That soda on the right that took a ricochet off the steel! He he...
Mine came out of the box, oiled it and I shot 400 rounds at the range the first go. It was failing to load when racking the slide after fresh mag installs. Sent it in. They replaced the extractor. Since having it back, I have shot it over 2,000 times without a hiccup. I love it and I carry it everyday
Kimber is making a gun that works out of the box and didn't break after a couple hundred rounds? Shocking!
Purchased this firearm cleaned and lubed before first shots like i do all my firearms weather there $300 or $3000. Ran 115 grain 124 grain in 4 different brands. Made it through 300 rds and constantly had failure to feed out of all the brands. Not impressed out of a $1500 handgun. Kimber sent me there return policy with no problem. I just hope i get it back in working condition and do not have to send it back or have a gun that only wants to shoot golden bullets down range.
There's never a shortage of Kimber experts in the comments.
Kimber’s policy is a 500 round break-in. Before you can contact them for any issues. Trust me I’m a gun salesman.
My dad sent his kimber back after like 3 magazines lol. They competely reworked the gun and sent in back. Took 1 week.
Yep, people don't get that. Also, u can upgrade the mag for even better performance.
Lmao 🤣 really?
Wrong
Complete BULLSNOT! Not true at all.
Very sharp looking gun.
Always like your videos that is one beautiful gun. The trigger 😍
Review 327 Fed Mag Ruger LCR or SP101 shoot at gel. How lethal is it?
i have the non rail one. not one malfunction in the first thousand rounds my 9mm rapide was the same. not one malfunction ever. lost track of rounds. 10mm rapide never an issue but only five hundred rounds. aegis elite 45 never a problem. rapide 45.... she's still tight after 500 rounds but it did stop failing to return to battery.
Can't wait to see how it performs on the range!
All these double stack 1911s in 9mm. Give me a .45ACP or 10mm or something. RIA and Girsan seem to have this figured out.
Tri-Arc also has a 10mm 2011, though it's pretty expensive. They also have one in 45 ACP. Cosaint Arms also has some available in 45 ACP and 10mm.
Love the look and seems to perform well, nice job on this one kimber.
15 rounds for a full sized gun like this is insane when the xmacro has 17 flush
I thought I was watching South Park “ OK “ 😂
Man I like that one.
Look at the clouds of pollen in the air!
Hope you're not allergic. 🙂
My nose is feelin it in Florida 😢
I shot this at my local range a few weeks ago. They had a Kimber rep there with this and the Mako. I liked, but didn't love the KDS9C. The grip seemed a tad smaller than my SIG 365XL, which is about as small as I can shoot accurately. It ran great, and the fitting seemed perfect - but the size/shape of the grip threw me off a bit. Great gun, but not for me.
Kimber makes great firearms !
If you love practicing clearing jams, then yes they do.
Of course they do because they copy other peoples guns!
Love you Sir You Big Fan ,❤❤❤❤❤
Does it really go into battery with defensive ammo?
Saigon shit ... I'm still only in Saigon, I'd wake up and there would nothing, Everytime I woke up I thought I was gonna back in jungle
is the grip angle a traditional 1911 angle?
Drinking game: knock back a shot every time Eric says “OK?“ at the end of a statement...
I was thinking that, lol
I got a Stainless Pro Carry II....
It sucks!
Every 2 shots it malfunctions.
Departing from their traditional 2011-style, this new addition brings fresh innovation to the table.
Got my kimber micro 9 w me
Congrats! I have Never Shot a Kimber that worked.
This was sent for a review. It is likely that this went through stronger QC regimen than the rest of the models in the production line.
To be fair, it is not only Kimber that does this when it comes to review guns.
@@DamnManSamI have the same pistol a fired 400 right out the box and it ran flawlessly
@@btread78 Maybe they have improved their QC in the last few years. But what I have seen from a friend that has a Kimber 1911, and from others is that they are problematic guns for the price.
That is a nice 9mm 2011 Kimber. Does it sport a TAC rail?
The newer models do come with a standard 1913 pic rail
Does an optic require sighting in like a scope ??
Yes
Ok ok ok!
She's a looker
What you think of the Turkish 9mm like canik, tisas, Sar ect
I own them all. The Turks are turning out some great stuff at exceptional prices.
