Scott, I have officially lost my mind. I just drove from Detroit to Birmingham, AL and listened to / watched your videos the entire way! Thanks for all the great info! 👍👍
Scott, you are a detailing genius. I love your advice and can't stop watching and learning. What used to take me 45 minutes to clay bar now takes me 10-15. Thankyou for all the amazing advice.
scott " i have been paint correcting so many cars and i am tired so much i want to take off couple of days " ok scott what do you want to do in your day off ? paint correct and polish my car hahaha scott you are my hero brother hahahaha
Excellent information Scott! Well explained and great tutorial. Great idea using the Wolfgang. I will be using this method going forward. Thanks for another great video!
Fantastic instructional video with product evaluation. Man, great job and I'm compiling a list of products. I'm a late 70's Ferrari Dealer detail-er from the Wool Bonet - 3M Cut - Black Magic - Ebony days. Awesome videos Scott!
I haven’t used my synthetic clay bar much, but I’ve never seen any scratches. Maybe some micro abrasions but I’m going to paint correct anyway. I use an awesome super slick product for quick detail, claying and rinseless/waterless washing, it’s called Car-Show1. I get it in the concentrated version. Very inexpensive, but just as good as the expensive stuff if not better.
Nooby Vapor I’m thinking about picking up this clay towel to do my Tundra as well. After your done claying, do you wash the car completely again? Then what do you use for a polish and wax? Thx
Thanks Scott. Appreciate all your videos and have taken them to heart for my personal vehicles. As a request, can you do a video on cleaning seats and carpeting? I didn't really notice one, but maybe I have missed it. We spend more time inside the car than out so I think it's important. Keep up the good work my fellow New Yorker. (EDIT - I saw the one on the carpet!)
i made the ooopsie of not removing about 3oz out of the gallon of distilled water and i barely was able to get 2 oz of wolfgang uber in. Put the lid on and shook it up and then poored a little out and put the last ounce in the gallon of distilled water. I shoulda listened to how scott did his in the other wolfgang video he did.
I too like the clay towels. One thing I do is using a foam gun in one hand and towel in the other. Foam gun is filled with CG honeydew 70/30 water:soap.
I have moved away from clay to synthetics and love them. I don't use towels like that because let's face it, dropping them happens and with this one it's fabric on the back and that's just begging to cling onto some particulates that could damage the paint. Instead I use the smaller Nano sponges and they do a great job. If they fall, they don't pick up any dirt and are super easy to rinse off. they also hold quite bit of lubricant. Lots of times in the summer I just use really soapy water as a lube otherwise I do use W.G.Uber.
From my experience if the clay part touches itself it sticks together and is a pain to separate and may ruin the towel. Seems it binds to itself. I wouldn't put it in a washing machine.
SCOTT ALARM......new version of worx wydro released, with 40v battery and 5 times power as they claim.....i wait 100 new videos for it...!!!! Love you Scott....may be this product is the answer for me to be pro detailer in my world with only aparments and no houses...maybe in the future i will need some help to create some.packages with your filoshophy....l
Do you prefer Wolfgang over Ultima waterless wash / rinseless wash now? I've seen you use both now. They are very similar products, even the bottle looks the same just a different color.
Thanks Scott I've been looking for an alternative to buying these little spray bottles for a clay lubricant . I will be searching eBay and Amazon for a good price. you the man!!!!!!
I finally bought some of the Uber Rinseless and can't wait to add to my Meguiar's Gold Class Shampoo when I wash my car. The hard water here in L.A. is so annoying and the do-it-yourself car washes here (there are hardly any left in this city) have shitty spotless rinse water too. Hope it will get rid of the hard water film and that way I'll be able to tell if I need to clay parts of my car or just re-apply the Wolfgang Sealant. I believe parts of my car feel sticky (not rough with bumps) due to the hard water even though I dried my car immediately.
Scott, you should review the McKee's 37 MK37-630 Hydro Blue Sio2. It's by far the most impressive product I have used in quite a while. Only negative thing to say about it is the price, but I do cut it. Keep up the great work. -Rickie
hi Scott - is it better to use Meguiar's Car Wash Plus first before claying?... or is the Meguiar's Car Wash Plus unnecessary since the claying process will already be removing all the old wax and paint sealant that have built up?
That's a good choice. Or another that also isn't a ph-neutral soap. We want the panels free from as much of the old wax or product as possible before going in with the clay.
Scott I hear Carpro Immolube has even more lubricity, contains surfactants which aid in cleaning the surface, all while containing no dyes, fragrance or gloss enhancers. Take a peak at it
Scott, You are a monster! Do you know what I do on my day off? Detail the truck I drive to make deliveries. I think you turned me into a mini-me (mini-You) monster, too. LMAO!
Scott, I hope you see this and answer me. What is your favorite rinse less/waterless wash product. Currently I'm using the Ultima Waterless Wash Plus and love it. But I thinking trying the Wolfgang Uber Rinseless Wash. Not available here in germany, so its it worth the shipping costs from the US. Many thanks!
