I just changed to this mask 2 weeks ago. Awesome. Previously had over the head connection with both the nasal cushion or nasal pillow. Every since they changed them to be floppier, I have been fighting them big time with lots of leak, sore nose, dry mouth and interrupted sleep. I dare say N-20 is actually comfortable. Leak is down in the single digits and all the noise I was encountering was making sleep problematic is gone. I am a happy customer. The actual reason I switched was to have a mask compatible with my travel CPAP (Airmini). I am so glad I decided to try it.

I typically don't show patients ResMed products as there are so many other manufacturers that have been ahead of the game in terms of overall quality, comfort, and ease of use for patients. I'm so glad to see that they are coming around and making these improvements. I actually find myself wanting to show these new designs to patients. Thank you so much for making the videos that you do. I love to be able to give patients options and have other choices as not one nasal works for all patients!

I have been wearing the N20 For almost 4 months. You did a good demonstration. It goes perfect for about a week with me and then suddenly I’m getting air leaks. Then I readjust. The readjustment is Counter intuitive. Most of the time I need to loosen up the connection. It is much better than the previous mask that I had. The previous one was jammed up into my nose and I was having all kinds of sores in my turbinates and nose bridge.

You did what my doctors failed to do. Your demonstration of the N20 nasal mask and my using it brought my AHA down from 47 to below 5 often below 2. I am longer sleepy or drowsy. I am a 90 year old retired doctor. I program my autopap myself. Please accept my small onetime gift. I am telling more people to follow you.

I have been sitting here with an N20 for 2 weeks, not being able to use it because the Lincare representative chose not to give me the much-needed info you just provided in approx 10 minutes. I was sitting at her desk! How hard would it have been to follow through? I digress. I think this video was terrific. You showed the headgear from all angles, and I feel confident that I WILL be using my machine tonight. Thank you so much.

After 2 months of using I have the following to add: PROS- Easy removal & re-attachment in the night. Comfortable on head. Good seal most of the time.
NEGATIVES: Blasts air at my partner if I face her which wakes her up! A little noisy at higher pressures. Leaves a red mark on my nose for a few hours the next morning.

Today I got my first CPAP, yeah! I selected this model because it looked the most comfortable and durable. I was correct! I watched your channel because I was confused about the airflow, and you explained its purpose, thank you. I took a nap to practice and become more familiarized with the unit. I had the best rest ever! The equipment was comfortable; I did not feel any part of the CPAP attached to my face. I have to give this product 5 out of 5 stars.
I cannot wait to feel the physiological benefit I hear people rave about after using the CPAP. Thank you for the poop 💩 insight. I believe that the attachments will make it easier to access when I need to go 💩.
    Thank you.

Better than snoring, my wife appreciates that! As for the nose cushion... I like it better than the full facemark. No more elbows from your wife "stop snoring"... Just put this on and everyone sleeps through the night!

I love the mask: it is comfortable and leaks very little at nearly all sleeping positions. It does not have to be held tightly by its straps to stay in place and seal. An additional benefit of not requiring a lot of tension is it doesn’t leave marks on the face in the morning. There are, however, two features that I dislike about it:
    1. It is noisy if it discharges exhaust and excess air on pillow arm when resting on one’s side;
    2. Getting a nose pillow off to clean it or replace it can be difficult. A person with arthritic or weak hands may need to use a butter knife or flat-blade screwdriver to pry the old mask off.

Here's a new one for you that I've just read someone doing on a fb cpap group.. we're constantly warning others NEVER to be tempted (I'll admit when I first started me and my Daughter thought you could too) to put anything in the water tank except water, if you have a cold or like I do to help me relax then place a few drops of oils on a cotton wool pad next to the air vent to help you sleep. Just now someone has said they place a cotton wool pad soaked in vick vapour rub inside the actual tube nearest to the mask !!

