- I attempt to improve my gear and score as much as I can before venturing back into pugging my own key.
Pugging My Way Up is a series in which I (raider in BDGG and former MDI "competitor") enter the world of pugs in World of Warcraft. I won't play with anyone I know, and nobody will know who I am. This season I am playing a Devastation Evoker, and my first goal is Keystone Master.

In defence of the mistweaver, the tank had meta, darkness and healthpot ready to use, he could have easily saved himself. It's not solely on the healer all the time. For example even you had control over your own death on that bossfight intermission, you had health pot up when you died plus was casting firebreath with a swirlie underneath you, so would have died even if you did survive the initial damage. Also not having BL up for that intermission is troll af. Healer may have been part of the problem but he certainly wasn't the only one to blame.

All the 3k io players refuse to listen but when they play alts and brick peoples keys like that priest or others who just leave after 1 mistakes lol
Kinda makes sense when you think about it. They don't want punishments when they play alts and leave keys.
blizzard cant do shit about leavers, if you add a penality for leaving the key i can assure you people would just go afk in the key instead of leaving, you cant fix toxicity brought by the community itself
you cant keep people hostage in your key if shit going bad sucks to sucks i wont be a hostage not being able to leave, trolling a key is another problem but adding a penalty for leaving its not that simple
The only viable option for punishing leavers that I've heard is for Blizz to start recording the completion rate of a key for each player. I'd love to find out someone is a leaver because they have a 15% completion rate because they leave every key that they feel won't be timed.
It'd suck to have your % go down because you played with someone who left, but everyone would have that issue, so normal players were gravitate toward the same completion %. People way below that(Rag, QT, Azralon players) would be way lower, which would indicate to everyone that person's a liability to the key and shouldn't be invited even though they might have a really good IO and ilvl.

Key mechanics seem to be easier than they have ever been though? What mechanics would you even say are hard? People are just dumb.
Even at 2.5-3k I find people who don’t know what they are doing.

Love how you get into 15+s with ease at 1300-1400 IO, but me as a WW monk with 2200 rating never gets into groups hahaa.
Heroism class. Also, if you go healer, climbing M+ is much easier as there's less healers applying by far. Role popularity in M+ is DPS>Healer>Tank (biggest responsibility, need to know routes and pulls). My experience applying as Devastation evoker vs. Preservation was night and day.
I stopped pushing after KSH. Only have to pug since i got no guild or anyone else to play with. And im top dps in like 95% of my keys as Ret Pall, shiting on meta classes. Still havent seen a single 20 this exp, since i get 0 invites and when i list my key, its getting depleted like every single time. Had an 19 earlier that day, its 14 (!) now...
Feels like that's just how it goes. Only way to get into 20s is to have already timed 20s, so you have to push your own key. Can't build to a 20 because it's impossible to figure out if the dps that are applying have their io because their gear is carrying their bad play or because they actually know their class and the dungeons. I had a 19 and had it downed to a 15 today because this week is tough and players are a coinflip now.
Also, I imagine a lot of people take their 20 keys straight off to their guildies. No way would I sacrifice a 20 key to some pug who decides to end it with a "gg tank sucks learn to pull" after they just got done turbo-feeding to the LoS mechanic of the water elemental in Jade Serpent. I can't blame people for not inviting me to 20s when I've only ever timed 18/19s after seeing people have that attitude in those key levels.

I know you get bad keys as well as good ones, but damn. Your good keys are REALLY good.
Why is this all in 1.25x speed? Put it to .75 and was perfect.

@@foxy9403 lmao wasn’t saying it wasn’t haha 😂 but failing to get the rotation of the class really hurts the dps. Especially when u have to combo cds on timers to benefit the dps. As most classes have something similar. Long story short I’m struggling lmao 🤣
man the fact that you play without damage numbers annoys me lmao, I guess it's for the frames or that they get in the way but it just doesn't feel like you do damage otherwise

Make leaving keys lower your rating
DH tank can solo purge NO boss. I main DH tank ~2600io