Thanks for tip as usual. Now let me know what wax you are using next please. I need to do my white car soon. Is the Griots Liquid Gloss Poly good on the Pearl White?
Uber is great, no question. What does it leave on the panel thou? I guess probably nothing much since you are spray rinsing it, but I'm pretty it has gloss enhancers in it.
Hey Scott, have you ever heard of anyone using bowling ball cleaner on chrome wheels or exhaust? I know someone who claims it works wonders but I wanted your opinion. Thanks.
Dallas Paint Correction & Auto Detailing Scott tell me one economical stripper that you can buy in Europe something similar to boat and car wash. INTERESTING!!!
Do you still like this? You had said you did not like those much because it releases contaminants easy and could also scratch the paint because it does not envelope and or hide those contaminants?
Hey Scott quick question I had paint correction done on my car. The paint is very slick but when I rub my hand on the paint I can still hear the contaminants Can I still clay after the paint correction or will I ruin the paint?
Anyone else keep thinking they’re going to see Vic DiBitetto just going off? You know what really drives me crazy about this product.😂 great videos though. I’m trying to get into detailing professionally and a lot of your videos are great ways to save money while still getting the outcome you and your customers expect.
Hi I've started watching your channel for about a week now I get it & thank you for the videos by the way appreciate it, but wat do you recommend for as I do my own washing of my 03 suburban & wife's Honda accord what exactly can I use to wash and then protect it or seal it with I was thinking of meguiars gold wat say you any feedback would be greatly appreciated 😊
With claybar in this scenario you would clayed.it in the same.time.or you sould spend more time????......claymits are in general.....fasters than claybars??? Why i never have seen you using some vichicle and boat wash in a bottle as clay.lube??? I remember that this shoap has very much lubrication Kind reegards Athens Greece
if you want to use a traditional clay bar, i would mix the wolfgang and water in a 32oz bottle...the bottle will tell you how to dilute it as a clay lube...hope that helps and yes its very slick and works great!!
If I want to incorporate a product like iron -x to my procedures of cleaning my car thoroughly before polishing would it go before claying or after. The benefits if any to using iron-x products
Stephen Anderson before, removes the contamination that is superficial, makes the coating process easier so you don’t push around the superficial contaminants
Hi Scott trying to decide between onr and Uber rinseless both as a rinseless wash and clay lube. I’ve read that uber outperforms onr as a RW but have heard it may have gloss enhancers.. what do you think about this and using this as a clay lube prior to polishing? Am i going to have to use an ipa wipedown post clay pre polish? At that point it adds more work so may go with onr. Thanks for all you videos and sharing your knowledge!
Can you please Recommend to me a good dule orbital buffer for under $175 or less I do not have hardly any experience I did only bath one car last year and I am going to buff this car that I have just purchased thank you very much
question why would you use distilled water with your clay lubrication? And then you use the hose to rinse off your car and Clay Lube towel. does it help with the lubrication or something?
Scott, I have used Nanoskin sponges for a few years and last year was the last one for me. I love the way they work, but anytime they touch something while in storage they glue themselves to it and they get destroyed when you try to pull them off what ever they came in contact with. How do you keep your towel from doing that? I was thinking of trying Optimum's towel this year, but I am open to try NanoSkin's one as long as there is a safe way to store them.
Calendyr I keep mine in the plastic clam shell package it came in. Or i did til the wife tossed it, now I use a simple gallon size storage bag. Also keeps it clean and dust free.
I have the same problem and I have a clay sponge, clay mitt, and a clay towel in addition to the clay bar. The hardest part is ringing them out once done to prevent the mildew smell as they dry because you are trying to keep the clay part from pressing against itself. I try my best to squeeze all the water out as much as I can on the back side (microfiber side,) only allowing the microfiber to touch the other side of microfiber as I fold it inward and squeeze. Do this close to your bucket of water to have a water source near if it gets stuck together a little. I also noticed that the times I've gotten it stuck I think I ruined it, so I store it flat in the plastic packaging it came in and when I come back it always levels itself out and looks ready to go again. Hope this helps my detailing bros.
Hey Scott. I tried the fine grade towel on a dark gray vehicle today. Did a test spot on the trunk. Plenty of good lube. Towel left crazy marring / halos in the paint! Had to one step it out. Quick tip, use new clay towel, mitt, or sponge on glass surface, it will be break in and it' ll be more gentle on car paint
Scott, I have officially lost my mind. I just drove from Detroit to Birmingham, AL and listened to / watched your videos the entire way! Thanks for all the great info! 👍👍
That was absolutely your best video. Getting us ready for the Spring Bling. Short, concise and to the point. Way to go Scott.
Scott, you are a detailing genius. I love your advice and can't stop watching and learning. What used to take me 45 minutes to clay bar now takes me 10-15. Thankyou for all the amazing advice.