I own 2 Caniks (TP9SFX with Vortex Viper and an Elite SC with Shield RMS-X optic) and they are phenomenal pistols. Even though I own 2 365’s and various other carry pistols, the Elite SC always seems to be on my hip…
SAR is a great company and their guns, for being inexpensive, are some amazing performers. Ergonomics and function are great.
Is there a new ar15 trigger laser 🤔
Looks like a gun version of a shimano reel😏
4th comment .. hey Eric can you guys do some more zombie gun videos like you and Barry used to do?
👍👍
I'll have to start saving my pennies
I tried using steel case ammo in a Kimber ultra carry 2 .45acp and it jammed up twice fairly close together!! The rounds wouldn't let the slide totally close without using my palm to bump it
Kimber does make some nice looking turds.
Thanks for the video. Kimber...never again. I've owned two lemons from them. Both 1911s. And it wasn't the break in period. It was "break". Then return. Lol.
Today, we're taking a look at the Kimber KDS9C RL, mmmkay? Where's Ava?
My new Kimber fails to feed more then 50% of the time. Each magazine and different ammo brands all jammed the same way. I will be sending it back once I have the time to get to a FedEx store. As of now I am little frustrated to have spend over $1,700 for a gun that simply does not work. Very disappointed so far.
I'm having the same exact issue.
Wonder if it needs the typical Kimber's 500 round "break in" 🙄
Hard to believe it's a kimber. It's not jamming every 3rd or 4th round. At least that's what both of mine do........
My Ultra CDP II (.45acp) never once gave me any trouble after 2000 or so rounds. I let someone at the range next to me shoot it, and they loaded the mags with 9mm and it still fired 😂
Mine runs perfect. All 3 of mine make me happy
In the case of the doohickey, its hollows in balls
Am I the only person who has a Kimber and has not had any problems? Or are all the Kimber issues overblown
No your not the only one, all my kimbers run great. But I run Wilson mags.
I never had issues, but I also never used Kimber magazines
My roomie has a Kimber, had multiple issues with it jamming, had to replace the magazine. Still don't trust it enough to carry...
That would be a great gun for Kimber if they had an original idea instead of copying the Wilson combat EDCX9. Just like they copy some of CIIS 1911s.
Sootch had one, and it had like a big ass crack of the barrel shroud
Nice looking kimber but the value is not there. To many great options nowadays that are half the price
Kimber? No thanks. As a gun salesman and store manager Ive had less than stellar experience with them for my customers.
So in other words, you have no clue how kimber firearms perform…. Great comment.
@@randysalvaje512 actually I never was stupid enough to own after all the problems Ive seen. Also in 25 years as a street cop and in a special unit Ive seen a multitude go down in training.
@@kinch613 again…. So you have no clue.
@@randysalvaje512I have a clue. Owned 3, (Ultra Carry II, Custom TLE II, and a Pro TLE) and all jam-o-matics after a magazine or two. FTF like crazy. Now I own a Les Baer and it runs flawless. Kimber 1911’s are highly overrated IMO.
@@randysalvaje512 Sounds like you're the fella without a clue if you're not fully aware of Kimber's terrible QC and massive failure rate. Search engines are your friend, junior.
FN-571 😭
Crap! Another must buy
Kimber hmmm well they always look good -- way over priced for how they actually function though , at least with the 1911's.
That thing is super snappy or you gotta fix your grip and form. Lower your shoulders, loosen your elbows drop them a bit and vice grip your wrist.
I'm very disappointed that you decided to test what could potentially be a ringer from Kimber. I have checked out this pistol at many different gun stores and there is a large variation in slide to frame fit. You should never test something sent by manufacturer. They will cherry pick that. To stay on the up and up please only test guns that came from the distributor
$2000.00....
Damn. A kimber. An ugly gun. And someone actually reviewing it. All wrapped up in one giant “good morning” video on youtube. I hope my day gets better.
Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay.
Get rid of the kimber and the glasses.
Do not attend a gunfight with a handgun whose caliber does not begin with 4.
Found the boomer
Don't be fooled. I have the same exact gun. Can't get through a full magazine without multiple failures to feed. Swapped ammo they said so well see this week but I'm not very convinced.
Why is the bitrate seemingly so poor on the video? Im in 1080, but it looks like 720 bitrate
What did utube threaten you with that you've stopped posting on Rumble?
Can't wait to see how it performs on the range!
