Sculpting and Casting fossil Dinosaur Claw

When you don't have what you want for casting, turn to sculpting! Using oven bake sculpey clay and homemade green sand, and homemade bronze alloy, I was able to cast a replica dinosaur claw out of bronze.

Fantastic video. I have had some limited success recycling old metal by adding borax to bind to impurities. That liver of sulfur patina is really nice. Bronze is my favorite.

I have a question for you, how long do you bake the clay to dry it out? What temperature? I need deets, man!