paint correct and polish my car hahaha scott you are my hero brother hahahaha
its like post officer taking a day off and going for a walk :)
So exhausted of doing paint correction so on my 2 days off I am going to be doing some.......paint correction
"Yes i dont" 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣...i love this guy
Excellent information Scott! Well explained and great tutorial. Great idea using the Wolfgang. I will be using this method going forward. Thanks for another great video!
That was just shy of being scientific, but the explanation was great. And you did it in under 10 minutes, a new world record!
i know right..lol
Scott keep your videos up.luv ya bru
Been using Wolfgang rinseless wash for over a year! I love it!

Just bought my first to make detail spray

Damn he really was on his day off... Short and to the point and still dropping knowledge, yet still doing what he loves.
I really like using these clay towels too. I can do my tundra in about 30 mins. Quickest clay method I know of.
Nooby Vapor I’m thinking about picking up this clay towel to do my Tundra as well. After your done claying, do you wash the car completely again? Then what do you use for a polish and wax? Thx
Not really getting much Wolfgang product on the paint should mix Wolfgang and distilled water in a spray bottle and spray the paint
Wolfgang Uber is awesome. You only need 3oz in 1 gallon of distilled to make a great detail spray.
i made the ooopsie of not removing about 3oz out of the gallon of distilled water and i barely was able to get 2 oz of wolfgang uber in. My guess sir is that the clay mitt can't be machine-washed is that right? Love your videos man!!
From my experience if the clay part touches itself it sticks together and is a pain to separate and may ruin the towel. Seems it binds to itself. I wouldn't put it in a washing machine.
Gracias Scott!! You’re my sensei, I just received this 2 products today!
Wow, that seems way faster and easier, thanks man.
Great video... we are getting ready to do spring cleaning on cars... my hubby bing watching your vids.. thanks

