The big version (in this animated universe, the justice league+titans fought a normal sized trigon in justice league vs teen titans, and the league got their ass beat. Raven had to save the world by imprisoning trigon in a gem) can easily destroy anyone

@@Maelkor I prefer Darkseid as a character, but unfortunately that's not the case. Trigon is fifth dimensional and has fought evenly with Mxyzptlk. Darkseid doesn't have feats to contend with that.

Avatar these nuts. That is written out of canon ages ago. Additionally, there are dozen more powerful beings like the Anti-Monitor, his mother Perpetua, the Monitors, Black Hand, and so on.
Trigon is the literal god of hell. Lucifer is the god of hell as a concept like the Hand is the god of all concepts.
Meanwhile, Darkseid is a god of Apokalips, a literal planet… thats it.

You gotta see him in the Teen titans go verse. I mean he absorbed this Trigon and became so powerful all versions of Raven fused were needed to beat him, regardless if you like or hate the show their version of Trigon was something else.

Not gonna lie, that fight between superman and Darkseid was the best beatdown of Darkseid ive seen in animation, regardless of how effective it really was.
Another good fight is the one in Superman/Batman: Apocalypse, that fight over there? Pure Chef Kisses, You *GOTTA* watch that movie.

I honestly hope they continue to make more animated movies like they did with this series of films. They were just too good and with Barry resetting the timeline it gives them a clean slate to make ANOTHER set of movies with their own stories to create again.

Just remember, Trigon was having fun for 99% of what happened after he was freed. He did not struggle with Darkseid at all, and most likely was just annoyed that he was interfering with HIS plans. Darkseid may be extremely powerful, but he doesn’t beat Trigon.

Did Trigon really think that no one can overcome his possession? I mean, he got rid of the Kryptonite on Supes, gave him a shave and a costume change, just for overthrowing his possession.

Trigon has (seemingly) no gripe with superman. He's a conqueror first and Darkseid exists to rival that so he gets some smoke from the big bad demon boy :^)

They’ve been doing it since Batman Beyond and even non DC shows like Loonatics Unleashed, but why do most of the fight scenes have that white flash when someone gets punched? It makes my eyes sting a little.

Back in the day there was a lot of censorship in regards to punching in animated shows so one of the ways that they got around it was the white flash. It later became a staple of this animation
The one thing I hate more is the sound effects.

It's meant to project the magnitude of their strength. Superman is this being g that is meant to be unimaginably strong and powerful. But to put another make another being just as or even beyond the abilities of supes is just to show what the effect of suck power clashes would cause.

Seeing Superman kick DS's ass (well deserved) puts a smile on my face. DS is not some unstoppable fighter he can be beat and I love it.
I don’t feel like enough people are commenting about how good Superman’s design looks here. I love the black/grey hair he’s got, reminds me of earth 2 pre crisis Superman. Also love how the animators basically made Batman’s god of knowledge suit into a Batman Beyond suit but without the covered mouth

Something I never understood, did they shrunk Darkseid or something? In Justice League War, he was about the height of a building. Here, he's like 7 feet tall.
Darkseid can control his own size at will. He also has the same strength at any size, so it's mostly just what he feels like at the time.
