Loved this vid. There's a lot of focus on speccing, flipping keys etc, in the collecting world and the attention you give to these stories is refreshing. Another video like this with other random and lesser known stories would be awesome, because these are basically bridges into comics - read a great story in a comic randomly and then you could have found a new hobby. Appreciate the work dude!

Well written and powerful. Batman #400 was Knightfall before Knightfall, Arkham breakout. It was the last big Batman story before Crisis and a culmination of Moench's run. Detective Annual #4 is a great Elseworlds future tale of the last Batman story. Brave and the Bold had some wild stuff, my favorite was Bats and Sgt. Rock going against Satan/ Hitler in #108.

Unbelievable, I have a filing cabinet of mainly Batman/Detective comics and haven’t read any of these! I really like Batman 500 as I really loved the Az~Bat costume and the extra cover is fantastic. I also love 467 I think it is, where Tim Drake is on his own for the first time and the ending is really funny! I’m going to have a look to remind myself. I am probably going to choose a lot from the Alan Grant and Norm Breyfogle run, because I loved those stories and that is the time I collect now to try and complete the run. May they rest in peace.

I have quite a few reads that are smaller arcs but not man single issues that come to mind. Detective 826 is very good, especially around the holidays. Joker has Tim kidnapped and driving around the city. Fun stuff. Batman 466 is a great early Batman and Tim Drake oneshot story that I enjoyed a lot. Detective Comics #627 is great because of the 2 brand-new twists on the story in Detective 27. Cool video :)

I've only read the three recent ones. I really like the one with Swamp Thing. I bought a print from Mitch Gerads at Baltimore Comic Con of Bruce and Swamp Thing in the library. He and Tom King signed it and I put it into a plastic sleeve. As we were leaving the convention it was pouring down rain and some seeped into the one end and damaged it. Sigh.

I'm late on this and it's not a Batman issue but it does feature Batman. It would be Green Lantern Vol 4 #9. Great moments with Hal and Bruce

I haven't read any of these. I have always been a fan of the elseworlds batman, where it takes place in ocean. The joker is a pirate captain who teams up with Catwoman to find the bats hidden cave in order to discover his identity. I love that story.

I’ve been reading the Batman 66 stuff, I like it a lot - very camp ala the TV show. I also dig all the Batman Adventures stuff. I think Solomon Grundy needs another run with Batman, with all the zombies stuff over the last 5-10 years I’m surprised this wasn’t pushed. I have a Batman/Spider-Man comic, kinda lame, but I love the spawn mashup and the TMNT run. Sorry this was so long and rambling

You're so right - we don't get enough Grundy these days!
