  • The Bleep Eclipse is a leak free nasal mask. It uses magnets instead of headgear so you can get rid of your red marks and crazy CPAP hair. The mask uses adhesive seals to attach directly to the nostrils, eliminating the need for headgear. This can be beneficial for users who find headgear uncomfortable or restrictive. The Bleep Eclipse is designed to minimize noise, I think the diffuser works great and is easy to clean. The mask is easy to put on and take off, with a straightforward design that can simplify the nightly routine for CPAP users. The adhesive seals create a secure fit that can help reduce air leaks, improving the effectiveness of CPAP therapy.

I was a tester for this mask a few years ago. I love love love the concept, so many good reasons to love this. So nice to not have marks on my face in the morning. Also my hair doesn’t get messed up by a mask strap.
But there are definitely some cons. It’s an ongoing expense, (very costly) requires time each day to cut out and put on the Halos ‘stickers’, and what about taking a nap? Must use a different mask or else waste some of the ‘stickers’. For those of us with oily skin, or those of us who use skin care, it doesn’t work out as well. After a few hours the oils in my skin makes the ‘stickers’ pull away. And some, people reported an allergy to the adhesive.

I tried this after many other masks and it’s a winner. Highly recommend the mask hook to go with it.

Great tip to cut a slit into the halos! The fit is so much better since I tried it. The template idea is great too. Thanks for a great review!

I love the Bleep Eclipse. I have been on CPAP for over two years. I spent most of those two years with the Eson 2, until I switched to the Bleep Eclipse 4 months ago. I switched because I had been having problems with large leaks off and on for a long time. I had always assumed that these problems were with mouth leaking, because my detailed data showed the leaks going up and then coming down. I had assumed that mask leaks would show the leaks going up without coming down. When I switched, I was shocked to see a literal leak rate of 0.0, which confirmed to me that my problem was not mouth leaking, otherwise everything I was doing to address mouth leaking would not work with the Bleep Eclipse, just like it hadn't been working with the Eson 2. My guess is that I must have been shoving my nose into my pillow at an angle at various points during the night (I am a side sleeper). This appears not to be an issue with the Eclipse because the magnets are so strong and because the interface comes down from the nostrils.
I definitely recommend the Eclipse. Just note that occasionally you will get a dud halo that will leak from the outer edges of the metal ring. I suspect this is due to quality control, but it doesn't happen that often.

Why does everyone think each halo has to be modified with scissors to fit? You, the LankyLefty, and the Australian guy all show cutting these before you use them! Unless you have a strange nose this is absolutely not necessary.
I feel like an evangelist for these things because after trying close to 10 masks a few years ago I gave cpap up. For many reasons I just could not tolerate the masks. Desperately I tried these Bleeps and they made a huge difference in how I sleep at night and how I feel the next day. And I never cut the halos before use!!

Also I get condensation which builds up in nose and makes the tape come loose and leaks or if I turn the water goes down my nose and wakes me up. So if you don't have a issue with condensation build up from your nose its a great item.

I found I had to turn off humidification. Do you use any humidification settings?

Is the diffuser really that good, or is your exhalation simply going down the tube? I feel like maybe I'm rebreathing a lot with my bleep.

Wouldn’t it need an adaptor for the airmini?

Californian here, but I hadn't seen this yet! What'd you recommend pairing this mask with? -- looking for something super compact and capable of running off a battery so I can really resume the motorcycle camping and backpacking that I used to do :-P

Bleep + AirMini + Snuggle AirMini Adapter + Generic Tube
That would be a super clean, easy setup. The AirMini runs quite a bit longer than full sized CPAPs on batteries. Just make sure you are on CPAP mode and not APAP mode for best results. I would probably go with a Freedom Battery in your case. If you were in Canada, Go-Battery would be the better option but I can't find them in the US at the moment.

How is the noise of the air on the pillow where it exits the mask?
