how if at all would that impact gathering professions? If you can't level professions via specializations I'm thinking its better to just gather on every character until launch then switch into professions.
@@red2977 some people say "weekly" refers to both profession cooldowns and profession spec points. so the thought behind it is that u can still get the knowledge points and use them but you wont be able to get a "benefit" from the early access by having another weekly profession knowledge (probably a quest again) point as they will start to be active on the 26./27. (normal release). but we will see who is correct in about 9 hours :D
This is the best video I've seen so far about the launch of The War Within. I'm a returning player after about 8 years and it has been pretty overwhelming coming to terms with all the new stuff in the game, but this has made me a lot more hyped for the new expansion. It seems like it'll be a good jumping on point, I don't have to worry about having missed so much older content, I can just focus on what's ahead and revisit older stuff when I want to change things up.
I'm personally very happy with how spread out each level of content is this launch . It makes the game feel significantly more chill which I and I'm sure many others appreciate.
100% agree. Honestly I wish they’d delay heroic dungeons to week two of global release. So you get EA -> week 1 normal -> week 2 heroic -> week 3 m0 -> week 4 m+
@@The_Fictionist I disagree on that, for me it was fine that m0 unlocked with the first reset. I play 2 characters max and if it is stretched out like you suggest there would be not much to do for me really

I’m just proposing heroic be pushed to the second half of that stretch so I can spend the first full week focused more on leveling alts than farming heroics for gear. Then week two becomes heroic gear farming in preparation for m0. M0 and higher tier delves become prep for m+ and raid progression.

Crests: Awwww, that's cute! 🥰🥰 On a serious note, onto the topic... *EMPTY YOUR BAGS!* And not just your bags on character but also clear up bank as much you can. Mail to bank alts and/or sell DF mats and any gear that you may have been holding in the bags for different stats / spec etc... You won't realize how fast all the items from new zones can fill up your bags and then you waste all that precious time to clean up your inventory rather than leveling.
One thing about early access, if you're intrested in doing delves (wich i'm enjoying a lot): Do Delves in early access will level up your Brann, wich can be a really big deal when it comes for your alt proccess. Bran is Warband linked, so he can carry you trough delves for your alts.. this can be helpfull to leveling and gearing alt.
Something for new players with rares spawns, quazii is right. Just do your normal questing and activities, if a rare spawns nearby, check your map and kill it but most of them respawn very frequently. Some are like 12 hours but most are frequent.

Most efficient way to level rep of you have lots of alta is to pick one rep for each alt and do all the side quests that grant that rep to level. Then do the weekly and daily that grant those each day/week. That way you're not wasting time getting rep on one character that doesn't increase your warband rep pool. 😊
@@poshment5435 Wait, so if I get 500 on 1 toon and 500 on another it counts as 1000? I thought it took the highest to prevent easy rep grind abuse (going for the big rep rewards on 10 toons to max it out.
The final tier of upgrade for the expansion comes with a month of WoW subscription ($15 value), plus early access, the $20 was worth it to me big time. The other items that came with that were just a fun addition.
I still cant properly express how shit early access is in an MMO. Half of friend group got it, some pressured by others. Was looking forward to all starting out at the same time. Waiting at the gates as the timer ticks down was always such a goated experience. And no, I did not buy early access or do I support any company doing such things. Edit: Additionally, in the history of my time playing WoW, this has by far been the least hype I've been for an xpac. Early access is actually to blame for that. I legit don't even care about the actual launch now, it's just a big old "whatever".

