- While this weeks affixes were problematic, I made the most of it in my pug groups with some clutch keys and familiar faces.
Pugging My Way Up is a series in which I (raider in BDGG and former MDI "competitor") enter the world of pugs in World of Warcraft. I won't play with anyone I know, and nobody will know who I am. This season I am playing a Devastation Evoker. I completed my first milestone of Keystone Master. Next on the list is all 20s in time!

I really like this series. Kinda lets you see some of your on struggles in a nutshell. Though with a more positive attitude I reckon. Really nice.
Also that paladin tank was just wholesome af.

Love the balls to just go straight into healing, I've made 4 healers and every time I chicken out before queuing.
Is Polodan the wholesome pally from an episode or 2 ago?
The reason almost every prot paladin is positive is the fact that both prot and ret paladins have to be positive cuz we don't get invited to anything
Prot pally is really good tho so idk why you don’t. Ret I understand but maybe the patch will help ya out
What? Prot pal has asbolutely no problem to get grouped. It was just a Bad week with no healers.
Eh, maybe its more that the good ones are super rare

you got some nice groups there i feel like you get nicer people in higher keys since you dont get to higher keys with the "its not my fault so i flame you" attitude cause its not only toxic but also holds you back from getting better
can agree in my experience i got more toxic ppl in keys under +10 everything above was still oriented around timing the key but if mistakes happened then they happened you can recover from near everything with the right mindset
@@Z3N7UR10 to be fair since blizzard changed that you dont get score form depleted keys above 20 groups are disbanding way more often than before that change
most players are in for the score and if the key is nolonger timable why stay

Running his own keys helps
Feel you brother, reached 2,8k and it was a pain to get into groups as a war DD (no BL, no cr - got the engine one, not that much utility) ppl just don't like us, if they already has a protwar. Playing my own key usually ends in a fiesta, like I do have bad karma
you should try heal a raid or two to get an idea of where your healing is ik after a couple hours of any class in raid can get ur APM up I find it really helps for healing though with a lot more frames and mechanics to manage constantly and you stretch into different parts of the new talent trees and getting familiar with the entirety of the class would make for a super adaptable player