The N20 is my favorite mask because it's quiet. With some of the masks, it's like you're in a wind tunnel on steroids. Good luck getting to sleep. I also like the seal and how you just have to pull the mask out and place it back around your nose for a good reseal. Using my Auto-pap machine isn't easy, but this mask is the main reason I'm at 100% compliance since I started using it 6 weeks ago.

@Trudy * I'm getting great results with the Philips Respironics Nuance Pro. I started out putting the hose through the top loop in the head gear but now after using it a few months I'm able to get great results by not using the top loop to keep the hose out of the way. Also using a 5" pillow cube because I also get a better AHI if I sleep on my right side.

I've been using one for about 30 days. Criticisms: (1) heat and humidity build up inside the mask, causing nose to sweat and itch, (2) mask gets pushed upward when I lie on my side, pressing the hard plastic into my face, which is pretty uncomfortable. I thought that I could get around these issues by switching to the DreamWear under-the-nose mask, but that was horrible - felt like someone was trying to rip my nose off. Back to the N20...

I have been using the N20 for 2 weeks, and love this thing! I was using the Dreamwear before this, and like that mask very much as well. The only thing I like more on the dreamwear is having the inlet connection at the top of your head, cause I tend to move around a lot. The N20 for me is much more comfortable, seals much better, and of course Magnet Technology FTW.

After trying several full face masks, I got a N20 and have only had it for 2 days, but I do get leaks up into my eyes. I may have to use tape because if I make it too tight, then my nose feels like it swells inside due to the outside pressure. But at least I was able to sleep for a few hours and my stats were much better....except for the leaks. The tech assured me it wouldn't leak, so maybe it's my mouth opening that is causing that (and my throat gets soooooo dry!!)

Thanks for making this informative video. So, I had to replace my Airfit N20 because the nose pillow started to tear. I replaced with a new N20. The old head gear was beginning to wear out too, the Velcro straps were not Velcroing any more. The replacement came with a new head gear, nose pillow and the short hose which attaches to the frame. With the new N 20 I feel like it is not allowing the spent air to escape, and is building up too much pressure which is making me feel like my ears are popping. So, I swapped out the new short tube and elbow with the old one, and it worked fine. So my question is, what is wrong with the new short hose???

I have had mine for less than a week. At first I was way excited because I really felt that I was better rested. After a couple of days I am noticing things that I’m unsure about.
    A) I wake up and feel like I am bloated from air getting in my stomach.
    B) I know that little vent is meant to release CO2, but mine blows cold air constantly, whether exhaling or not (is it supposed to constantly blast, or just with expirations?).
    C) before I noticed the blasting of air on the outer part of the mask, I had been dealing with a lot of back pressure when trying to exhale... not as much now, though.
I am just concerned that I don’t know what is normal and what is not. I welcome any and all suggestions/input.
    P.S. great video!

So I just got a new CPAP replacing a recalled one and I used to use a full mask from RESMED and my new one came with this mask. I figured I'd give it a try. Measurement wise it said I was a medium but when I put the medium on...I literally couldn't breath through it. Where it touched my face applied just enough pressure to close off my nasal airway. I had to go to the large and that worked much better. My nose isn't even that big but for some reason...I just found it really hard to breathe with the Medium as compared to the large.

I have used this N20 AirComfort mask for two weeks. My issue is that to stop leaks I have to adjust the straps as tight as possible but that leaves lesions on both sides of my mask. When I loosen the straps back to wear it’s comfortable the mask leaks. I’ve done everything I know possible by turning down the pressure to an 8 but that’s caused more AHis so I turned it up from 8 to 8.6. I do okay at 9 with AHIs of 2 and under so I know I have low AHIs. The issue is the leaks! Can you give me some solutions?

I just received this mask after 10 years of using a Fisher Paykel Flexi Fit nasal mask. I really like the head gear and size of the nasal mask itself. It does seem like I have to inhale a little harder to get the air since so much air escapes out the vent. And it is a little loud. I'll give it a few months to get used to it. I also just received the heated hose and not really sure I like it.

