    I love your dino build! I will, however, have to live vicariously thru your build this time as I have NO storage for a prop like this. I learn something new on each of your projects so thank you!!

      Thanks Careismatik! This is one of those props even I don't think I have the room for, but that little voice in my head keeps prodding me to make the whole thing. I might make it over time and then do a follow up video as repeating the same steps over and over might not make for very exciting watching! Thanks for your support Care!

    I have started the utahraptor. Doing a 14in smaller version. What I did was use a rasp in the shaping then covered it in air dry foam. I also cut off the teeth you have drawn in made teeth out of air dry foam..Came out great:) Rawr on.

      That sounds great! You may find the air dry foam (Depending on brand) may contract a bit as it dries, but in many cases the cracking is minor. I'd love to see the final result if you were willing to share! Thanks for watching :)

    I’m mesmerized by that beautiful red fabric on your workbench along with the cool dinosaur skull, Samhain!!🙀😂 So…to finish or not to finish.🤔 I would work on it a bit at a time and periodically leave it to work on something else. Someday, it’ll be done.🤭🤣 Whatever you decide, I know it’ll be a beautiful prop!🦖✌🏽

      I would like to say that was my workbench, but the reality is (much to my wife's disdain), the living room coffee table! lol. I'm really debating on the full sized monster, it would be so cool, but at the same point, the only surface big enough for the whole thing would be my garage door! Thanks for support Fraidy!

      Yes! The garage door or even the living room wall!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽😂🙌🏽@@SamhainPropworks

      Really happy you enjoy the videos! On this prop I use XPS Foam which you can purchase at almost any home improvement store.

    Utahraptor could get up to 6 feet tall and 18 feet long, so even larger than you thought!

      When I looked them up, I was like "Nope, not building its largest size". So I saw the juvenile height and length and figured it was a great place to start without going broke buying 20 sheets of 1" foam to build the full skeleton! lol. Thanks for watching!

      Glad you managed to meander back this way Helle! I'm waiting for the weather to turn into spring so I can get back out into my garage and get back into some larger shenanigans. Mind you a 15ft Utahraptor is not exactly small! lol. Thanks for watching :)

    Your favourite piece of concrete, eh?

    • @SamhainPropworks
      @SamhainPropworks  Год назад

      Yes! I figure if otters can have a favourite rock, so can I! It really works well for doing texture and not just any piece of concrete will do, if the concrete was mixed too wet the end result would have been smooth. This piece of concrete was a nice mix and dried jagged, thus becoming my favourite piece of concrete! Thanks for watching Nerf herder!
