I upgraded my bulbs to LED when I Installed the smoked headlight assemblies. Love them!!! Went with Morimoto 2stroke 3.0 on the h7’s & DDM Tuning in on the H1 🙌🏻

I think they were either h1 or h7. I have another video where I replaced the bulbs, check that
I have same lights hooked up to work 24-7 no need to have headlights on. Looks 🔥🔥
I love the look too, but I wanted it hooked up to my Hazard lights, I light the contrast when they are both on

really like your set-up!! 👌🏾💯 i just found some of those tube style led drl’s- how hard would it have been to wire-in the fog lights to the drl’s to have them on at the same time, minus the actual headlights being on?
Not hard, as long as you know how positive and negative works, it’s really simple

Can you LEDS for the headlights or do u have to use HIDS D2S
I’ve been using the HIDs that come with it but their is a little conversion kit you can buy to use LED bulbs. I’ll be making a video on that soon. I’m not a fan of the HIDs either

Those look great I have 2 Infiniti M35 but I'm looking for a daily driver it has to be a Nissan Im torn between a fully loaded 2009-2013 Maxima SV or a 2015-2018 Maxima SV or Platinum I always wanted this body style max tho
Go with the more recent years, it’s hard to come by the older Maximasx especially if you’re looking for something to last and in good condition. The maxima is a great car but ofc it has its down sided, #1 being that the performance upgrades are sooooo limited

It was around $250 on Amazon. They go out of stock often and sell out fast
With the aftermarket headlights the daytime running lights do you have a separate switch for those or does it turn on when you turn the headlight switch on and stay on all day the reason I'm asking because I want to be able to turn off the daytime running lights and keep just the head lights on are just keep the daytime running lights on and the same with the fog lights on my 14 Nissan Maxima
I wired it to be on with the Orange clearance lights. So they work with my regular light switch. I can have them
Completely off. But if the Orange clearance light is on then they are on as well. You just have to decide how you want to wire them. If you want to have a switch for them separately, there is a spot inside the car by the traction control you could use. It’s just more labor
Did you have to do any additional wiring for the led strip?
Yes you have to run a wire that connects the led wires to a fuse with constant power when the car is on.

I want to know where did you purchase your aftermarket running headlights from because I want to put them on my 14 Nissan Maxima but when I tried to get them on Amazon when I seen them Precision Auto Collision in Orlando Florida they was saying check with the Nissan dealership and see if they fit but Amazon says it fits my car I talked to the parts people at Nissan they trying to tell me it won't work for my car you and two other people with 7 gen Maxima have done it they is telling me the same thing about the fog lights I want to install they won't fit two

i got 2016 nissan maxima purple / black premium rims with the peanut butter leather. man i love this shit . put it in sport mode and slide around. im adding a intake and a resonator/muffler delete soon to give it that good sound

What was process to tap for the DRL's? And have you experienced any condensation?
No condensation and I ran the drip wire to my ignition fuse. Had to use my own wires to extend

I have an aftermarket headlight and the bulbs are completely different. If your car has the factory halogen headlight then you need h11 led bulbs, if they are factory HIDs I can’t really help you

I still have the factory bulbs that came with the unit, I have been testin bulbs and haven’t found which one fits and works properly without heavy modifications to the hoisting, I got more bulbs coming in and as soon as I figure it out, I’ll drop the the video on it, should be really soon.

Nah no problems at all. It’s only a little bit of a problem if you had HID factory on your car. In that case you’ll have to tap into the wires or get 2 pairs of h11 harnesses

I wired it to the fuse box, I tapped into the clearance light fuse

And if the new one is Halogen and old was Xenon HID, are you able to swap the ballast and Xenon HID components to the Halogen housing?
Old one were halogen, news ones are halogen as well. And if you want to convert from HID To Halogen you have to wire up a standard halogen harness to be able to connect to the new headlights

Yes you can.
yo bro got the same ones installed today and they dont fit exactly maybe the mechanics aint put it back on right or something but theres alot of gaps between the bumper and bottom of headlights... i see yours has a little gap but not as much as mine. i hve 2012 maxima as well..... Alsooo can i get the link for those splitters??
Check out my parts and link videos and if it doesn’t fit exact it might be the molding of the bumper

Hey bro how much did you lower your max by? Shit looks clean brother. I've just started modding my 2010
I maxed it out in the back. Over 3 inches for sure. The front is dropped a little over 2.5 inches. Just enough to clear the fender so I’m able to turn and it’s a fun car to mod. Wish there was more you can do to it but you can’t 🥲

You can convert but I think it’s a little more complicated

You’ll be removing the factory had unit all together. You may have to do some extra wiring.
I found these on Amazon but it said they are not compatible on models with HID factory headlights which I have. Is there a way around that?
You have to convert from HaiD to H11 harness
I know this is an old post, I too bought these but I have the Xenon headlights.. after trying to put in the acani the plug to the hid ballast was different. So I abandoned the effort and trying to sell the headlights..BUT are you saying I can just use a harness adapter and plug into the xenon ballast? I followed your instructions and your headlights are different. Any help would be GREAT. thx
No, you won’t be able to just plug and play into ballast. When you get the h11 harness you’ll tap into the positive and negative wire that leads to the ballast. It’s basically a whole new wire. The ballast is useless for the headlights.

Mine is wired with the clearance lights so it works off the same programming.

The clearance lights/parking lights can work but I connected to the fuse for the clearance/parking lights instead of splicing and tapping
I had a problem with these headlights they weren't that bright at night 😕
I switched the bulbs to leds. It take h7 bulbs

I haven’t changed out the bulbs because they didn’t bother me much but I just got the replacement bulbs for them, I’ll be doing a video on that tomorrow and dropping some time in the upcoming days