Do you prefer Wolfgang over Ultima waterless wash / rinseless wash now? I've seen you use both now. They are very similar products, even the bottle looks the same just a different color.
Stop making videos you’re costing me a lot of money. Lol. Seriously appreciate what you do and the advice you give!
Thanks Scott I've been looking for an alternative to buying these little spray bottles for a clay lubricant . I will be searching eBay and Amazon for a good price. you the man!!!!!!
Makes perfect sense. Thanks, Scott.
hi scott, just ordered this nanoskin because of your review.. thanks
I finally bought some of the Uber Rinseless and can't wait to add to my Meguiar's Gold Class Shampoo when I wash my car. I can't wait to try this. I simply hate using traditional clay and synthetic clay bars are only slightly better.
thanks for the video- now I gotta go out an buy this stuff and work on my wifes black beetle
Thanks Scott great job another lesson learned
Good info Scott, Glad to see a new vid.
Scott, you should review the McKee's 37 MK37-630 Hydro Blue Sio2. It's by far the most impressive product I have used in quite a while. Only negative thing to say about it is the price, but I do cut it. Keep up the great work. -Rickie
Another great video and many thanks again.
This my second time watching your videos; I like your thinking...so I subscribed , cheers!
Scott excellent video!!! Wolfgang Uber rinseless wash!! Never tried this rinseless wash?
So, Clay towel is suggested before polishing? Classic clay bar is more gentle than towel? Thanks
I attempted to clay my vehicle and I struggled like no other. Using this nano skin towel just makes too much sense!
Do they make a bigger towel for men? This towel disappears in my hand.
hi Scott - is it better to use Meguiar's Car Wash Plus first before claying?... or is the Meguiar's Car Wash Plus unnecessary since the claying process will already be removing all the old wax and paint sealant that have built up?

Your a genius scott
Keep it up

🤔 So you use distilled water in the bucket and finish rinse with a hose/tap water? Am I missing something?
What is the purpose of using distilled water when you are using a hose to rinse the clay towel?
Scott, You are a monster! Do you know what I do on my day off? Detail the truck I drive to make deliveries.
I think you turned me into a mini-me (mini-You) monster, too. LMAO!

Hey Scott, have you ever heard of anyone using bowling ball cleaner on chrome wheels or exhaust? I know someone who claims it works wonders but I wanted your opinion. Thanks.
Does claying the car reduce/remove the factory clear coat or just any wax or sealant?
Bro forget the clay just spray the car paint problems can be expensive
No issues with not wearing gloves with this Uber wash chemical solution? Thx Scott
WGU RW is one of the best RW's on the market, makes a great WW as well!
i agree...do they make a dedicated sealant to use as a drying aid for their rinseless wash??
Dallas Paint Correction & Auto Detailing
Scott tell me one economical stripper that you can buy in Europe something similar to boat and car wash. INTERESTING!!!
Amazing video... thanks for the info
Hi, the clay towell where I can find it??
About $21 on ebay.
Do you still like this? You had said you did not like those much because it releases contaminants easy and could also scratch the paint because it does not envelope and or hide those contaminants?
Can you also use ONR for this method for lubrication?
yes but wolfgang provides better lubrication
Thanks for the advise
Hey Scott quick question
I had paint correction done on my car.
The paint is very slick but when I rub my hand on the paint I can still hear the contaminants
Can I still clay after the paint correction or will I ruin the paint?
Hi Scott, what are your thoughts on ceramic coatings?
So you do not recommend using the towel unless you are doing paint correction after? What if I just want to wax after.
Anyone else keep thinking they’re going to see Vic DiBitetto just going off? You know what really drives me crazy about this product.😂 great videos though. I’m trying to get into detailing professionally and a lot of your videos are great ways to save money while still getting the outcome you and your customers expect.

Looks cool.

