I cannot express enough how good it is to see you back in my feed. You needed a break,.... take them if and when you need them, just know we are happy when you're here. Appreciate you!
I can’t wait to be in my own place again so I can experiment like you by watching you videos obviously eeekkkk thank you for doing them I love the passion that comes along with each video
Yay!!! The long awaited update! It's so impressive how quickly you bred them when every article says they can't breed in the aquarium. So awesome! & so cute!!!
Am sure this guy can grow anything in his tanks, Breed anything :) am so jealous, I cant even grow plants in my tanks :( i must be the only person who can put duckweed in a tank and it will be all gone after a month :( Amazing work Mark keep em coming :)
Love your videos Mark. If it would help you put out more videos and more often, I'd love to help editing them for you for free. Please let me know if I can help.
I decided to follow along and breed my ember tetras (I’m a little behind you and a first time breeder). I put 2 males and 4 females in a breeding tank with some plants I had on hand. Four days later and they’re hanging out in a corner and are pale and not really eating. Not too sure what they’re not happy about or if they’ll just take time to settle. Water parameters are fine. Tank is smaller and has more plants than they had before - could that be it?
Hi Mark, have you ever had success with parotocinclus britskii? They have refused every prepared food I have offered up to and including repashy green machine. They are voracious against the brown diatom algae, but quickly deplete a tank of it. Any idea of a prepared food made of diatom algae or a way to make it grow in my tank?
Hi Mark - great to see babies!!! I have 3 otos in my Betta tank - I have tried to supplement them with cucumber, corgette and pellets - but they won't touch any of these - I would hate for them to go hungry if the algae on the wood and glass runs short!!! But not sure what to do - they are usually very quiet fish just sitting on the wood or glass but over the past couple of days they have become very active rushing around the tank and not settling and I worry they are hunting for food???? Any suggestions??? K
I set up one of those cheaper aqua culture plastic 2 1/2 gallon tanks did thing just as you doin your videos. Put a male and femal black neon in there the next day. They were fine for a couple days then the third morningthe female was dead and the male was at the top of the water, lokked like he was strggling to breathe so I put him back in the 20 gallon he is doing fine. Wha happened.
I would love to breed Otto's so our local stores are less reliant on wild caught imports, but I struggle to feed them, they seem to be very fussy eaters. Any tips for reliable feeding?
Still amazed of the breeding of the ottos. You are definitely the fish whisperer! Great video 👍 Your salt water clown tank is beautiful.

Hi Mark! Long time no video. Hope all is ok. If you're up for it I'm still hoping for an update on the Oto's.
brilliant salt water tank
Could you go into detail on what you fed the oto fry?
great video, could you breed glow light tetras?
Still amazed at the ottos breeding. Everything is looking good, Mark. Great job.

😎
would love some of them acrylic weights if you sell them!
I have a fish that looks like an otocinclus but it's so big, about 5-6" and it has a big sucker mouth. it just keeps growing!
Sounds like a common pleco..
hi Mark great vid are you going to do a guppie pond this summer? i saw your other guppie pond vids and loved them.
Yes I might do. Stay turned.

Hi Mark, any chance you could review your zebra pleco breeding series and talk about spawning triggers?
I've been thinking about getting a betta (should I add rummy nose tetras and otocinclus') and how many gallons should I get for my tank?

Sounds like your tank is producing lots of algea. Do they round or flat sunken bellies
@@MARKSAQUATICS I think I would say round bellies!!!
How do you determine the sex of ember tetras?
Hi mark could you have a look at my quick videos see what you think of my tanks?
What you would you change/fix?

Sounds like you had an ammonia spike.
@@MARKSAQUATICS there were only there for 2 days can that happen in just two days

have you tried nerite snail breeding
How the heck do you net the Oto's lol Show us your netting skills.
Do it at night with a torch. The freeze in the light.

Nevermind, just found your vid from 3 months ago, not sure how I missed it. Must give these guys another go.
