I own it. The R8. I have big hands. I have huge lenses. For examplecthe Bigma 60-600. It s huge. . It handles brilliantly AND is a smaller body when doin' street photography. I love it to death.
@miha_Gutm No I don t and don t need it. By chance today I shot a serious National League Handball tournament with the R8. Roughly 400 to 500 pics in 7 matches of 2 times 20 minutes half time matches. Indoors. I really need the semi light sensitive 2.8 aperture. I shot it using the Sigma 28×70 2.8 Art and 70x200 2.8 Sports lenses. Both "big contendors". On the 70x200 there is a tripod mount bracket, which I use as a hand held. The grip on the R8 is wonderrful. I don t use a neck strap, but a hand strap. The handling is left hand to do the heavy lifting, holding the zoom ring on the lens and the right hand holding the R8 body, controlling the aim, knobs and shutter. Works like a charm. Whole day long, no fatigue, no stress in hand or arm muscles. The fact that the lenses have some weight makes me aim better and have a more steady handling of the camera, since the weight of the combination prevents "waiving around" your camera and its aim. Size and weight is a bless, not a burden. Believe me. It is NOT an issue.

Do you have an extended grip for it?

It would be cool to have an R3 sensor in the body of a Canon AE-1 costing the price of an R8.
haha that would be pretty epic :)