You can literally wait for your friends and not start early, if you wanted. The issue is you won't wait, so being offered early access means you don't value staying behind with your friends more than you value new content. What a good friend you must be. Get over it. It won't matter in two weeks.
100% in agreement with this sentiment, having played WoW since it started with crazy midnight expansion releases. The expansion launch is about everyone getting on all at once experiencing the server outages and new content all at the same time.
Hate to say it, but I am happy with the early access. Will hopefully spread out the leveling people and help reduce server stress on launch day since there will not be as many people in the starting zone.
Good Guide, i got 1 objection. M0 will not be old dungeons, only the 8 new TWW ones, if you go the the M+ versions on M0, it s the dificulty of the expansion they released in :)
Yea, I was 75-76 after doing strictly Campaign and a couple of Delves. So you need Campaign and 1 full zone of side quests'ish. Or just go healer/tank and spam dungeons - do campaign after.
One thing they didn't think about imop with early access is War mode. With everyone starting together you're all the same lvl but with early access you'll have griefers making War mode unusable for non early access people.
interesting vid, only thing I'd have another stance on is the warmode. Given that the rewards are also higher, as long as there's not too much competition from aggressive players, it's worth it to get some passive extra gold and expansion currency. not to mention that there's usually less players in warmode, so less contention for specific questmobs etc (although it'll be busy anyways if you play at release). So it might be worth checking out warmode and seeing how bad it is, instead of going straight to turning it off. Most peopel in warmode are there for the extra rewards anyways and aren't usually very aggressive :p Only downside for me personally is that I'll be on a diving vacation when the expac drops, so I'll be having a bit of a delayed start. This could mean less players in early zones (in warmode) to contend with; Or more high level players that can easily kill me.

Blizzard wants y'all to think the highest edition will give you a leg up but it honestly won't. (Unless you wanna farm gold) Hell heroic dungeons don't open until August 26th and mythic 0s don't open until September 10th. There's no rush at all buds so keep calm and just level at your own pace.
The one item I would add, while it is a minor foot note on early access for the pvp enthusiasts the honor cap will be temporarily squished to 4k instead of the usual 15k. On official release the cap will return to 15k.
I am going to be running so many dungeon, lol. I am running 3 raid toons and probably 2 more that will be dungeon/pvp toons and I plan on trying to get them all through the content at the same pace. Or....I will fall asleep in the middle of the day and completely waste my time off during launch, lol.
I wanna go back to wow but losing my old guid cuz ppl had irl stuff to move on to like completely destroyed my desire to play it man. Going from an organized mythic guild into random pug was such a bad experience that I just uninstalled 2nd season of DF and never went back

Curious, why are you saying 3 days early access? The extra-cost standard access was 8/22/2024 at 3pm PST. Standard-cost late-access is 8/26/2024 at 3pm PST. That's 4 days.

early access split our friendgroup apart and we experienced the past 5 addons together, at 12am being stuck in queue. It was super exhausting but it was one of the highlights and we loved chatting and joking. I am super bummed that it doesnt happen this time.... f*ck early access... sorry

hey @quaziiwow , i dont think you mentioned in the first two weeks of global release that doing the delves will also get you a vault slot! another good way to get some nice gear ahead of raid (and potential tier pieces before raid also).
Was about to post this same thing. I don't think current M0 exists for the 4 non-current dungeons at any point. You just get their original M0 scaling that's now multiple expansions old.

that and they can avoid fighting some of the massive crowds depending on how many people on their server go early access, plus they can fully enjoy the story/questing without worrying about falling behind everyone
Can you use the 1st week of delves to increase the bran leveling? I know its not a huge thing but its something. Also, if going for Delve 8 vault, it makes sense to rerun one delve to 8 rather than doing different vaults since you have to do a 4/5/6/7 of whatever vault to get to 8.
1:20 definitely too late for this, but people in the EU that don't buy the early access have only 6 (?) hours to level to 80 and complete the delve rotations- which is pretty much impossible. That's the only significant loss I've seen.

That's called a main character. You do everything for the first time on the same character. No wasted time.
Easier to do it on main toon and just LFG the rest of the xp to 80 on alts

Beg to differ, lvl gear starting in War 408 for the initial quests. Gear spent upgrading pre-patch is 502 higher. you really be OP the first few hrs.

The way I see it...your getting $15 back as a credit with a month of game time. So the $90 game is really $75

If you wanna level several character do one after anohter for each one you level to 80 you get a 5% to 25% more exp

Why blizzard didn't use the Nerubians Dungeons from WOTLK? It match with the expansion.
