Thanks for the kind comments mate, glad you're enjoying the video's! We're still going too, should have lots more to come throughout the next few months. :-)
Thanks mate! It can be frustrating sometimes, it's definitely something you have to time right. There's always the case of 'you should of been here yesterday!' :-D
Brilliant video lads..when you actually look at a mackerel properly, they are stunning looking creatures, and hard fighting,,,imagine if they went to 20lb !!

@@FromTheWatersEdgeTV yes the right conditions or tide either can't get there or at work.. Day off, can get there wrong tide, or they were just not there ..
Hi Chris. Nice to chat that evening. The one I caught is on the freezer. It could end up being bbqd, filleted or ingredient for fish cakes. We haven't decided yet, suffice to say they all taste great.
Great video Chris as always! Looks tasty! Can I ask where you’re from because my dad thinks you’re a West Country lad but I’m sure you’re straight up Norfolk!?
Awesome mate i did the exact same thing 2 weeks ago was fantastic. I had ours on the bbq with lemon olive oil and oregano. Great vid mate tight lines 🎣🎣🎣🎣
Great video and looks delicious, planning on going fishing in the morning hoping to catch a cod but mackerel is the main target, just a question how long did it take to catch 2 hours or half the day? Also is it a good bait to use strong cheese? Thanks (I'm just a newbie and live near beaches so decided why not try to catch mackerel instead of buying :D)
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed the video! Hope you managed a few fish too. The Mackerel were caught in an hour or so after work, although if they're there in numbers you can catch them in a matter of minutes. Cheese works well for Chub in the winter, but never heard it used off the beach!
Sharing the catch with your dad was a special I like that
Thanks mate, it was very enjoyable. Definitely something I'm going to try and do more in future. :-)
Outstanding lad's, you said make a suggestion, bring back COD QUEST!!!! 🙏🙏. Thanks for uploading the video. Kind regards Mike. Norfolk. 🍻
Agreed! Love that series 👍
Thanks Mike, it'll definitely be coming back this Autumn/Winter! We promise. :-)

Never thought about feather fishing from the beach I thought it was just a pier or boat sort of thing
It's worth a go mate, especially when the water is calm and clear and the Mackerel have been in!

Cheers Tony! :-) And you're right too, they are stunning fish - very Tuna like!
Got to continue the cod quest lads, surely?
