THANK YOU!!!!!!!! My sister, who lives 90 mi from me, called and said her clothes were soaked, water still in washer. She did not need this issue since her husband passed a week ago and she now lives by herself. After watching 5 videos concerning this problem, I was ready to take a 2 hr drive, remove the enclosure from the washer and remove the obstical from her pump. UNTIL, watching your video. I called her, she did what I said, washer working great. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I thought you were being funny too. The thing quit. On a dice roll, I tried it on a feisty ten year old kenmore 400 with parts I replaced earlier. A watery putrid experience I dreaded going through again. I was about to go after the pricey cycle selector and/or the fuse until I just tried this expecting nothing. It worked. Im listening to the washer right now going through its paces. No repairman in the history of repairmen has ever shared this. They will say its a big job and then when you're not looking , they will reset it and charge you. You kicked over a serious cow sharing this. Thank You in public.

One more to report this fix worked with deep thanks to Word of Advice TV! Had my washer completely apart - spent an entire afternoon fighting with it. Thought the lid switch was the cause but the problem came back after running a load of bathroom towels - deducted it was too heavy a load and the unbalanced load shut off was happening. Found very little online about this problem and was lost. Had no idea how to reset the washer until I saw this video. Saved me another afternoon looking for a mechanical problem that was electronic. Knowledge is power.

Men, tell your women/kids you cannot fill these washers with huge blankets etc. My fiancé caused the washer to fail by loading up a massive blanket and then even after I got lucky and got the washer up and running again she says "great now I finish this blanket" NO!!! Go do them at a laundromat.
I pulled that blanket out, it was about 70lbs soaked with water. The parts on washers will fail if you keep doing massive loads. I'm lucky this fix worked, it could have been much worse. Tell them to not be lazy and drive down to laundromat other wise we men have to spend money for no reason fixing broken washers because of laziness.

Worked like a charm on a 15 year old Kenmore top loader. No lights or anything fancy, just knobs. I just followed the steps not knowing if anything was reset since I have no lights on the machine. But I started the washer and it started to fill like normal! My issue was that only the Handwash setting was working properly. Any other setting would immediately start spinning as the washer was filling. So when it came time for the last spin, it was already set to “off” by then and the clothes were left sopping wet and not fully clean. This was exactly what I needed. I alone take care of my brain damaged and paralyzed mother with ZERO state assistance (thanks to Texas being a red state that hates poor people). So for us to have a broken washing machine would’ve taken 100% donations to get it fixed or replaced. We live paycheck to paycheck and I’m out of work and can barely afford her meds, diapers, etc. We ALL need to share this video and make this guy rich for all the money he’s saved us!!! THANK YOU FOR HELPING YOUR PEOPLE!!!

Oh my goodness a week ago my washer quit draining, read only about unplugging for 5 minutes did that work. A week later same thing unplugging didn't help this time, somehow came across this video did the lid clicking working thank you heavenly Father for helping me find this video.

God bless you sir! You really saved my bacon. Yes this worked! My washer worked fine the last time I used it. When I went to wash clothes this week -- nothing. No lights. No response from the controls. I turned it off at the breaker, let it sit for a while, then turned it back on. The yellow "sensing" light was on and blinking, otherwise still nothing. Later, I found this video and am now up and running. If you use YT the way I do, you'll want to know this about my washer: 2019 Maytag "Commercial Technology" high efficiency top loader, Model MVWC565FW1 (5 knobs across the panel, looks like the Centennial Series, probably an analog of some Whirlpool model as well)

WoW!!! Brilliant video. I did all sorts of troubleshooting and nothing worked. Fortunately, I came across this video. I did exactly what you demonstrated and now my Whirlpool is working. I could not believe it was so easy to reset such error code.
Sir, please keep on making good videos. Stay safe. Respect and blessings.

    This just worked for me.
You just saved my landlord a headache she didn't need. I desperately did not want to tell her the washer wasnt functioning properly. I figured it was a pump.
    Amazing video ❤

Thank you so much. This actually worked. The agitator function wouldn't work. Checked the agitator parts and they were all fine. Thought it was the belt but luckily i found this video first, tried it, loaded up the machine and it worked. Thank you, saved us from spending money.

My washer was overfilling about 4 inches above the clothes which lead to UL code constantly. This totally helped. Another suggestion someone said was to run an Affresh cleaning cycle (Bravos 300) which would start and change from an hour to 4 minutes shortly after beginning. Both are working perfectly now. Thank you very much.

Dude. You rule. Needless to say I fixed my Kenmore series 100 washer. While I was thinking it might be the capacitor or something in the motor or the pump or all these other things they mentioned in other videos your 10 second solution did it! Thanks!

My washing machine didn't work for over a YEAR, my gut told me it was something simple so I kept it there and tried EVERYthing, then found this video and it was this...wow. I never even knew a washer could be reset, like WHY don't they tell you this in the manual? or when you call the service number? It makes me wonder how many perfectly good washing machines have been thrown out and replaced because of something as simple as this 🤔😮