Scott can I still use the 1/2 gallon of distilled water and 1/2 once of Wolfgang with a clay bar as a lubricant

Hey scott does this remove over spray as well?
question why would you use distilled water with your clay lubrication? And then you use the hose to rinse off your car and Clay Lube towel. does it help with the lubrication or something?
It helps with lubrication
So your doing this instead of using a clay bar?
where the link to tha towel. whats a rinselass wash.

Dale W Carr what is your clay lube of choice? I’m getting closer to using this, but it’s freaking me out a bit. Never have clayed before! Thx
Hey Scott. I tried the fine grade towel on a dark gray vehicle today. Did a test spot on the trunk. Plenty of good lube. Towel left crazy marring / halos in the paint! Had to one step it out. What's the best option for removing contamination if I'm not going to polish? Paint was decent, just wanted to decon and apply sealant.
Thanks
Strong soap + paint prep + fallout remover + clay bar maybe this can help
Which brand fine grade towel was used, was the towel broken in first before using it on the paint? I recently bought a fairly inexpensive fine grade clay towel and it left no visible damage on a tennorite gray mercedes. I used the towel to clean my car windows and cleaned my shower surround before using it on the paint. I could totally tell the difference when it was broken in, was tacky afterwards. For lube I just mixed up a bucket of warm water and alot of Meguiars Gold Class car wash soap and kept rinsing and dunking the towel in it. At times I thought maybe it was too slick and not grabbing contaminants. The vertical areas the towel seemed to work good but for horizontal surfaces like roof, trunk and bumper contours it just wasn't enough and had to get the regular clay out or else I'd be there all day wiping.
Great stuff...next time you really like something.... this stuff is gucci....keep up the great work
You might be right in what you say but you must love the sound of your own voice, you could talk a glass eye to sleep!
Micky Mouse people who are successful and have the ability to communicate and bring a deeper understanding to the process typically do and will talk a lot.
I will never change that about myself because I am extremely successful and abundant!
Good luck being you and I will be me:)
Thanks for the video Scott! One question, can you or should you use clay scrub over clear bra on the hood?
Yes, you can. Clear bra is finicky but most are self-healing... that's how they help. It's all about the edges of clear bras, and wraps. Stay away from the edges to prevent slow peeling from starting and you're gold.
Dale W Carr Thank you!
NP... rock on
Scott, do you find the Lexus paint to be hard or soft?
the lexus in this video is hard but thats not always the case for lexus.....
Is that cor pear white? Sweet color
yes:)
Somewhere... in BeeTWEEEEEN 😂
Do I dry each panel when done with nanoskin or just leave and keep weting it
you can dry by hand or use a blower
I typically use clay magic or 3M but I may give this a try.
Do you use the fine grade blu clay magic? How it compares to the 3m perfect it?
What strip soap did you use Scott?
purple power vehicle and boat wash
Dallas Paint Correction & Auto Detailing that's what I thought...foam and buckets ?
So how does a clay towel work after it’s full of contaminants? How do you clean it? Ye clay bar all the way stuff the towels it’s a scam
When you buy Nano Skins products, make sure you keep you hands up and do not make any sudden movements, because you're about to be robbed.
i have complain with u have tell us in recent video that claybar are much better then these clay towel because u cannot see dirt.now in this video u are telling to use clay towel .after watching your video i am no longer using ph soap also give my wax collinite 845 to someone u i get real information by watching videos but why u change your Directions of suggestions??
@scott i am waiting for u reply
like i said I'm doing some form of paint correction...i like to see whats on the clay bar when I'm maintaing a car so i can see what I'm pulling up..i also don't like using clay towels because they will marr more than a clay bar,so i use clay towel if I'm sure I'm doing paint correction..does that make sense??
Dallas Paint Correction & Auto Detailing Thanks Right Sir I have followed your point.
Wow! This guy Scott loves the sound of his own voice, less talk more action.
