    The frame, headgear and cushion are all separate pieces and can be ordered/replaced separately. The cushion has 4 different sizes and the frame has 3 different sizes.

    Just switched from the F30 to the F30i and could not be happier. I have finally found the perfect mask for me. The medium mask is extremely comfortable, I have had zero problems with air leaks and I love having the hose on top of my head instead of pulling on the mask. As always, thanks so much for your awesome reviews!

    Ive tried 5 different hybrid full face masks including the new F&P Evora full and the F30i is by FAR the most comfortable for me. It’s the only mask I can use all night. My setting is high pressure at max 25 cmh20 so I really need to strap whatever mask I wear tightly to keep a seal and this mask works perfectly for me. I also love that I can turn my and lay on my side and it doesn’t affect it at all. LOVE THIS MASK!

    I've been using this mask since April 9. It's the most comfortable mask I've ever used and I've been using a bipap machine for over 10 years. Just don't overtighten the straps. The area below the nose isn't made for a lot of pressure. You can find a pressure that won't cause pain but will create a really good seal. This mask is the unicorn. I highly recommend it.

      @@glendavesich2677 Hi. I really am still liking this mask. I also like that I can wear my glasses with this mask on my face. Also, I don't do it too often but there were several times I just unclipped the quick release at the top of the mask tube to go to the bathroom at night and easily clicked the tube back in when I returned to bed. I think it's a really sweet mask. Very comfortable and it doesn't leave those marks on my forehead like those other masks do with those forehead supports.

      @@glendavesich2677 Good questions. I find in the mornings I have marks where the mask tubes come down the sides of my face to get to the mask. But the marks are very light and are gone within a half hour or so unlike those forehead marks I used to get with my old masks that lasted for days. As for leaks, normally there are no leaks but every once in a while a strap gets a little loose ( probably because there's a little stretch in them) and then there's a slight leak. I remedy this by tightening the strap a bit which is easy to do without even lifting my head off the pillow.

    I recently switched to this mask after using a Resmed full face mask for several years. I kept waking up with deep red marks on my face from the full face mask and needed a change. This mask totally removes the red marks. When first using the F30i mask I would wake up with a sore nose from it pushing up on it all night, but that has gone away. I have noticed that I felt like I was starving for air during the ramp up when I first put it on, but I raised the bottom number on the ramp up and I feel I can breathe easier. All in all I am enjoying this mask so far.

I switched back to my previous mask for the remainder of the night. Did you find that the pain was just a matter of adjusting to the mask or were you able to mitigate the pain by adjust the strap tension?

    I measured the width of my nose at 1.5” and the length from face to tip is 1”. I have been using this Since January and received a really bad “fitting “ from my supplier. Due to COVID they wouldn’t let me try more than one mask, never measured or anything. I feel the edges of the nose part pinch my nostrils together so I think I need a medium wide? She gave me a small mask and headgear to start but the measuring guide in the bag puts me at a medium. I have since tried the medium but my ahi is average 9.8.

    I followed the recommendation to fit my mask during the day and assess it in my normal sleep positions. I thought I found a good fit. However, what size find is my fit is good during the ramp phase but sometime during the night I loose my seal. I try reseating the mask and tightening the straps but end up holding it on place. Eventually that leads to taking off the mask.

    The cushion does come apart from the frame and headgear. In my use, the front vent holes on the cushion are much noisier than the F30, even when nothing is near it. I find the 4 different sizes of cushion available a good thing as there is a higher chance of finding a good fit, compared to only 2 sizes available for the F30.

    I have an F30 mask and have bought liners from Silentnight at 6 quid each which only last for a week and are rough on the skin, then from Padacheek a piece of cloth with a few holes cut in it for 40 quid! Then I thought, hang on, I could do that much cheaper. I just need it to protect my skin from the mask so I borrowed a cotton face mask from my sister and she cut two holes for nose and mouth, clipped it over my ears then put the F30 over it. Works fine. You can get them for 1 or 2 quid and they are washable. Give it a try. Also found that the mask slips forward and so doesn't stay firmly on the nose, especially a problem when sleeping. Bought some large velcro cable ties and connected the front and back headstraps, tightened it to a secure and comfortable position and it works fine and stays in position through the night. Great to be able to use the F30 as it is the most comfortable and the full face one brings out a nasty rash on my nose.

    I like this mask a lot I don’t get the corner of the mouth leaks like I do with the dreamwear full face mask and the nose cushion doesn’t distort and leak. The headgear is also very secure and doesn’t slide around like the dreamwear ff mask.. While this isn’t’ my primary mask, it’s great for when I’m feeling a bit congested.

    I'm having a heck of a time with this mask. I've been using it for a week straight and after a couple hours I wake up and rip it off from all the leaking. Resmed site shows 0/20 for seal but very low Events at 0.4 I find the medium mask is smaller then the F30 mask and has less area to cover the nasal area. I'm sure this is all due to my mouth drop during the night but the F30 seemed to handle it a lot better. I may have to try some of the liners to see if they help at all.

And I love it too BUT it only lasted me abt 30 days till the small "hinge" at the frame where u attach the cushion will give way after constant taking out the cushion everyday to wash. I usually wash the cushion everyday n just wipe with anti bacterial wipes for the frame. So I don't recommend it for long term due to that small "hinge" design. You actually never turned the inside portion to the camera lens. A few questions: if you open your mouth during sleep does the pressure equalize or does it come out of your mouth, what is it like to sleep on your side with the tube against your skin (hot,cold, pressure rise or depres…, sweaty), how can one return a medical device that you’ve opened or put on your face?

