settings to “broadcasting low pitch” and it’ll sound so much better than the out the box settings.
I wonder what about ANC hissing? I had it with Arctic Pro wireless, and looks like other models have that as well. HOWEVER, I read somewhere that it was actually fixed in Nova Pro Wireless. Wonder if that’s the case though. Thing is - some people just don’t hear the hissing. So if anyone who used a model that hissed, but can now confirm that Nova Pro doesn’t hiss, it would be great info. My Sony Inzone H9 had zero hiss, and are pretty good, but they started disintegrating after 2 years. Looking for a better built product. But also have pretty bad experience with older Steelseries.
@@wilsonc91 what the manufacturer date at the bottom of the box? When I went to Best Buy they had models from early 2023. I found a 2024 manufacturer one on the shelf.
It’s like 2&3 are the exact same but it doesn’t make any sense why they come in different color packaging, I’m worried I’m missing something here but hope u can help, I’m on pc and think I should go for the orange version but then I also have a ps5 so idk if I should go for blue. Hope you can help, thanks!
Good timing my Arctis 7's I've had firnseveral years is finally giving up the ghost so good to have some good options. I wish there were some good wireless open back headphones because heat and sweat are my biggest issues for longer gaming sessions
The one thing I’d love is if they had a way to extend the range, maybe an ethernet port to use wifi for audio? Or maybe exposed antenna ports to attach larger antenna?
Did they ever fix the sidetone issue? A firmware released shortly after the product dropped and it nerfed sidetone. Then they released a firmware update stating “raised sidetone when set to high”. But it didn’t do enough by any means, it’s still so low. So I returned the product. How is the sidetone on this product now?
I do think so yes, if you get the right version for console you should be able to use it on Xbox and PlayStation, but if you'd still want to adjust the audio profiles then you could go with the nova 5x wireless, which lets you have great user control from the mobile app, and the mic that comes with it is great, check it out Edit:Also it has good charging times with advertised quick charging that supposedly allows 6 hours of use after 15 minutes of charging. But I haven't confirmed those claims yet
Here in Norway they' cost more than the Maxwell should be opesit but it's not only reason I chose nova pro because it's white if it wasn't for that I would chosen Maxwell
Wish the mic was better especially at this price point

Will the settings save?@@louiienation8497
@@louiienation8497 I'm getting it today. Will try your advice, thanks!
For anyone wondering yes this improved version is available in black.
Just ordered mine in black!
@@GabrielTheeAngel Awesome. You won’t regret it. I’ve had my pair for years now and it’s still working perfectly and the features and sound are great.
Can you tell me how you would know this before buying them please
@@turtlerx Go to the white version select it and there is an option for a black one on the side.
was this a review or a wicked cushions ad?
They also silently updated the black edition with the noice canceling nub
Finally someone talking about ear cups.

Purchased the black model at Best Buy last week with a January 2024 manufacture date and the nub is gone. Looks just like the white model.
Thanks, I’ve just ordered a black set from Steelseries directly! Hoping this is the case for me!
exactly, this got "fixed" in a newer revision for a long time already.
My amazon 2024 versions still have it. Anyone else gotten the bad version?

What is sidetone? Mic feedback?

was the anc performance the same vs the bigger v1 nub?
Anyone know the difference between models 61520 61524 and 61526? They all say pc and ps5
Did you figure it out?
Does it have mesh cups
I don’t have a pc, can I still use these on my ps5 and series x without having to download the firmware from a computer??
