I was into metal in high school but slowly grew out of it over the years, and moved on to other more calmer genres as I got older... But i love this channel, bringing me back memories with loads of fun, you've also made me interested in metal again with your recommendations! Love your sense of humor, and your fans who share the same humor too. Mr. Ola, thank you for being you!!! I was pleasantly surprised you stood your ground on the last comment! Please keep up the good work! Always waiting to see your next video. - Love, Stephanie from Los Angeles, CA (Yay for 1.3% increase! Lol)

Started a guitar channel a year or so ago, and can confirm motivation is tough. Having a full time job doesn't leave a ton of time to write, record, mix, film, and edit, and there's definitely a ton of larger channels out there when you're starting out. Really, improving with each upload gets me motivated to keep going and see how far I can take it. As long as it stays fun and you can put your personality into it, I think you can be successful as a new channel even today.

    Tjena Ola!
A while ago you talked about in-ear systems. By then you used shure se215. Are you still using them or have you stepped up or tried for example se535?
I had se215 but they where stolen after a gig in Fjôllträsk and now I need new ones, but I'm not shure (hehe) what to buy.
By the way. Me and my girlfriend are having this Sunday ritual. Every Sunday morning we sit in front of the TV worshipping you while eating breakfast. She's very sensitive for burps though, so every time you burp she almost pukes. This is very entertaining for me!
Oh by the way. The rule is we always have to be naked while worshipping you.
    (Knä)skål!

Should I remove them and get them changed? They do not sound bad, but I wondered if the performance is not quite the same or they're simply not suitable for 6strings. Thanks in advance. Hi Ola! Would you ever do a Celtic Frost tone video? Also, I see you like retro RPGs. Have you ever played Illusion of Gaia/Time?

Hi Ola, how do you feel that (at the time of this comment) Solar guitars is now 8 months old and is growing strong as a new brand? And do you have something planned for your one year anniversary? Cheers from Texas!
P.S. keep up the great work!

    Hey Ola!
question about double tracking. if you want a guitar panned on one side on the record, do you still double track and put them both on one side...?

Hey Ola. Long time fan of yours, great videos. My question is about metal rhythm playing. How did you get that fast galloping right hand technique super tight? Did you rehearse songs slowly and speed up, or is there a set of exercises you followed? Many thanks.

I know I'm not Ola (and I hope he answers your question along with mine) but if it helps you this is what has helped me. 1) Record yourself playing your favourite metal songs. Learn the songs by ear. Rehearse the shit of out of them and try to make your playing sound as close to the original recording as possible. Listen back critically to the recordings of you playing and adjust from there. That will be your guide. 2) Get into a meditative like state with your guitar where the ONLY thing you're doing is focusing on your rhythm picking technique. You just sit in room with no distractions and try to put all your focus on to your rhythm picking technique. When you get into this state you will become super aware of how your body is moving and you will make necessary technique adjustments. e.g. is your range of motion with your wrist big or small? are your hands relaxed or tense? what's the angle of your pick? are your right and left hands synchronized or is one early or late? etc By developing this body awareness you will greatly improve your technique which improves your picking. 3) Watch videos of great rhythm players like Ola and others you admire and pay attention to what their hands are doing. This is a guide to help you refine your technique. 4) For exercises, I try to work on combining different rhythm patterns of 16th notes, 8th notes, 16th and 8th note triplets, etc. and different accents and palm muting different parts. I purposely try to practice different combinations that are awkward to keep my hands mobile and mind active for creating new parts. 5) If a rhythm part in a song is difficult for me, I always isolate practising that part with a metronome and figure out exactly what about it is tripping me up. Then I work on honing that particular movement. 6) Always work on your rhythm chops with a metronome trying your damnedest to lock into the groove. This way you will develop rock solid timing making your rhythm chops sound solid and powerful.

Your music reminds me a lot more of Pantera than the bands that actual bands Pantera members started after the split up and I really dig it

Hey Ola, what would you say are your top 3 albums when it comes to guitar-tone? Not the composition or playing but the sound of the guitars.

Hi Ola ! Why is there no v shaped guitar with a hipshot bridge on the market?
What would you chose between the jackson mick thomson pro series and the ltd jeff hanneman ?

Hey Ola got a question for ya real quick. If youve still got the G3 and the Marshall VS100 could you just do a little test and let me know if they sound good? If you could use something like a guitar loaded with EMG 81 in the bridge thatd be better. I love that you've been messing with the VS100 because Ive got one!
If you dont have time/the gear anymore its cool. Just wondering so I dont shell out the cash for a pedal that might not even sound that great with my gear.