    What happens when you're on your side? Squishing that soft tubing? The sleep Center that set me up with a mask with a front tube didn't recommend the style of mask you're showing with the soft silicone saying that when you're on your side you pinch the flow off. I felt like it probably wouldn't matter as I only have one hose in the front now with the nasal mask. I'm assuming that the flow just goes through the one side, but does it affect performance at all or is there something that prevents it from fully collapsing when you're on your side?

I feel cold are on my neck and why I move my mouth I feel feel leak happening under chin and sometimes on the side. Second question the nose cushion part is supposed to be flat against my nose? I can kind of feel the top part of cushion. I wonder if this means I for wrong size. I got a small with standard headgear. Thank you for your time .

    I have a small steady leak at the bose at one side blowing right at my eye.
    What is the way to stop that. I was sized at my doctor. The tech tested at full pressure. We did not hear but at home it is annoyingly small stream .
    I have tried tightening but not stopping as it is at the top of nose.
    If it wasn't blowing at my eye, I wouldn't mind the tiny leak compared to FP Evora nasal Which their vent ports blew into my eyes but I couldn't use it on my side as it kept opening up and she thought my nose shape really didn't suit the Evora. But that one really seemed to dry out my eyes making them feel puffy. So I'm a little more sensitive to this new one leaking already. Any tips?

    I had used the F30 (and before that, the F20), but now use the F30i and find of all the masks I've used, it blows a LOT of air out the mask face tiny hole vents. I am wondering if that is why
    I'm getting a zero score on MyAir for leakage. Also, I have the dehumidifier and for first time, I literally have to keep an extra distilled water holder and change it out in the middle of the night. I continue to have dry mouth. For two months, I have been sleeping on my back because I had shoulder surgery and wondering if sleeping on the my back makes it easier for my mouth to drop open, as often I'll wake up and realize my lower lip is outside the bottom part of the mask and I bring my lip up and back inside the mask. I ran across suggestion of using a piece of surgical tape perpendicular on my top and bottom lips to hold them shut. Also, wonder if this or another method is best to keep my mouth shut. I like both the f30 and f30i as for the first time, I've found myself at least when I am going to sleep, I'm nose breathing and I'm not a nose breather. Also I find I have less dry mouth with either of these than I did with the f20. Dean Olson

    • @cynthiaybarra7317
      @cynthiaybarra7317 4 года назад

      Yes, sleeping on your back is likely why you're experiencing more mouth drop and dryness. Using tape can work, or a double sided boil and bite guard to keep your mouth closed. Personally, I preferred the tape. Eventually I didn't need it anymore. Heated humidity is a wonderful thing, it clears up my congestion and I can breathe through my nose. If you're taking painkillers, that might also contribute to your issues. I know that I sleep much heavier and have major mouth drop when I have to use painkillers. Good luck to you!

  • @obijuan3004
    @obijuan3004 4 года назад

    My favorite as far as sleeping comfort is the nasal cup N20, but it causes gums issues on the gums under my nose. The pillows P10 are also comfortable, but the thin strap can come loose and it doesn’t allow for enough air to flow, so I don’t sleep as deep or as long. The P10 can be lying on the bed without me blowing air and the CPAP shows a good fit??? So, I’m stuck with the full face F20 mask, which is not too bad as far as comfort, and one benefit is that it works when my nose is clogged up during allergy season or when I have a cold. The bad news is that it can leak if I turn my head wrong and my wife will wake me and it can blow a hefty stream of air. The deepest sleep that I get is with a full face mask. I can tell after a one night back on the full face mask that I was in a much deeper sleep and I don’t wake up at 5 am for no reason. So, the bulky full face does a better job for the reason that I use a CPAP. I keep trying new masks but I end out back with the Fighter Pilot look.

I do clean the actual face cushion with CPAP wipes or soap/water daily. Do I need to still clean the head gear inside the head gear silicon tubing with soap and water? I am thinking it will be hard to clean with that flexible scrub brush .. it might perforate? Then drying. If not dried, is it a risk for bacteria. I appreciate you feedback. Thanks

    The biggest problem I have with this mask is the bottom straps riding up. It kills my earlobes, I got a velcro strap I plan to put under my chin to hold the bottom straps down, so hopefully that helps. There are some nights this mask is great. And other nights, there's a leak that I just can't seem to fix no matter how I adjust my mask. Could just be the tired rage I'm experiencing while trying to fix it! One question: are there actually different sized headgear for this mask? I can't seem to find a mention of that anywhere online. I'd like to try a large-sized headgear if Resmed makes it.

I’m using a standard size strap with the medium nasal/mouth. I clean my mask every day. I do have some facial hair but nothing thick. Does the wide size encompass the nasal area? If it does then it might be too wide for my nose. I try to get a tight fit without it being too uncomfortable. Any suggestions?

    I wld like to try this mask. I started off with a F20 which leaked each time I turned onto my sides and it left marks on my face. Then I went onto the P30i which I find is very good as it does not leak. Good fit into the nostrils. I swap the P30i with the N30i every few nights as I find the P30i makes my nostrils abit irritable after a few nights use. I am a mouth breather and I'm wondering if this F30i wld work better for me as it has the cushion that covers my nostrils and the lower part that covers my mouth.
