    About Inter's name changes: Inter was forced to change their name under fascism (a name like "internazionale" was in contrast with the nationalist nature of the regime), so the club resorted to use the name "ambrosiana", coming from the fact that saint Ambrogio is the saint protector of the city of Milan

    • @alliedatheistalliance6776
      @alliedatheistalliance6776 4 года назад +2

      Is it true that Inter are the more right wing club, while AC are generally more left wing? Or is it like rangers calling celtic pedos, and celtic calling rangers fascists, basically just an insult to their rivals? If it's true how did the 'International' club become the right wing one, you'd think that AC would be more nationalist if anything.

    • @Alternees
      @Alternees 4 года назад +44

      @@alliedatheistalliance6776 yes, Inter is the more right wing club of the two, this comes for two reasons: the historical one is that, in the mid 1900's Inter Milan became the club supported by the upper middle class and by the bourgeoisie (Inter fans still today are sometimes called "bauscia", a term in the dialect of Milan which means "braggarts"), while AC Milan was the club supported by the proletarian workers (the supporters were called "casciavit", a Milanese term which means "screwdrivers").
      The second reason is more recent and is the fact that Inter's ultras group (the so-called "Curva Nord") has an ideology which is clearly of right wing (with some influential members of the group being professedly fascists). Also the fact that Curva Nord is in very good terms with Lazio's "Irriducibili" (a group of far-right ultras) is a sign of this.
      It's funny to think how a club born with such an international mentality and with the motto "brothers of the world" ended up being the "right wing club"; there's to say, Inter fans tend to not be racists, though they tend minimize the episodes of racial abuse (a practice which, sadly, is pretty common in Italy).

    You forgot one of the most important reason why inter supporters think (know) that Juventus has a huge influence on the italian federation. The owner of Juventus are the undisputed most powerful italian family: The Agnelli family. Agnellis have always been linked to power since the times of the monarchy since they own the italian bigget factory: FIAT. One of Umberto Agnelli's most famous sentence was: "Siamo sempre filogovernativi" meaning "we always agree with the governement whoever is in charge.

      In reality in 2006 the only team that have influence in the league was Inter. On Calciopoli scandals all the call to the arbitration designator by the Inter dirigents were obscured until the Prescription of Inter. But Juve was send to Serie B( not really a great political power then) . To make matters worse the provisional president of Serie A was COINCIDENTALLY an ex Inter dirigent and he assign the title to Inter that was THIRD. Inter fans live in another dimension, most of them said that was the best scudetto that they win, this underlined the loser mentality of Inter, a society with a fans when ALL are cryboy. And for example I am also not talking about the Inter passport affair because it takes me three hours.

No!!!

    The 1998 robbery wasn't only about the clear pk of Juliano on Ronaldo .
    The whole game was something beyond belief , just as an example Davids , a Juventus player , was given a free pass for all kinds of violent aggressions which , in any regular game , would have caused him a straight red card 5 or 6 times over , but here the referee Ceccarini would not even whistle a foul against him .
    The whole game was something bizarre.
    Extreme.
    Grotesque.
    Insane .
    The referee was clearly , and beyond any reasonable doubt , trying to have Juventus win the game at any cost , with no shame , or even an attempt to look fair or make any sense.

    Do you know why Inter was involved in the Calciopoli scandal? The Inter management, from Facchetti - an Inter legend - at Moratti, the president, before the scandal was exposed, became aware of some aspects of that scandal, seeing that it always remained unpunished, and knowing that it had been for some time that the illicit behavior continued, frustrated at the impossibility of remedying it, they tried to understand how it was structured, and for this reason, due to the phone calls that Facchetti made about it, they ended up involved (and Facchetti was a person of integrity, forced by the situation to insinuate themselves into those meanders at the center of which was Moggi, the sporting director of Juventus, and the one who was condemned for the many "crimes") (if the investigators had started their investigations earlier - they only investigated from 2004 to 2006 - they would have taken more than two championships away from Juventus) (not to mention the trials for the use of doping substances, in whose years many titles were involved, among these the champions won against Aijax) (etc. etc. etc.).

    And as you see, it almost happened again this weekend... Juventus and its sponsors made pressure to cheat on the calendar of the Serie A, in order to avoid a game against Inter at close doors. The president of Lega Serie A Dal Pino took the decision "by himself" and "without any previous talking with the council" saying that it was "to preserve the international image of Italian football" (as if there will be no other closed door games...), just to help them doing it, and he has decided to DELETE five games (btw also Juve Inter), and to insert them in a new round between the last two of the league, so Inter would have faced Atalanta, Juventus and Napoli consecutively... Thanks for italian football, Marotta (Inter's A.D.) and also the media knew that Dal Pino was trying to make a favour to Juventus this time (a bad choice and even almost a joke, considering the health emergency for everyone).
    This almost killed the competition this year for one reason: if Juventus Inter had to be played with fans at the stadium to preserve Italian football's image, why there should have been any other close doors game this season? This absurd and incredible choice was almost going to end the championship 3 months earlier... This will never be considered as one of Juventus faults, because the decision was made by the Dal Pino himself, but FOR WHO and WHY it was made, is pretty obvious and clear to everyone.
    Thanks goodness, Inter and the media (but also people like Gattuso), underlined the incoherence and the Government has stated that no games shall be played with fans at the stadium for 30 days, so they're going to repair, delaying the league of one week, in order to play those five (now six) games this weekend. A six game round just because they wanted to prevent Juve to play without fans and to refund tickets (they probably won't do that). Easy to say why it's not a lovable team.

    Inter Milan, and Milan are the teams that should have been relegated in 2006, and not

    Calciopoli is always misreported and at this point is just lazy.
    1. Match-fixing was never determined (though it most likely happened(?) Who knows except the people involved). It was determined that the club directors had contact with the referee designators (yeah, just like Barcelona and Madrid do in Spain) but in all of those recordings, it was just basically directors asking for a certain referee not to officiate their matches again because they were bad. Penalties or "help" were never discussed in those recordings iirc (in favor or against any team).
    2. Inter basically did corporate spying through TIM (and got away with it?), and IIRC, some of their board members had VIP club memberships at Inter. Conveniently, all the recordings showed everyone talking to the referee designator except Giacinto Facchetti.
    3. There was a second Calciopoli trial that nobody talked about around 2011. This trial basically concluded that Inter (remember Facchetti? well he talked a lot to the designators too! Though no recordings were "found" until the 2011 trials), Milan, and Livorno were as guilty as Juventus, however, the statute of limitations saved them from any punishment.
    So basically everyone "cheated" from pos 10 and up but only 1 team got relegated. A fair punishment would've been Inter, Juven, Milan, and Livorno with severe punishments but instead, FIGC awarded Inter a scudetto for scheming and they still act like they're the only honest team in Italy.
    Juve might deserve all the hate they have (who knows) but Inter does not get the hate they deserve for being little scheming cowards. I'm referring to the club/directors, not the fans.
    Anyway, don't believe me go check the archive of reppublica.it, Goal Italy, Sky Sport, Gazzetta.it, and even Wikipedia has a very detailed article about the subject.
