I have successfully opened a burger corner in my area thanks to the beautiful bun recipe!!!😘😘
I made this last night. Let me tell you, these buns are flipping amazing. They're giant too. I tried making a pound of ground beef equal six patties to match the amount of buns but the patties were obviously too small lol. The only down side is I usually love thyme, but being pregnant I think the flavor was too strong for me, so unfortunately I didn't enjoy the flavor as much. But I am eating the left overs for brunch, and duuuuude the sauce "spread" is even BETTER the second day after the flavors have sat in the fridge overnight, I was even dipping my cold fries in it. 😂 This stuff is way better than in n outs spread! I'm so happy I can make it at home now. Next time I think I'll have my husband make the patties, but either way this was delish! Thanks for the recipe. 😊

Best part is the joy of making a burger from scratch😃 not a fast food fan and im glad i can make these for my family with the best ingredients👌🏽love from🇩🇪 still waiting for your book i ordered last year😩
Try grilling the burgers on a barbeque with an actual flame licking at them. It'll raise it to a greater high.
Has anybody tried making this? How was it?
I'm making it today. Will update soon!!
Edit: yalll.. this burger was legitimately gourmet. The soft brioche one, the SAUCE honey, the simple patty.. everything was perfect and delicious. The bun recipe is definitely worth a try and the sauce has sich depth of flavour. Thank you Joshua!
Pepsi Cola was it really hard to make the buns tho?
I don't have a thermometer and mixer, do you think it matters?😕
@@aishayusuf5372 it really doesn't matter. The dough will be realllllly sticky. Just use a wooden spoon to keep mixing it. Once you add the butter to the dough, it will be much smoother. At that point, just use your hands to knead the dough. It will become more pliable. All the best xx
So how many servings did it produce, I want to make this for a family of 5 and I don’t know how much I need to increase the recipe
@@adammarvin2964 6 brioche buns, 4 burger patties, plenty sauce. I suggest buy extra meat.. I actually only used one burger patty in each burger. So if you're going to use two, you'll need about 1kg ground beef to make 10 burger patties
Fun game:
take a shot every time Joshua says: “add butter.”
You're going to kill somebody with this 😂
It’s good but butter 😂
Wish me luck
It’s a good game but it could be butter

Thank you josh! The sauce was amazing. I was surprised in all the 40 mins that i cooked the onion; i didn’t have to add water to them!
Wow as an in n out associate I personally approve this burger! Obviously his goal was to make our burger better but as an associate with personal knowledge I will correct his few mistakes. In and out does not actually griddle the onions before adding them to the burgers. If you order a burger with onion we will put the onion slice on the top of the meat patty for the last few seconds of cooking. On the other hand if you order a burger with raw onion, a raw onion slice goes directly onto the bottom bun for a more pungent bite. However to get the onions the way he had them in the video you can order a burger with a "whole grilled onion" where we will do exactly what he does here. Also our spread does not contain grilled onions (probably contains onion powder but I don't know off the top of my head, Also can't remember if he just added that in for fun or to recreate our sauce) my last and final correction does not pertain to the burger but how he ordered! A double double refers to a burger having two meat and two slices of cheese. So saying a double double with cheese was redundant and is a common pet peeve for us in an out workers to hear. Does it really matter? No, because our friendly associates will always try to figure out what you want even if you order incorrectly, which is a very common occurrence at in and out because our company is so focused on customer service and satisfaction that we actively try not to correct the customer. We just try to understand their language lol.
So if you wanted to have the burger he made here at In-N-Out this is how you would order it.
Double double, extra toasted buns, spread top bun, add whole grilled onion, add grilled onion (means chopped grilled onion)
However I think this is the best burger you can order:
Double double, mustard fried, extra toast, no spread, with onion, extra grilled onion, ads whole grill, and chilies if your feeling spicy. I get the spread on the side because depending on how busy we are sometimes the burger can sit for a little longer than I personally like and at that point the heat from the burger causes the spread to get runny.
Ultimately super enjoy this video his burger looks delicious and that quality you can taste choke at the end killed me.
You said it! Yay! I used to work at 203 in Gilbert, AZ :)
Also, INO doesn’t use an ounce of butter like he does in his recipe. I caught more differences than similarities that’s for sure
@@ayshansam The butter is part of the making it better
