For this list, we’ll be looking at all the games in this long-running hack and slash series to pick out the boss fights that were a perfect blend of challenging gameplay aspects and feature immersive storytelling quality. For me one of the best is Poseidon. Not for difficulty but just from sheer scale and epicness to how awesome it was to have a literal Titan Helping you face him and his death scene causing total destruction flooding the city area.

It was easily one of the best openings to any video game ever. The cinematography of that fight was just something else, Kratos punching out Poseidon out of his water horse in slow motion, just brilliant. Got to watch it again.

Personally I would have taken Valkyrie Queen over Baldur in the new game. That one made me work up a dozen sweats.
Best fight doesnt mean the most difficult.

I would've gone with the Hercules boss fight from God of War 3 but Zeus was great as well.
For me it was hades,for some reason I really liked the pit area.

Poseidon, Hades, Kronos in GOW3 were also epic

Kronos is. More of a stage hazard not a boss he a level yes you do hurt am but he barely attacks

Gow1: Pandora's guardian
Gow2: Sister's of Fate
Gow3: Hades
Gow 2018: Sigrun
What about Thanatos The God of Death he was one of my favorite fights
For GOW 3, I liked the Zeus fight, but I liked the Hades, Hercules and Cronos fights more

the baldur boss fight was really awesome and badass
My personal favorite is Hercules but in terms of the ones that made me pumped up and exhilarated it has to be a tie between Poseidon, zeus and endgame bauldr.
What about that one spear guy from God of war 2. He can be a real pain on titan mode.
Personally, I thought Pandora’s Guardian was a better boss fight than Ares in God of War 1, along with the Hecatonchires in Ascension.
Besides the Reboot I thought Assecion was actually better than G.o.W.3 loved the Human Prison Boss ...

@@smarty1268 it implemented some pretty cool mechanics and the variety of Bosses n enemy types in my opinion (which only matters to me lol)

@@kaphasibad8369 come on, there’s absolutely no comparison when it comes to bosses between 3 and ascension I MEAN GO AGAINST POSEIDON,HADES,HERCULES,CRONOS AND FREAKING ZEUS and in ascension you go against the furies and the guy who has an old man sticking out of his chest which is cool but not comparable to the epic ness that GOW3 delivered and weapons in 3 far out weigh the weapons in ascension.
@@Hidden_lvl GOW4 offered one of my favorite bosses and it was in the induction of the game against baldur but It was lacking in other bosses such as the dragon which was cool when I first played it but now after I replayed the game numerous times it became apparent that the dragon boss was……meh, it had a cool introduction but it was just get a glass shard or whatever it was and throw it at him when he opens his mouth and then chip his health bar.
WM shouldn't have tried so hard to put GOW2018’s boss (which are few and less memorable) in number one spot.
I think they where just going in the order of how the games were released and not actually ranking them. Just saying which was the from each game
they have not ranked the bosses. baldur was clearly not the best bossfight in the series
the battle against Zeus in gow 3 is better than the ones against baldur in my opinion
I would definitely have Thanatos over Callisto. Loved fighting alongside Deimos.

if you miss the old god of war games play DarkSiders 2 it's not as good as god of war but the art style and the boss battles are cool
Cronos or Poseidon js the best in terms of scale but Zeus is def the best in terms of gameplay, cinematix and climax

Sigrun is a way better Boss fight than Baldur.
