I just started using the F30i and found that I absolutely love it. It fit very well and does not leak air like my first mask. I am able to sleep better and more comfortably. I love the 360 headgear, due to me having a bad back I turn on my back and side to side very often. Thank God that I no longer have to spend half of the night pulling and tugging trying to get the mask to fit properly.
First of all I used Dreamware Nasal pillow masks but found they were irritating my nostrils. I then bought an F40 which was fabulous but I was worried about the magnets with my defibrillator and I found out about the F30i non magnetic mask . I am a side sleeper and read myself to sleep wearing glasses so this mask has been ideal for me . I now have two of them for use when one is being cleaned This mask coupled with a Resmed Air Sense 11 Autoset are as good as it gets for me .
I normally use an F20, but am scheduled to have cataract surgery on the twelfth of February (left) and the right the month after. The eye shields would interfere with the F20. Note: I have Goldehar Syndrome, which is why I have breathing problems….
Hello CPAP store, I am new to this mask..is it hurting my breathing when you lie on your side when you smash the side hose? or is it just loud? Thank you
I use this mask for a week. I didn't have a noticable problem yet. The mask is comfortable. The hissing sound comes when I turn on my sides. I think one of the air ways at both sides pressed and the sound starts. Also I worry about that if one side of the air passages squeezed can the air come enough still? My only worry about this mask is this question.
This is a very comfortable mask that seems to seal well, but the vent on the mask seems to blast air out that is a bit worrying. When I do a mask fit test, it seals well but my AirMed scores indicate an extremely leaky mask. I am a slide sleeper. Any suggestions?
Hi i'm trying to get used to my 30 i but I have questions. With a resmed nasal mask, I typically have very few events at night. I have noticed since using the 30i , I'm going from less than one event to 5 and 6 events. I'm not sure if its just the machine registering the new mask or if I'm actually having more events. I use a pressure of 9......thank you .......Joe
I am a tummy sleeper and I find this mask works great! The top of the head hose connection means the front of this mask is totally flat meaning I can still sleep on my stomach.
It's trash mask. The tiny thin clips break off easily changing mask from headgear. The need to be made sturdier like Dreamweaver headgear clips. I would not recommend buying until this issue is fixed.
A quick clip at the top of the Mask (not mentioned) allows you to disconnect the air quickly if you need to stand up

Just what I needed to know, thanks.

I guess the design of a very soft mak precludes a top fed version, right?

There is a leak on my gear where the tube attaches to the frame at the top. My doc said it was supposed to leak there? Thank you!
Mine does the same
Yes it’s supposed to leak at the top and mouth
@@TheRockRoomPhilZuckerman it stops CO2 from building up in the mask.
Can you recommend a mask for tummy sleepers?

With either of those masks do you have seal problems with facial hair?
I have a beard and no the f30i seals perfectly
Too bad they don't make a ResMed f40I with the same type of 'headtube'. I would think that will be the next option IMHO
I’m sooo waiting for that . Idk why they even do the tubes in the front . Why not just do them all on the top for all sleep styles
I found the F30i poorly made and for me leaks regardless of adjustments. Not nearly the quality of the Phillips Dreamwear mask, in my opinion
This is no different from my Dreamwear mask!
using that style of mask I would develop a scab right under my nose! 👃
Have you tried it? You'd be surprised how comfortable the area under the nose really is. Be sure you choose the correct size and shape.
@@dmcmaster3544 I have not tried the i but the regular F30.

Can’t agree with your comments. Find mine excellent fit and no problem so far with clips
Agreed.
