- While attempting to pug my own key, I get in a little over my head, and find some interesting people.
Pugging My Way Up is a series in which I (raider in BDGG and former MDI "competitor") enter the world of pugs in World of Warcraft. I won't play with anyone I know, and nobody will know who I am. This season I am playing a Devastation Evoker, and my first goal is Keystone Master.

Late note on this, but the Rogue was trying to dodge the bleed: Once Fenryr starts to jump at you it lands at the position you were at *when Fenryr starts jumping from the previous player to you*, so if you dash away with Shadowstep/Glide/etc. you can get far enough away to avoid the bleed. He thought Fenryr was jumping on him instead of the HPal so he stepped to you who was already jumped on and is far enough away from where he is, however, he was wrong.

Yo Naesam just stumbled upon your channel a few days ago, and must say you're killing it with this series, keep up the great content.
Dude, that rogue was either two things:
1. He shadow stepped you unknowingly with arrow on head or didn't care/tunnel visioned to upkeep his burst window {sub rogue)
2. He murdered you ON PURPOSE because your meters was getting too close for comfort against his
Either way, bad look for a guy that left his key and rejoined twice LOL
Got all that I wanted ingame for my main and alt. Was thinking of quiting until next patch, found your series and i started to do it as a DH. Man this shit is hard but man is it fun.

Followed you for a while with this series and its giving me confidence to play M+ and raid again after seeing its not only me who gets terrible groups and toxic argumentative behaviour and stuff :)
quick tip for m+ devoker, almost always (95%) of the time, fully charge fire breath.

Wow, that rogue leaving odyn with .2% health left on the boss. Why? Why put in all the effort of going through the key to just leave when it's practically done? That is insane to me

When you had to lust I felt that, going from Gould gro never listing to being the only one who will in pugs is so odd. My raid builds don't even have lust bound most of the time lol
Most people brick halls with a lower-geared tank or healer, thats why you are getting stiffed. They don't know you are a ringer.
That rogue was so toxic for no reason lol
Pugs are full of them like that... Most of them buy their carries early and gate keep halfway into a season on lower io players or alts just like that rogue lol

Ye when people say do your own keys to build and do 20's they are telling you to sit and bang your head against a wall bricking your own keys because you invite boosted idiots or people troll you because you're low ilvl but were able to build a 20.
I'm 416 on a unholy dk... I build 20's left and right and all of them get bricked. I invite people who have good io sheets and decent runs completed and good comps but man.. You can't fix stupid.

I guess I must be doing something right since I can get about the same overalls at those ilvls, when you compare it to full mythic gear it just seems unreachable, but I guess how the tank pulls is also a massive factor
For most specs and classes it is required for tanks to pick defined routes so cooldowns align for the bigger pulls. Sometimes triple pulling tanks often get groups wiped because they dont slow down mid route to get everyone's cd's ready for the next triple.
But ye tanks who pull bigger make runs smoother. It's up to kicks then healers after that for group survival.

Tier drops seem bugged in lfr right now, had a rasz LFR drop 4 helmets and another boss drop only 1.

Bruh im 416 unholy dk and NO ONE ACCEPTS ME IN 20's... I can't be calm about it.. I can do 20's FINE.. My own KEYS TOO... Same bs man.. REMOVE SCORE/GS plz blizzard lmao... Skill over gear.
And how would you, in your infinite brilliance gaige how skilled a person is if not with a number you are literally given as you progress content?
If you can get your own keys there and do them I don't really see the issue either.
@@FokiHun My own keys get bricked by people who have supposedly completed said key levels already. Stuff happens sure but rookie mistakes when you've got the key already done a few times leads me to believe you've been carried.
I'm trying to progress on this DK but I wasted over a month on prot war with launch so everyone still on their mains doing 22-25's are seeing me apply to 20's on a 2500 io DK "main" and going "heh he wants a carry".
Fuck no.. I can compete and hold my own perfectly fine. It's the randoms with the io that shows they should know what they're doing but in reality you can't fix stupid.
Specially this 3.1-3.2k's on alts bricking peoples 20's with 390 ilvl lmao
