The problem is, today, 99% of cases settle out of court and do not go to trial. This guy probably legitimately doesn’t understand as he probably almost never takes cases to trial
I think that working towards a mistrial is jones' legal teams end goal, they know that they can't win so why not try to sabotoge the precedings.
Seems to me like the lawyer was just trying to cover the client. I bet he's well aware of the rule and told Shroyer about it but Shroyer didn't follow it so he had to take the blame by pretending to be ignorant. I know this is ironic, considering the defendant is a conspiracy theorist himself, but part of me thinks his attorney knows that AJ is a garbage human who deserves the worst, and while he has to put on a convincing show that he is defending him, actually leaked that material intentionally.

@@gustaaf1892 are you suggesting there are people out there that can resist viewing RUclips?
1000% Exactly Sir
The court is live streaming the proceedings through the court’s own channel on RUclips. Following the live stream, recordings of the proceedings have been acquired by Law and Crime with prior consent and approval by the judge.
If the parties and the witnesses would like to discuss the court’s proceedings outside of the court, then prior consent and approval by the judge would be needed.
Otherwise, if the parties and the witnesses discuss the court’s proceedings outside of court without prior consent and approval by the judge, then the party and witnesses involved in the discussion will incur the consequences as determined by the judge.
In short, don’t disobey the judge’s rules.
This lawyer and his firm are probably never going to have another client ever again. What a hopeless team. So many screw ups both in and outside of court.

@@prumbuggel: Is there a problem with my English? Or are you one of those citizens who has never been in a court room and has no idea of the dangers of that system of injustice?
@@jayclark2077 I was trying to clarify what you are on about, since your answer doesn't make any sense.
Same with your reply to me just now.
WTF are you on about ?
You do know that Doofus McMullet behaved like a clown during this whole trial ?
Like...objecting without even being able to explain on what grounds.
Trying to introduce evidence EXPLICITLY excluded beforehand.
Reading from documents not entered into evidence in front of the jury.
Oh yeah...and ACCIDENTALLY sending the plaintiff's attorneys tons of his client's phone records. When they notified him, he didn't reply properly and the plaintiff's attorneys were able to use the documents to demonstrate that Alex had perjured himself.
Additionally, McMullet now is in trouble in ANOTHER state because within the documents were medical records of the plaintiffs in ANOTHER case which he wasn't allowed to have in the first place.
So yeah, by all means, keep babbling on. Have fun !
@@jayclark2077 I think it was a problem with your English.
He didn't look quite so cocky as he left the witness box as he did when he stepped up to it. Lol .
🤣🤣🤣
My head itches when someone tries to bs me. My head started itching when the lawyer responded to the judge after hearing the rules of the court AGAIN. 🤦🏾♀️omg.
Why can't he discuss a trial that is being televised live?
Witness are not suppose to discuss the trial! They aren’t even allowed to sit in the courtroom while others testify, they only can after they testify & are dismissed!
@@linger4605 No I get that he can't, I was just wondering why that's a rule for a televised case.

@@fugeefaceentropy7008 No, why don't you explain it further. What is the purpose of the rule, what is the reasoning behind it?
right off the bat I'm witnessing a judge assist the prosecutor in questioning. which is highly illegal.
has this judge been brought to an investigation yet?
Mistrial / judge recuse yourself
When a judge actually lectures you in court. That means Alex has already lost this case.
He did lose case. This is penalty phase
Genius
The issue here is the biased judge had already made up her mind what she would do. She's hanging someone with her bias behavior. No judge should be biased.
@@teresasevans1926 Lay off the Insta Hard, Teresa.
@@teresasevans1926 that's right.....the judge deemed Jones guilty without a trial.
This case is about lying and irresponsibility. After copious amounts on manure being spread, the judge has every right to call them out.
Will this apply to CNN for all the lies that they spew constantly?
Sandy hook was f@ke. We don't care what corrupt courts try to do, they will not silence us including Alex Jones.
@@joshuacolon285 no, because CNN is not on trial here and therefore not bound by the rules of this court…. Isn’t that obvious…? If CNN were involved in another court case they could be bound by the rules of that court. 😅
The judge seems a little biased lol
I’m not a lawyer, but tell me if I have this correct. The judge just told a witness, who hasn’t been charged and who is not on trial, the he is not allowed to discuss any details of this case in any capacity, but; especially on an infowars show, and if he does, he could be held in contempt of court? Is this legitimate? What exactly is going on here?
He is trying anything he can to get a mistrial
Too late for that. He already got himself a default judgement, he’s going for default award apparently, if there is such a thing
worse case scenario as the judge stated is that she has to instruct the jury to disregard the defense testimony and only use the plaintiff's. which only makes it more likely that the damages will be greater for Alex Jones
it's ridiculously obvious .
And get his license to practice law removed?
@@grammarlings6517 generally bar associations do not like killing one of their own. He will likely get sued by Alex (lol, if he can find a lawyer willing to take him as a client) and the state bar and courts will sanction him. Remember he is not a Texas lawyer. He is here pro hac vice

I mean he already went to a bunch of them. But to be fair none of those seemed to be very competent. They afterall managed to default their clients case.
Slap on the wrist , good move .
Pretty sure a default guilty judgement (which is what this is) is a sham to begin with.. If I was the defense lawyer I would break some rules to try and save my client from getting railroaded.
This is what happens when they don’t hire Jacky Child’s to represent them. Jacky would be horrified, mortified, stupefied and shamed by this!
