The Chiefs entire team is worn out. They have played Twenty games per season the last two years. It affects the linemen, on both sides, the most. The NFL, in their quest to stop the Chiefs three peat, gave them a schedule that would tax any team. Playing lots of non-Sunday games, and facing their usual daunting first place schedule, along with the fact that their depth is waning from so many consecutive years without even a middle of the first round pick, their ranks are wearing thin. Add to that the added detriment of Denver and LA both making coaching changes that greatly improved their defenses, and the Chiefs have been taking a pounding. Jones, insisting on being the highest paid, cost KC keeping either Sneed, or Gay, and it is showing. Gay was greatly undervalued. His speed in the center of the field has proven to be a very handy component of Spag's defense. The Chiefs remaining schedule is brutal, and doesn't look like they will be able to take a break before playoff time, if they want to maintain the 1 seed. It may not be in the cards for their three peat, but if they do it will be the greatest feat EVER in American sports, and the next best is WAY, WAY down in second place.

I don't watch the Chiefs much, but I'll have to disagree with you on that. The Bears have a much worse o-line and a GM who's failed to address the line adequately in 3 years.

The pressure opposing teams feel when the game is on the line is enormous. In the back of their mind they KNOW the Chiefs will win if they have the tiniest of chances. It messes with opposing team’s psyche at EVERY position. It’s similar to PTSD or the yips in golf putts. The clutch gene freezes and they make tiny mistakes that add up to a loss. FOr the very few teams that have beaten the Chiefs you can tell playing that game is as meaningful as a Super bowl to them because for 30 teams it is the closest they will ever get to one

The most disgusting thing that I realized after this game is that the Mahomes to Kelce play is *routine* to us. QB rolling out, stopping to shed a tackle and delivering an on target throw should be a "WOW" play, but Mahomes does it damn near every game ending drive. We (as chiefs fans and just sports fans in general) take him for granted now, I think. He's just so damn good he makes "WOW" routine.

Mahomes already has superior physical ability. On top of that he has excellent field and situational awareness as well. The field and situational awareness, as well as his physical ability, separate him from all of the other QBs in the NFL. There are QBs in the league with just as much or more physical talent, but you’d be hard pressed to find one who is as aware as Mahomes. So even though the cast around Mahomes is a,ways changing, the Chiefs keep winning.

@ lol we just mention what ppl have been mentioning about the chiefs all year. I’m not alone, lol. But It if you can find some I can find some for sure. But we both know it’s gonna be the chiefs way regardless because it’s been that way all season. What I don’t get is why you guys don’t accept the league right now is in your pocket. Why not just say yeah we are the bad guys and we like it that way. This is what lets me know y’all are weak fans. You guys could just say we’re the bullies on the block get down or lay down. But instead you try and play the innocent role like no we’re not getting calls it’s all in your heads regardless what video says. I didn’t watch the whole game either. But I knew the outcome as soon as Mahommes said in the pregame interview they were gonna win. So to us the fans look like pretenders but players at least have a sense of confidence.

He’s so slippery! It’s a real downside having a high intensity pass rush vs PM as he’s so smart, he steps away so elegantly and smoothly and while it’s beautiful to watch as a football fan, for teams like the 49ers or chargers that have high intensity pass rush, it works against you and us so frustrating seeing Bosa be in position to sack then PM does his thing… got to admire it!