I created my own mask - a hybrid with what, for me, eliminates the bad features and incorporates the best ones of the Wisp and the N20. Think about what you like and don't like and figure out a way to make a mask that's perfect for your anatomy...... instead of waiting for these companies to make one 'improvement' at a time and charge you big bucks for it.

  • @angfento

I'm on my 3rd night with the N20. I had the full mask my first month with my CPAP, but as a side sleeper it wasn't the best. This one is definitely more comfortable as a side sleeper, but there is a ton of moisture that settles in the mask every night and the Vent blows a lot of air, it's really distracting. I didn't notice any air with the full mask. It blows air so much that my hand will get freezing cold if it's in front of the vent. And the way I sleep, my hand is in direct contact with the airflow.

Great video, dude- lots of fun too. (Subscribed) Certainly better than the ones from the makers of the gear...boring! Just got the n20 after 5 years of nasal pillows - I really really like it! Just like your review - you can move more freely, next to no leakage a and it seems to have a more quiet air flow. My most favorite part is no lines across my cheeks in the AM that take ~an hour to go away. Made me look like I was playing submissive games the night before!! Thanks for the video - I plan on checking out more when I have some time!

I am trying this mask out compared to my old one because I get rashes from silicone pillows. The air touch n20 offers memory foam. However, this mask leaks so much air from the vent compared to my old one. Is it normal to leak that much air from the vent? How am I getting the air that I need with it pushing that much out constantly?

Are you sure that it's sweating and not from humidifier rainout? Turn the humidifier down (normally lower for summer). If that doesn't work then look into REMzzz liners. It will allow for a small amount of airflow under the cushion.

I am a new sub to your channel, and I have to say your videos are informative, and quite entertaining. I recently started CPAP therapy, in fact just three days ago. This is the mask that I chose and I am quite happy with it at the moment. I know this sounds vain, but I am really worried about the creasing in my face. Do you have any suggestions on preventing the mask from increasing your face? I have already watched quite a few of your videos, so keep them coming!!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼😊😊😊

It seems the Nano get loose easily with the time on in hot weather like TEXAS, from the N20 I like the feature that you can unplugged the tube easily, the magnets and the tube can move around. These two are my finalist but but sure as i have not used any mask before. Thank you very much.

I use a res med airlift F20 full face mask and I tape my mouth. I don't use the humidifier. Don't need it with the mouth taping. I do get a red rash with the full face so I bought the N20 nasal because the head gear looks more stable for a nasal mask. However, I'm having a problem with my nasal passages restricting air flow in and out. I don't know why. I go back to the full mask and there's no problem. Any thoughts?

As a new cpap user they gave me the medium cushion for the N20 but the size guide that came with the mask said I should have the small. So I went back and they gave me one to try. The medium is actually more comfortable overall but moves a little side to side when I sleep on my side. The small is better for side sleeping but does cut into the bridge of my nose a bit. Can anyone explain where the cushion is supposed sit on the face at the top and bottom?

I continually get low marks for mask leakage. It’s properly fit but I toss and turn. I also have a huge head of hair. I can’t sleep with it up, but could it be interfering with the proper fit? I honestly can’t figure out why it says leakages every night. I’ve been using it for a month now and am waiting for doctor’s report on whether it’s helping. I was hoping someone had ideas 💡? Love your videos, they've been very helpful. One thing though, it's hard to tell how much the masks are leaking when the CPAP is between the camera and you and the mask, especially at 20cmH2O. All I hear is the CPAP. I bought the Dreamwear after your recommendation. Loved it, but it does get irritating on the upper lip if you have a moustache.

how to stop this thing crushing your nose and getting a seal. I have two masks, nasal pillow, and this one, this one is hard to get air in, leaves a ridge on your nose, is painful and uncomfortable. Too loose and doesn't work hardly at all. What would be the solution for this? If I go for a side position, the machine begins to increase the pressure and as a result, there are some droplets of water that causes leaks.
