Just showing some custom things I did to my 7th gen Maxima. I put a Samsung Galaxy 10 inch Tablet in as my main source of entertainment. Car is known as the G-MAX.
I think I figured out a way to do it but it's a lil tricky. You'll need a double din radio harness for w.e. model car you are doing the install. Find a video on RUclips as to how to remove the radio. Now, this for me has been the tricky part.... You'll need to decide to either mount your radio unit inside the enclosure (behind where it currently sits, if there's enough space - maximas have plenty space back there) or relocate the radio to the glove box. To relocate the radio (the option im currently exploring) is a bit more difficult as it requires finding a way to extend the factory wiring harness wires to reach from the radio's currently location to the glove box. I'm hoping to accomplish this by simply extending all the wires (cut/crimp). After that, its just finding a way to secure the radio inside the glove box and connecting the aux/charger cords to the tablet. Hope this helps anyone looking to do this conversion/upgrade. I'm waiting for parts to come in and then I'll try and do a video for this install.

Thats a nice setup bro, personally I would have went with a smaller tablet though, it kind of seems a bit too big for the dash. But other than that, car looks mean bro, the black grill goes great, too.

thats pretty sick but i have the sv so i have the knobs in the dash where the tablet would be so dont think it would fit but i like this setup, i didnt know you could 'tether' the tablet off your phone for wifi or whatever thats sick

I'm guessing all you have to do is messure the length and width of that part of the dashboard find a tablet with the same dimensions connect a aux and charger cord to the tablet and hide it behind the panel and that's about it. It cant be that hard just common sense.

The easy part taking the radio putting it in the glove apartment. And a kit for the tablet.
The stock radio connections cable isn't long enough to get the radio to the glove compartment.
