The first groove he was fooling around. Then he actually liked the sound, and you could see his drummer mode come on. I don't know if that makes sense, but I always feel that he's more "into" it than all the others. Always refreshing to watch.
I like the fact he explores texture in such a creative way. Exploring and incorparating as much sounds as you can get out of a kit opens up such a big dimension of drumming.
Puneet Dembla I am blown away by the sonic complexity of these drums. They are obviously studio quality. But it would be very tough to locate microphones and a PA system of high enough quality to accurately recreate the acoustic perfection 'cymbolized' by this set.....

Actually the snare sound very good for that type of drumkit. ALL of the mini drumkit's snare sounds like hitting a bucket with your stick but this sound like a real snare. I'm impressed.
